I read AA 1025 years ago just after having come into the Catholic Church, but believed what I was reading although there were little outward signs of the infiltration into the Church - but it sure is as clear as day now!

    This from my priest:
"I certainly would not put much stock in this. Some of it is just simply not true when looking at the current rubrics of the ordinary form of the Mass."

When the NO mass is compared with the TLM, side-by-side, it becomes clear.

And there's no denying that 6 Protestants were involved in the 'formulation' of the NOM.
After knowing the contents of AA1025's memoirs, why would our eyes not be opened? The communists achieved what they set out to do regarding the Mass.

I was wondering, does this priest offer the Latin rite at your parish?

This compilation of goals/results is not entirely true. We need to be careful to avoid assuming everything is accurate.

    Example:

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED BY THE VATICAN II NEW ORDER. This plank from the 1940 plan has been fulfilled before our very eyes! Just this month the U.S. bishops have banned kneeling for "communion" at Novus Ordo services.
Many dioceses already prevent kneeling during the most sacred part of the service, the Canon. And because many Novus Ordinarians still insist on kneeling, many churches have removed the kneelers!

This "just this month" statement above (from post #38) does not pan out.

    From the USCCB website:

    http://www.usccb.org/prayer-and-worship/the-mass/general-instruction-of-the-roman-missal/girm-chapter-4.cfm

    160. The Priest then takes the paten or ciborium and approaches the communicants, who usually come up in procession.

It is not permitted for the faithful to take the consecrated Bread or the sacred chalice by themselves and, still less, to hand them on from one to another among themselves. The norm established for the Dioceses of the United States of America is that Holy Communion is to be received standing, unless an individual member of the faithful wishes to receive Communion while kneeling (Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, Instruction, Redemptionis Sacramentum, March 25, 2004, no. 91).

When receiving Holy Communion, the communicant bows his or her head before the Sacrament as a gesture of reverence and receives the Body of the Lord from the minister. The consecrated host may be received either on the tongue or in the hand, at the discretion of each communicant. When Holy Communion is received under both kinds, the sign of reverence is also made before receiving the Precious Blood.

It would be wise to read the whole general instruction above before jumping to conclusions! Am I pleased with everything? No! But let us be careful to not exaggerate.:censored:

    ______________________________________________________

When I celebrate Communion Services at the nursing home I now follow the instructions for priests:

    157. When the prayer is concluded, the Priest genuflects, takes a host consecrated at the same Mass, and, holding it slightly raised above the paten or above the chalice, facing the people, says, Ecce Agnus Dei (Behold the Lamb of God) and together with the people he adds, Lord, I am not worthy.

    158. After this, standing facing the altar, the Priest says quietly, Corpus Christi custodiat me in vitam aeternam (May the Body of Christ keep me safe for eternal life), and reverently consumes the Body of Christ.:D

I wish to say I'm not out to overly critique anyone or put down your holy love of what is right and true. But...

I am a person who has to talk to think and this causes me to often insert my foot in my mouth and regret what I've said. It so happens, therefore, that I tend to be very cautious with all that is written because I can often catch what misses the mark. I always tremble a little bit about my use of words remembering what Jesus himself said:

Matthew 12:36 "But I tell you that every careless word that people speak , they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment. 37 "For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."

My memory isn't the best, but was that supposedly found after a man had an accident and died in hospital? If so, I'm pretty sure I read that it was a fake.

Well, this is on the usccb website:
    http://www.usccb.org/prayer-and-wor...t/the-reception-of-holy-communion-at-mass.cfm

"The General Instruction asks each country's Conference of Bishops to determine the posture to be used for the reception of Communion and the act of reverence to be made by each person as he or she receives Communion. In the United States, the body of Bishops determined that Communion should be received standing, and that a bow is the act of reverence made by those receiving. These norms may require some adjustment on the part of those who have been used to other practices, however the significance of unity in posture and gesture as a symbol of our unity as members of the one body of Christ should be the governing factor in our own actions."

That phrase "unless an individual member of the faithful wishes to receive Communion while kneeling", is missing.
    Not by accident, I believe.

Dr. Alice Von Hildebrand on AA-1025 (Marxist Infiltration Of The Church)

    http://tradcatknight.blogspot.com/2016/05/dr-alice-von-hildebrand-on-aa-1025.html#more

This is an excerpt from the long article cited above, which summarizes things nicely:

"Mrs./Dr. Alice von Hildebrand is merely trying to humor, so to speak, the obviously confrontational Miesel, by pointing out that even IF Sister Marie Carré had written AA-1025 and that no such person as Agent # AA-1025 ever existed, Sister Marie Carré would have had to have been a genius to write what she wrote back in 1972 before the beginning of the never-ending changes of the changes of the changes began to inundate the church as if they are series of disastrous tidal waves, destroying everything in their path! Mrs./Dr. Alice von Hildebrand very subtly, objectively, and most effectively refutes Miesel's position where she writes in part:
“Carre certainly had an extraordinary perception of how best to harm the Church. How surprising indeed that all her inventions have become reality in the post-conciliar Church.”

    aa1025.jpg

    And about the book itself:
"Marie Carre was a French author, nurse and convert from Protestantism in 1965. Her dramatized memoirs, entitled AA-1025: Memoirs of the Communist Infiltration Into the Church, were originally published in 1972 as ES-1025 by Editions Segieb, France. The English edition was printed in 1973 by Editions St. Raphael, and later republished by TAN in 1991. The work is comprised of various biographical notes that the author obtained from a Communist who entered the seminary with the intent of subverting the Church. Marie Carre died in 1984 at Marseilles, France.

Thanks, SgC, for taking the trouble to let me know Dr. von Hildebrand's opinion. I had only skimmed through the thread. I'll read some more of it later.

Thank you for pointing this out, Sg!:( The fact that the General Instruction is referenced but not quoted doesn't help much.

Also, Mario, I think I remember reading either an article on a website or a post on this forum that mentioned when a man (or his relative) was refused Holy Communion because he knelt to receive. And he proceeded to make a written complaint to the Bishop or something like that. This happened in the USA I think.

I remember reading this as well SG. It struck me at the time as a very grave injustice and a lack of Charity. It brought to mind that when I was at RCIA while it was heavily encouraged that all receive on the tongue (Our Deacon was very firm about this and he is a rather serious and imposing fellow at times) and when the subject of kneeling came up it was not encouraged although fairly it was not discouraged either and we were instructed that it is our right to do so.
Ever since coming to the Church I have only wanted to receive Our Lord on bent knee. Due to health problems though I can not always do this and also I will admit that because the line to receive Our Lord is somewhat a choreographed affair I felt pressured to stand so as not to hold up the line so to speak.

When I began attending the Latin Mass at Saint Joseph's over the course of a few weeks I began to feel a very grave sense of sorrow when receiving Our Lord standing at our regular parish. I decided that if I am able I will receive Our Lord on bent knee no matter the parish or the form of the Mass and began to do so.
The forgiveness of our sins is of no doubt in the eyes of God with the Sacrament of Reconciliation. As His child receiving such Mercy and Love I feel such an overwhelming sense of gratitude to be granted inclusion for the gift of His Body and Blood, sacrificed and received by the faithful at the Mass that I can not but desire to receive Him in the only position in which I ought ever dare to approach Him.
In the Hope that in receiving His Body I am not receiving a condemnation but a saving plea of His forgiveness and salvation.

I'm just thinking this through- a number of parishioners who come forward to receive Holy Communion nowadays would have a difficult time kneeling and getting up because of their age. However, at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Syracuse this would not be the case. Why? They have retained the communion rail!

    very WELL SAID
I think there is also something about receiving our Lord as a member of His Bride, in the community, rather than making yourself stand out. I don't like to either. I think there is some study to be done there on the eschatology of receiving the Sacrament in certain communities. More will be revealed to all later. :D

On the other hand, in other counties on the tongue is the much preferred method.

Sometimes we use too much power -driven argument. That ties in with what Jesus has warned against.

    Well said, Don.
If at the name of Jesus every knee shall bend, shouldn't we as faithful disciples go on bended knee when He is right before us, and gives Himself to us in the form of bread and wine?
I strongly feel that all who are able should receive kneeling and on the tongue.
As for being fearful of holding up the communion line or drawing attention to oneself, it helps for me to remember that 'we ought to obey God rather than man', (Acts 5:29)
    and Mt 10:
32 'Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Today is the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.
    The second reading:

    Reading 2 PHIL 2:6-11
    Brothers and sisters:
Christ Jesus, though he was in the form of God,
did not regard equality with God something to be grasped.
    Rather, he emptied himself,
taking the form of a slave,
    coming in human likeness;
    and found human in appearance,
    he humbled himself,
    becoming obedient to death,
    even death on a cross.
Because of this, God greatly exalted him
and bestowed on him the name
    that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus
    every knee should bend,
of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

    and every tongue confess that
    Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
