I actually thought his post was charitable given that Fatima called out Dolours and accused other members as acting against the Magisterium of the Church for questioning GSYWL and Christina Gallagher.

Will you also now quote Fatima's post and ask for charity the next time he posts about other members in a condescending way?

 

For those interested, the web site, www.godspeakswillyoulisten.org has been updated to include Verne's messages in the book God Speaks Will You Listen, along with the Miracle story that took place after a lady with a serious injury was healed by looking at a painting of God the Father that had just been blessed by a holy priest, an hour long message that was recently made known and shared with several on the MOG via drop box and information on Verne's holy friend Cletus and his reflections on God. This upgraded site has been in the making for a while and delighted to see it's new look. Another nice feature is you can word search on the new site, by opening up the magnifying glass and typing a word in the search box. This is very helpful in seeing what was revealed to him on various topics of the faith, such as the consecration of Russia, the antichrist, the era of peace to name a few.

 

Fatima, I wasn't able to find any search box on GSWYL link. It went to "error 404, page not found" when I clicked on free download box, but I got all the messages when I clicked on the PDF box....only no search box anywhere that I've been able to locate. Don't know reason! Thanks.

 

ETA, you need to click on the PDF on the home page and once the book GSWYL opens up you will see the icon (magnifying glass) to word search. Let me know if this does not work.

 

Well, this time when I went to PDF my cursor just happened to bring up a little black box with 4 choices....the second to last brought up another page with reduced pages and their numbers on the left column with the main print page on the right...and on that page there was a search page. Go figure! I'm a dinosaur I guess! Thanks. Lots of pinpointed messages on the Consecration of Russia for sure!

Your media via movies, television, and the internet can be modes of evil transmission.

Many so- called messengers are doing miracles and preaching false doctrines because modern man is living by sensationalism. II Timothy 4:3,4. For there shall be a time when they will not endure sound doctrine but, according to their own desires, they will heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And indeed turn away their hearing from the truth, but will be turned unto fables. Notice it is according to their own desires, not the Lord’s.

Again trying to do things according to your ways and the ways of the world. Do not be surprised at the increase of false doctrine today.

All good points ETA. I think all of the messages you posted are surely manifesting themselves more obviously today than ever. The holy is profaned and rejected, as it has no appeal to the spirit of sensationalism today. There is no sign of this slowing down in a world that has lost is sense of God and his laws. Even the highest office within our Church has talked down the laws of God, as if they get in the way of sensationalism or the social justice causes.

He was saved by the Miraculous Medal. It gives me chills!!

 

Our Mother will use any means she can to save souls. The Miraculous medal is surely one of those means along with the Brown scapular.

Take some time out to read over the St Alphonsus Liguori discourses, they are very interesting and you can decide for yourself about God being vengeful or not.
I've copied a paragraph from an earlier post of mine for a different section of this forum from one of St Alphonsus discourses.


I have included below a section of one of St. Alphonsus's Discourses, which was in two parts. Below is a section of Part 2 of the 2nd Discourse; Sinners will not believe in the Divine Threats until the Chastisement has come upon them.

But, you will say, I have committed many sins during the past, and the Lord has borne with me. I may, therefore, hope that He will deal mercifully with me for the future. God says, do not speak so: Say not I have sinned, and what harm hath befallen me? For the Most High is a patient rewarder. -----Ecclus. 5:4. Do not say so, for God bears with you now, but He will not always bear with you. He endures to a certain extent, and then pays off all. Now, therefore, stand up, that I may plead in judgment against you concerning all the kindness of the Lord -----1 Kings 7:7., said Samuel to the Hebrews. Oh how powerfully does not the abuse of the Divine mercies assist in procuring the damnation of the
ungrateful! Gather them together as sheep for a sacrifice, and prepare them for the day of slaughter. -----Jer. 12:3. What salvation? -----what salvation do you expect? For what things a man shall sow, them also shall he reap. What things do you sow? blasphemy, revenge, theft, impurity: what then do you hope for? He who sows in
sin can hope to reap nothing but chastisements and Hell. For he that soweth in his flesh, continues the same Apostle, of his flesh also shall reap corruption.

It's not cheerful reading, but then the truth never is. And this is the absolute truth of our existince. We exist to obey and adore God, and to pay the price if we dont. Jesus suffered for each and every one of us, and when we sin, be it sins of pride or whatever, we throw away the value of the suffering that Jesus did for each one of us through his will and divine plan, we throw it back in his face and we move on on our own path of rejection.

You will not hear any of this from the pulpits these days, but remember, our times and fashions change, but God's covenant never will. Its our problem if we are outside it.

Have these messages been submitted to the discernment of the seer's bishop? Are they being reviewed according to the Church's guidelines on visionaries? If not, why not? I am worried about obedience in these writings, and humility.

Thank you Dave for a most insightful piece of reading. It had as it were you were reading my mind as to some thoughts you posit. I have spent many years alone pondering such thoughts long ere this net was invented. On some bad days whilst driving I used to write "letters" to some god or other as to just why I could not make this last delivery. Just why was I born was one of my rants back then, just why dear Jesus did you inflict this hardship on me, why ? It all seemed to work out as I got home late if at all. Delivering all sort of stuff to all sort of people only to watch the people in houses looking at fookin tvee as I wend my way home of many miles.

Good on you indeed as you mention pulpit. Oh lordy but how I would love those old folk who came to a parish for "missions" as they were called way back then. Just how I would love to get on that pulpit and say to people as to just how Jesus said love yer neighbour...............Do as to others as you would have them do unto you I always seemed to keep in my mind as I spoke.

Today's modern "Christian" (including my own pastor) no longer accept that one is to fear the Lord. Yet scripture and church teaching recognizes this is essential for the Christian journey. The confusion seems to be that we have outgrown the "mean" God and no only have a "all loving God" who accepts all forms of sin with no judgement "who am I to judge". Yet this is not Catholic truth and it is not biblical truth. Anyone one who wants a Jesus without his judgement and justice is following the 'church of nice' and not the God of forgiveness and justice.

 

The messages in the book God Speaks Will You Listen www.godspeakswillyoulisten.org have all been read and found to be not outside of Catholic teaching by theologians, priests and monks who have studied the fullness of the book. The messages were given to a man (Verne Dagenais) who had just become Catholic at the time and his very good and holy friend Cletus, after having this book studied by Catholic monks at St. John's Collegeville, Mn. and his spiritual director and found nothing in the book is contrary to Catholic teaching, felt God calling him to have his messages put in a book and so he had 20,000 books printed and given out free of charge as he felt God led him to doing so.

I became aware of this book several years ago, when a member posted it on the MOG forum. After having read it myself several times, I felt called to spread its messages as they are very important for this moment in history. No imprimatur was sought, but anyone with good understanding of Catholic faith will conclude as did the former head of the Marian Movement of Priests (MMP) Father Raux did after reading the book God Speaks Will You Listen as follows:

"I must say that I did not learn anything new from God's messages from Verne. I have read many messages from other locutions and prophets from various countries. What I found however, is that the messages to Verne present a pretty good summary of the many other messages.
