Had my gallbladder removed years ago. It was a troublesome organ for me. Tons of gallstones. Glad I did it. Will continue to pray.
Thanks Sterph. I will probably have to get it removed at some point. I'll try to manage it for now and see how that goes.
They have some minimally invasive surgeries now for gallbladder I had mine removed years ago before they perfected the techniques My worst attack was after eating a mayo Based tuna salad and chips Fats seemed to set it off Will keep up the prayers
Yes now they do a small laparoscopic incision. And fats do set it off. That's what triggered mine. Though I have been on a no fat diet for the past 2 days and I feel horrible. Thanks for the prayers HH.
Praetorian click to DrJockers.com his program, videos and diet are remarkable. It has helped me tremendously. You may need to eat the right fats. Cooking with only ghee or coconut oil has helped me. I use olive oil only for cold foods. Eating organic foods, but never processed foods, alcohol, sugar or white carbs is very important. I take 2 ounces of aloe vera, and 1/4 tsp of L-Glutamine powder with my veggie juice in the morning. It's a Keto type diet. And it has really worked for me. At the same time, try and make an appointment with an infectious disease doctor. Knowing if you have candida is important. My prayers are with you.
Thanks Byron. I am in the middle of trying to figure out a whole new diet so this will prove helpful I'll take a look!
Greasy red meat, sugar, processed foods, and frozen foods that you have to microwave tend to mess me up. Bread, eggs, milk, dark chocolate, and more natural foods tend to help! Yay, honey in your coffee!
Thanks Gracia It is very confusing trying to learn all of this Especially when I look on the net. One site says to eat certain things and the next site has that listed as a no-no. I guess the big things are stay away from lots of animal fats, sugars and processed foods.
I think those are things we should all stay away from! And I like every one of them! I don’t know a whole lot about gallbladder trouble but I do remember fat is what sets it off.
Ohh I hate to differ with Gracia, but I'm so glad those foods work for her. Bread and (dairy) - milk especially yogurt, cottage cheese, cream cheese and butter are not helpful. The only yogurt one should eat is coconut yogurt. Fermented foods like sauerkraut is very important, but if you are still with some pain, better to take it easy on the fermented foods for awhile. Eggs without cheese and cooked on coconut oil is gentle enough though. Try prune juice at night with some apple sauce if your constipated. Sorry for being so blunt.
There is also a tea that maintains digestive relief calledRachel's. Rachelstea.com 100% natural and it works to support and maintain healthy digestion. Email:help@rachelstea.com
Thank you for all of the input I am working on my new shopping list right now. I think it will be hit and miss trial and error. For right now I think I'll start with a very limited diet and add things slowly.
Smart. Very bland food like rice and then move slowly to other foods. But....have you had an MD diagnosis? You really should know for sure and then proceed. (Being like a pushy mother here but just sayin’)
Hope you feel better soon sir. Maybe switch to poultry for a couple weeks or so ? For me, I tuned out the gurus and adjust what iv'e always eaten. Sometimes a brand change makes the difference your body likes... I grew up drinking milk until the Health gurus said milk is bad. Whenever I drink milk my body screams YES! Gotta tinker Pra V8 is like jet fuel anymore...lol
Well helloooooooooooooo there IJoP I haven't seen you around in a long time Nice to see you again. I'm working my way through it. It is tinkering like you said. Lots of guesswork and trying different things. Thanks for the advice Hope all is well with you.
