Today in Garabandal History: Nov.12,1966 I found another one of those great little stories, on how our Blessed Mother performed “small miracles “ all the time ,that went unnoticed until years later . This stories comes from when Conchita was in school in Burgos, under the direction of Mother Nieves Garcia. This story was revealed to Mother ,by Conchita on Nov.12,1966. Conchita speaking to Mother Nieves : “You know Fr. Collin? Now he is trying to pass for the Pope ( he is a Frenchman with a small group of followers who called himself Clement XV.) he was in my village. He wanted to speak with me but my mother wouldn't allow it. The people ended up throwing him out of the village. Well when I was in Rome, they showed me a picture from a newspaper in which I was shown at Fr. Collin's side, and it mentioned there that he had been with me and many other lies. I deny this since I have never been with him. They make up many things like this. One day a woman came to my village and insistently asked me to inscribe a card for her. I wrote nothing more than "Ask that God bless our only Pope his Holiness Paul VI." I don't know why that occurred to me. A little later a priest I know well ,came running up and said to me " What have you written for that woman ? She is a Mason a supporter of Fr. Collin". Amazing !
TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY: NOVEMBER 13, 1965 The Last Apparition at Garabandal November 13, 1965, was a day mixed with joy and sadness for Conchita. The Virgin appeared with her Child to the teenager but it was to be for the last time at Garabandal. As Mary had already indicated this was to be a special apparition for kissing religious objects and Conchita had many with her. After kissing the articles, the Virgin said: 'Through the kiss I have bestowed on these objects, my Son will perform prodigies. Distribute them to others. Talk to me, Conchita, talk to me about my children. I hold them all beneath my mantle. This will be the last time you will see me here but I shall always be with you and with all my children. Conchita, why don't you go and visit my Son in the tabernacle? He waits for you night and day." Conchita said to the Virgin, "I am so happy when I see both of you. Why don't you take me now to heaven with you?" She replied, "Remember what I told you on your patronal feast day? " When you present yourself before God, your hands must be filled with good deeds done for your brothers and for His glory. Have faith in Us and you will willingly offer these sufferings to Our Hearts for the good of brothers,then you will feel Us closer to you”. And you still come to me today to make lighter the little cross that I now carry. “ Then she said to me “ Conchita,I am not coming only for you but I am coming for all my children, with a desire to see them closer to our hearts”. The she said to me: “ Tell me Conchita , tell me something about my children, I keep them all gathered under my cloak “ I told her: “It is very small , not all of us can find room there”. * She said to me, “ This is the last time you will see me here, but I will always be with you, and with all My children”. “Garabandal“ -p.201
NOVEMBER 14, 1965:The reason Albrecht was at Conchita's house was ,this is the day after the very last apparition of the Blessed Mother (Nov. 13, 1965 ). CONCHITA OPENS UP WITH GERMAN EDITOR ALBRECHT WEBER The German publisher was at the village on the very day Conchita had her last apparition of the Blessed Virgin of Mount Carmel. During his stay, he had a series of conversations with Conchita, of which he published certain excerpts in 1993, in his fine book, 'Garabandal, The Finger of God.' In the presence of Aniceta, Eloisa Deguia (Madrid), and his own sister, the conversations bore, among other major topics, on "the last Popes," on the future "Unity of the Church," on "abortion" as well, about which Conchita, astonished, pointed out to A. Weber that it would cause the Cup of divine Wrath to overflow! The Blessed Virgin had spoken about this unfortunate practice to the visionary, in terms that had left her stunned. Indeed, at the time, Conchita did not understand "how it was possible to kill a child in his (or hers) mother's womb without killing the mother at the same time . . .!" MONDAY 18, AND THURSDAY 28, OF NOVEMBER 1963: When the locutions began, each of the two visionaries was unaware that her companion was going through the same spiritual experience. ABOUT A FEW OF CONCHITA'S AND MARI-LOLI'S LOCUTIONS The Blessed Virgin spoke to the two visionaries about Felipe Sobrado, a priest martyr of the Spanish Civil War, and whose remains were transferred to the church of Pontejoz, on November 18, 1963 precisely. "He will not be canonized, but through his intercession God will perform miracles" said the Blessed Virgin of Mount Carmel to Conchita. The locutions always came when Conchita and Loli were praying. NOVEMBER 18,1962 There was an authentic sound recording of an ecstasy on November 18,1962. It was taken by a key witness of prime importance attending the phenomena of Garabandal: Don Placido Ruiloba. On this tape one can hear a voice, not the voice of Conchita, which suddenly breaks out and clearly pronounces the word …”COUNCIL “ . the only word actually recorded and preserved of the Bless Mother or MT .Carmel, speaking at Garabndal. “Garabandal” book pg 158.

MORNING OFFERING PRAYER Our Blessed Mother said in Garabandal on October 18th, 1961, "We must make many sacrifices, perform much penance, and visit the Blessed Sacrament frequently. But first, we must lead good lives. " In 1945 Jesus told Lucia, the seer of Fatima, "The sacrifice and penance I now seek and require is the fulfillment of your state in life and the observance of my laws." Whatever your state in life may be you can sanctify all your daily actions if upon arising you recite sincerely the morning offering prayer. Through the "Morning Offering of Reparation" every act you do becomes a sacrifice. The word "sacrifice" means to make "holy." Once you have made your morning offering you make "holy" every act you do throughout the day. Whatever trial God permits to pass your way during the day becomes a penance — whether it be work, bad weather, rebellious children, sickness in the family, tight economic conditions or misunderstandings by relatives or friends. All these sacrifices and penances obtain graces the Blessed Virgin needs for the conversion of sinners. Padre Pio said it best, "If you knew the value of suffering, you wouldn't give it up."

Falling on the ground: 6-11-67 Mother Nieves: " Why did you fall on the ground ? " Conchita: " We were not aware of that, we were with the Virgin ! And we followed the conversation or communication with her, without knowing if we were running or not, if we were on our knees or lying on the ground."

CONCHITA'S " KRIS KRINGLE " It still amazes me to this day how Conchita does everything in her life ( and that of her family ) with a “spiritual “ and a non secular basis. I called her years ago ( asking how her Christmas was ) , and was reminded of how they celebrate Christmas , and I’m pretty sure its different than anyone else’s celebration, I’ve ever heard of. Their form of a “ Kris Kringle” ( where you secretly buy a gift for someone , and reveal it later ) is quite unique. It actually starts on Thanksgiving evening. They pick a random name of a family member secretly, and for the entire duration of the Advent season, they do a daily rosary for the person they picked. On Christmas day , the only gift given to your person is a Mass card for their intention, revealing who finally was praying for you the whole Advent season. Can you imagine telling your family we are not celebrating Santa, but something that honors Christ ? She is a beacon of holiness and humility in this troubled, and selfish world. Mary & The Brown Scapular When Mary appeared as Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, wearing the Brown Scapular over her arm, she instantly sent a message of its importance. It also connected the Brown Scapular to the devotions Mary talked about (the rosary, the morning offering, etc) to the Garabandal messages.
