You and Padraig speak well on this. It is a dangerous tightrope and there seem.s to be the Mark Malletts and the Michael Vorises jum.ping on the tightrope making it sway back and forth. Very hard to keep our balance between the various tightrope jumpers.
You can find quotes of Pope Francis that are soundly orthodox on many issues: For example you can read a list here on Mark Mallett's blog https://www.markmallett.com/blog/2018/04/24/pope-francis-on/ At the same time Mark Mallett has ignored some of the more confusing things he has said and done. For this confusion he will go down as one of the worst Pope's in history. I would not like to have him as the headmaster of my school as he is prone to creating an absolute mess, which seems to be a tactic that he likes and uses. Under his leadership a school would become undisciplined and chaotic, I am afraid to say. To state these things is not to attack the Papacy but is an observation or commentary on his leadership style. He doesn't like to lead, he has no sense of how his words confuse and confound. If he were the general of an army going into battle it would be soundly beaten in minutes because of a lack of clarity! Pope Francis teachings like Amoris Laetitia must be interpreted in light of the teachings of previous Popes and tradition. The problem is that radicals in the Church want radically reinterpret everything and can use a little footnote in AL as a means of doing so. They just love and thrive on the confusion of this papacy. I pray the Holy Spirit awakens Pope Francis to the reality that he has been entrusted with a very grave responsibility as a captain of the ship. He needs to read the signs of the times that the ship he is captain of is taking in so much water that it is on the very brink of capsizing.
I'm not yelling, just making a point, (when someone insists their OPINION is the only right one,) and a very good one ,since you had no response, but rather insult me.
I also think; how can we really know for certain the election was invalid? We might ahve dark suspicions; but without reading hearts how can we ever really be sure? ..and if we are not 100% sure, how can we say?
I had several thoughts that came to my mind when Joey passed.. “My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor your ways My ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are exalted above the earth, So are My ways exalted above your ways, And My thoughts above your thoughts.” (Is. 55: 8-9) “Oh, the depth of the riches Of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How incomprehensible are His judgments, And how unsearchable His ways.” (Rom. 11:33) On December 6, 1962,Conchita had a 90 minute ecstasy around 5:30 in the afternoon after which, she provided two more pieces of information regarding the Miracle: 1) One day, before the Miracle, something will happen that will cause many people to stop believing in the apparitions of Garabandal. The doubts and desertions will not be due to an excessive delay of the Miracle. Jesus comments on belief of Garabandal before the Miracle From Conchita, Diary pg. 204, 1966: He [Jesus] replied..."I want to tell you, Conchita, that before the miracle occurs, you will suffer much, for few people will believe you. Your own family will believe that you have deceived them. I am the one who wants all this, as I have already told you, for your sanctification and so that the world may comply with the message. I wish to advise you that the remainder of your life will be a continual suffering. Do not be freightened. In your suffering you will find me and also Mary whom you love very much... I will be with whoever suffers for me."
Thanks Agnes rose ,did you know these facts ? On December 6, 1962,Conchita had a 90 minute ecstasy around 5:30 in the afternoon after which, she provided two more pieces of information regarding the Miracle: 1) One day, before the Miracle, something will happen that will cause many people to stop believing in the apparitions of Garabandal. Bernadette, perhaps you are not seeing the "big Picture" of what God has revealed through his prophets. The current tribulation we are in, is the beginning of the great purification spoken of throughout scripture and in in greater detail in Revelations 19 and 20 for all to understand. The Warning and Miracle foretold at Garabandal will be the 'gathering' of the elect who will give their Fiat to God through Mary, with the worst of the purification taking place after those events. By not seeing the larger picture of what God and the Blessed Mother have been revealing will lead to confusion you seem to have. The 'whole world' will have the opportunity for conversion, but most will choose to follow the Antichrist after the Warning and Miracle. It is very scriptural if one has open eyes to see and ears to hear with. What amazes me, is how many refuse to hear God's prophets of this age and assume He was a liar when He told us in Amos 3:7 "For the Lord God doth nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets". Our God is the same God as yesterday, today and always. His prophets were not listened to thousands of years ago and they are not being listened to today. Nothing new under the sun.
"Let he who is without sin be the first to cast a stone". Agnes are you or I without sin? Are we not to pray for those who sin and not judge? The only way our Holy Father will see his ways is through the prayers of the faithful. Our first Pope Peter sinned gravely against God and even denied knowing him three times. God's mercy is for sinners, not saints. We do well to see the troubles in the Church and pray and do penance, lest we fall from pride.
Yes I agree with you. Many of them said that they were. We were warned. Many false Christs will come showing signs and wonders. This is something that is taking place over generations and as all liars know their lies actually become that much more unbelievable as time goes on. Today, we have the likes of men such as Bill Nye and Neil deGrasse Tyson teaching our children what to believe.
Strangely, people are reluctant to call it what it is. Similarly with allowing Protestants to receive communion. Why?
We've been through this before. It is in complete opposition with/ or a break from previous teachings and from the teachings of Jesus. His visible agenda has been to steer the ship to destruction.
"Not to oppose error is to approve it; and not to defend truth is to suppress it; and indeed to neglect to confound evil men, when we can do it, is no less a sin than to encourage them." -Pope St. Felix III
https://edwardpentin.co.uk/monsignor-bux-pope-francis-must-urgently-issue-profession-of-faith/ Valli and Msgr. Bux then went on to discuss the practical, theological and juridical difficulties of correcting a pope of such errors. These include the hurdle that heresy must be “manifest and public,” that the Pope must be fully conscious of having voluntarily questioned a truth of the faith, and that he also has a “kind of immunity from jurisdiction” due to the canonical principle that no one can judge the Apostolic See and “even less” can they “judge their shepherd.” [.......] Monsignor Bux said, "More useful” than a fraternal correction, would be to examine the “juridical validity” of Pope Benedict’s XVI’s resignation and “whether it is full or partial.” Jesus did not give the keys of heaven to Peter and Andrew but said it only to Peter. Such an “in-depth study” of the resignation could help to overcome problems that today seem insurmountable to us.”
These people have obsolete scientific views that are really more founded in metaphysics than reality. Their primary motive is to prevent God from putting a foot in the door of their world-view (something actually admitted by a prominent neo-Darwinian). Unfortunately for them, recent scientific research seems to be pointing to the necessity of a Supreme Intelligence behind it all and Quantum Physics has revived the old Aristotelian concept of Reality. Information Theory is a relatively new science, but a rock-hard one, based as it is on mathematics (and remember mathematical imperatives took the atheistic Goedel to Christianity) and it has finally driven the stake through the dead heart of Darwinian evolution via random mutation and natural selection. The unimaginable amount of information present in the material universe and particularly in life-forms completely disallows the notion of randomness and the proven concept of information entropy (which is based on precisely the same mathematics as the thermodynamic kind) precludes the possibility of development from low to high. There is nothing random about 'evolution', itself a word that has become undeservedly contaminated by atheistic neo-Darwinism, but on the contrary, the progression of life has been entirely pre-programmed. One realises the genius of Augustine's insight when he said that God created the world 'with time' rather than 'in time'. As God is in perpetual Now, even the notion of 'pre-programming' and 'progression' is probably the distorted perspective of temporal beings. In the beginning was The Word and information is the expression in the Universe of this Word and this information directs the whole of creation from informing the electron of the velocity of its spin up to the genetic expression of the human form. Although it has taken billions of years within time, to our extra-temporal Creator all is just in the one moment. All the huffing and puffing and self-aggrandisement of certain scientists and the Bible was accurately right all along (I wouldn't pay too much heed to the Young Earth Creationists, even if there is a great gallantry about them, that notion of a six-thousand-year-old universe was the brainchild of a Protestant bishop-as far as I know, Augustine and Aquinas had a far more comprehensive and majestic view of creation). Of course, Genesis and the Old Testament is dismissed as myth by our educationists, yet, for example, the writer of the Book of Wisdom knew that the Pleiades were all moving together at the same momentum and in the same direction, something not discovered by our scientists until the 1960's.
'Useful' is not necessarily what is right. We are not utilitarians. Just because this approach might work in the sense of removing the immediate problem does not mean that it would be the right thing to do. The fraternal correction might not be as 'useful' in the sense of achieving as immediate a result, but it would be unquestionably not a bad or merely convenient action.
Two popes is not a new idea, but a prophecy living out today. Anne Catherine Emmerich and the Two Popes The Ecstatic Virgin Anna Katharina Emmerich; Gabriel Cornelius Ritter von Max (1885) If you’ve spent any time looking at Catholic Prophecy on the Internet, you’ve no doubt seen the excerpted portions of the visions of Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich on the “relationship between two popes” and the “baleful consequences” of the “false Church” that would supposedly follow. The way it is usually excerpted looks like this: “I saw also the relationship between two popes … I saw how baleful would be the consequences of this false church. I saw it increase in size; heretics of every kind came into the city of Rome. The local clergy grew lukewarm, and I saw a great darkness… “I had another vision of the great tribulation. It seems to me that a concession was demanded from the clergy which could not be granted. I saw many older priests, especially one, who wept bitterly. A few younger ones were also weeping. But others, and the lukewarm among them, readily did what was demanded. It was as if people were splitting into two camps.”… “I see the Holy Father in great anguish. He lives in a palace other than before and he admits only a limited number of friends near him. I fear that the Holy Father will suffer many more trials before he dies. “I see that the false Church of darkness is making progress and I see the dreadful influence it has on the people. The Holy Father and the Church are verily in so great a distress that one must implore God night and day…”
People seem to be reluctant with using the true words such as clericali I have children in their 30s and grandkids .Do i say to them what a good pope francis is? I must speak out against this so that people i love know that changing the our father is wrong and that communism is wrong along with the heresy of Jesus body being trampled on among some. Are you ready when Jesus asked why you didnt speak up?
You are correct. Sorry when i was replying before i dropped my phone. Its almost like a doublespeak is being used. Its part of the illusion that they are trying to keep us under. Challenging times for all of us to be living in. God bless
Amoris Laetitia is not an easy document to understand and in that regard it was deliberately ambiguous on the vexed question of whether traditional teaching and practise with regard to marriage and availability of the Eucharist remained. Hence the great debates and calls for clarification, which will probably not come. In the absence of any clear teaching to the contrary the presumption is that traditional teaching on marriage still holds sway. AL is in my opinion a light-weight document that cannot be compared to the substance, grandeur and weight of Familiaris Consortio or Veritatis Splendor. In time AL will wither and die whilst the teachings of John Paul II will shine forever.
