You have been a good and faithful servant Mac. You are in the good and merciful hands of Our Lady MAC.
Reminding myself of these promises has gotten me through many trials...thought it may comfort you as well...

The Fifteen Promises of Mary Granted to those who Recite the Rosary
    The Glory of St Dominic
    Guido Reni
    1613 A.D.
    Fresco
    San Domenico, Bologna

The Blessed Virgin Mary promised to Saint Dominic and to all who follow that "Whatever you ask in the Rosary will be granted." She left for all Christians Fifteen Promises to those who recite the Holy Rosary.
Imparted to Saint Dominic and Blessed Alan

    1. Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall receive signal graces.

    2. I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary.

    3. The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies.

    4. The Rosary will cause virtue and good works to flourish; it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it will withdraw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire for eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.

    5. The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall not perish.

    6. Whoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying himself to the consideration of its sacred mysteries shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise him in His justice, he shall not perish by an unprovided death; if he be just he shall remain in the grace of God, and become worthy of eternal life.

    7. Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the sacraments of the Church.

    8. Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light of God and the plenititude of His graces; at the moment of death they shall participate in the merits of the saints in paradise.

    9. I shall deliver from Purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary.

    10. The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in Heaven.

    11. You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the Rosary.

    12. All those who propagate the Holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities.

    13. I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire celestial court during their life and at the hour of death.

    14. All who recite the Rosary are my sons and daughters, and brothers and sisters of my only Son Jesus Christ.

    15. Devotion of my Rosary is a great sign of predestination.

I need to remind myself of these...it gives me the hope I need when life gets rough...as it does for all of us. Not sure how we’d get through all this without faith....

Praying for you again, Mac, this morning and at mass and through the day. Still praying and hoping for a miracle. To be honest with you such are the wonderful graces you are getting to be honest I feel more inclined to ask fro your prayers than ti give them. But such as my own prayers are worth you have them. I can only hope when my own time comes I go in such wonderful circumstances as your own. You remind me of the passing of St Joseph you died with the most wonderful family and friends wrapped round him. Such a holy death. I am so touched that you mention that, like St Paul , for your self to live is Christ and to die is gain. What a wonderful attitude of soul to be in!

    Philippians 1:21

    To Live is Christ
20I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have complete boldness, so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. 21For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. 22But if I go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. So what shall I choose? I do not know.…

I am going to be very cheeky and ask you a great favour. If God does call you home to heaven could you ask Our Lady to do me a favour and ask her to show me some proof of a Marian Secret I was shown as a young man ? I have been praying for this for many years but no joy.

I have been racking my brains for words of comfort for you but you seem in such an excellent spiritual place that I am more then a little lost for words. There seems so little I can say that you do not already know. It is you who inspire me, rather than me you at this time. But I walk beside you in pray. St Joseph , Patron of a Happy Death walk with you.

Please don;t forget the forum from heaven , we all so need your prayers and help.

Just said the novena. Your faith inspires me .I am praying for a miracle for you and for your family.
What Padraig wrote are my sentiments as well.
I hate to ask but I have been praying for 3 different petitions that are in need of healing and changes in their hearts. I am desperate for intervention.Maybe if you meet Mary you can ask her to intervene.
Also I have and will continue to pray for you at Adoration.

Don't forget St. Padre Pios promise when the time is near. That He will not leave the Gates of Heaven until all his spiritual children have entered. Ask for him to guide you there. Send him your guardian angel he use to tell people.

This whole dying business is very slow.
The 8th has come and gone in New Zealand and I am still here.
Perhaps I will spend one last Christmas with my family after all.
    It would be nice.
    God bless all.

It's kind of like the Lord saying "soon" in prophecy, isn't it, Mac? God is with you and your family for sure!

Dear Mac, my husband asked me to pass along a note to you. He has been praying to Father Peter Mary Rookey for a Christmas Miracle healing for you. Father Rookey was a Servite priest who had a beautiful healing ministry. He healed my husband of a debilitating spinal injury when he blessed him with a crucifix that contained the relics of the seven founders of the Servite Order. Father called it "bringing out the big guns"! Both being Irishmen, they shared a delightfully sharp sense of humor that lasted until the day Father Rookey died, so they are great friends. Father Rookey has a beautifully simple prayer that begs a miracle...let the good Father pray over you. God bless you abundantly, Mac!
