I take very seriously what you have experienced in prayer! I will lift you in prayer today as we approach the Feast of the Sacred Heart. If we could only see what is taking place in the unseen spiritual realm we would be amazed, as we know the battle is on. I am grateful for the support we have in each other through God's grace. It does the heart good when we can laugh...please take care of yourself with the Lyme disease, I myself received a bite more than 10 years ago, I suggested back then that I thought it was Lyme disease as there was deer where I got bit, but because it was rare in my country it was kind of shunned,, I ended up with an inflammatory problem that has not gone away.. Lyme is a real scourge. A horror. I hope Sunburst got the antibiotics in time. Sounds like it thank God. We live with this threat constantly. I am always giving tick checks to myself and husband. I hope you got the right meds in time John. So many MD’s were /are ignorant of this disease. As I start to pull out of this flu from Hell I am trying g to pick up the pieces of my prayer life and will take your word of knowledge to the Lord. For what it’s worth it sure sounds like you got a direct grace. Too many confirmations. Anyway be assured of my prayers.
I agree Sunburst. I am so grateful for all on the forum. This support is the glue that holds me together sometimes. Like this past two weeks!! (Today I actually feel like I am getting over this bug. Deo Gratias)
Unfortunately not within a year of the bite I had sudden arthritis,poor circulation resulting in leg operations,leg ulcers,and now suffer horrendous leg cramps at night..Lyme disease can be a real pain if it is not diagnosed but very treatable if it is...
So so sorry to hear this. I know of others in your predicament. Can periodic infusions of antibiotics help?
John, I'm paying attention to what was revealed to you but I can't help you discern what it means. Sorry. I could have a useful tip for the leg cramps. I've been told by a few people that drinking a glass of tonic water at bedtime is the solution to cramps in the feet. Maybe it would work for leg cramps. It's worth a shot if you haven't tried it already. Bottles of tonic water only cost about 25c in the supermarket.
wow thank you for your kind words and prayers,,the lyme infection has been sorted this happened to me around 10 years ago so I was just left with the damage it done,,I remember it felt like a very very bad flu for over two years and lots of docs thinking I was nuts, for me this was the worst as an un-diagnosis can be very frustrating and humiliating,, thankfully I got the bottom of the problem which looking back now I am surprised they didnt listen I had all the symptoms and the classic bull's eye rash... I am in good shape now and have no limitations in what I can do thank God..the leg cramps and night sweats are the worst the cramps have the ability to make me pass out with the pain...lol the doc did suggest tonic water but I kept getting to drunk.. you cant drink tonic water without gin but seriously I tried the drug "Quinine" which is the chemical in tonic water and it did nothing for me..I am at present still under investigation for the leg cramps and had an xray on my hips last week please God I don't need a hip op for at least another couple of years..but seriously all in all I am in good shape and shouldn't complain a lot worse off than me ..
I’m so glad to hear you got it sorted. Everyone has their own experience with leg cramps and what to do. For myself I found a magnesium supplement helped. Low magnesium can result in night time cramping. I like the gin and tonic idea!!!!
Thanks for the info I done a little bit of googling and you might be on to something with the magnesium,,I drink loads of black coffee and it looks like coffee eats magnesium..the wife is bringing me some magnesium supplements after shopping today I will let you know how I get on.. thanks again
I have both severe left sided restless leg syndrome since the strokes as well as a benign but very disturbing heart arrhythmia. Magnesium supplements have helped both, especially the heart arrhythmia. I seem to be living life in my head a couple years ahead of where we are at present. While I was extremely anxious about what was coming upon us in the coming years 3-5 years ago, now I’m very much at peace knowing this current mess is rapidly coming to a head and a definitive end. The Triumph of the Immaculate Heart, the era of Peace foretold at Fatima, and the restoration of the Church are on the immediate horizon. This era of Peace may only last a generation before the ultimate time of apocalypse arrives, and the minor chastisement separates us from it still, but it is definitely coming nonetheless. And I’m at Peace knowing God is going to clean up this current evil generation.
