Cultivate your guardian angel and he will talk

I have been praying to ask God to help me to know my guardian Angel more and to have the grace to pay closer attention and understand the things it is trying to help guide me with. I listened to a talk by Father Ripperger a while back in which he said that Angels and demons can not read our thoughts directly but they can influence them. They know us better than we know ourselves though and see most everything we do and can deduce much from this. This was interesting to me because I started thinking abut how my Guardian Angel sees me based off watching me as a third party all through the days and years of my life.
Fr Ripperger also said that if we wish to deepen our relationship to our Guardian Angel we could pray and ask God if we wanted to open our thoughts to allow our Guardian Angels to know them and better understand us and help us. We can also ask them to direct us in ways such as helping us to remember the good and not the bad which plagues some people.
So I talk now and then with my guardian Angel during my day asking it questions or just bantering my thoughts to it but this was deeply intriguing to me. I did pray and ask God to allow this.
Now, I have memory problems. Partly due to fatigue I think as a result of the illness I suffer and partly due to the medications they have me on. So, even though I have been praying the rosary each day for a long time I have had a terrible time recalling the mysteries without having to resort to a prayer card.
I realized a few weeks later that I could recall every one of them. Now I know it takes time to memorize things and this might sound silly to some people but I do honestly believe that my Guardian Angel gave me a helping hand in both recall as well as direction.

St. Padre Pio wrote a book on Guardian Angels and how we should approach them. Send Me Your Guardian Angel it was called. There's a page on him here:

No doubt in my mind. Thanks for sharing these details.
