Recall what scripture say's about when it all begin's, "When they say peace and security, then destruction comes" 1 Thes 5:3 Are we there with all the peace North Korea, China the USA snd others are chimming in to have a peace summit?
When the economy collapses and bellies are empty the people are very easily manipulated by the msm and the spirit of the mob which is being controlled by those seeking to destroy the Church and our societal traditions. This is why these places attack the Church. Communism can not abide the Church and it's teachings.
Earlier this year I ordered a dandelion seed packet from a company here in the U.S that sells a larger, tastier variety of dandelion from some place in Europe; France or Italy, I think. Anyway, I scattered those 100 seeds in a wooded area near our house. Not a single dandelion ever came up!! It is a humbling moment when one discovers that they can't even grow weeds!!!
i Any cooking oil certainly is a staple necessity. The shelf life isn't great on most of them so they have to be monitored and used then replaced but many supplies are this way save the rice and beans in mylar type staples.
My step dad growing up made dandelion wine that he gave out as gifts on holidays and everyone raved about it.
I believe that this trade war that is taking place between the US, China, and the European Union can lead the world into a major financial crisis, which we must be prepared for, I believe that at some point there will be retaliation from China against the US, something like get rid of the Dollar along with Russia and some Arab nations, that would certainly bring the beginning of the world's tribulations.
Here I spend $$$ to spray and kill tons of danelions.... maybe I need to read up on this. I do remember picking dandelion greens, which my mom used for salads.
Don't worry, P4p, because you can call on me if you're ever stuck for a dandelion or two (dozen). I'm an expert at growing them with no effort at all. I can't even kill them off when I try. I managed to get rid of the nettles and briars but the dandelions are determined to outlive me. Seriously, we saw how important it is to have some back up supplies for emergencies when the supermarkets sold out of bread and other basic essentials after a couple of days' heavy snowfall. We were ok for electricity and water but some weren't so fortunate. I've been thinking of getting in a supply of coal in case we lose power for more than a day or two but I'm sure we will need to get the chimney swept before lighting a fire - there could have been generations of birds born and raised in that chimney for all we know.
Don't laugh but weeds are actually hard to establish. Dandelions and horseradish and lupin. They are very fussy. In the wild they are tigers but try to get it going from a planting---as we say in Maine "it's hah-d"
I have been prepping for a while now. As i live in the uk I have a hunting air rifle, after regular home food is gone we have about a month supply of food maybe longer if rationed in storage a small amount of ready cash and an easily divideable gold bullion bar both tucked away safely away from my home. I have done recconisonce missions locating remote areas with fresh water. I have a supply of bandages, antibiotics, painkillers and gallons of high strengh 94% alcohol for steralisation/sedation incase of illness this is good for barter too. I have a portable gas stove and heater with a number of gas canisters. we grow our own food and are steadily increasing our crop. I have a high powered for uk (2 mile) f.m radio transmitter mountain bikes for the whole family gortex clothing and bivy bags a even more remote destination with underground bugout shelter that has nearby fresh water and food source a low volume traffic escape route and enoughed fuel stored to make the journey. I want a small solar suitcase and a crossbow for larger game a unregestered scrap car same style and colour as mine to switch number plates to avoid number plate recognition camara's and of course i already have rosary beads brown scapulars and blessed beeswax candles If it gets bad i know it seems odd but the 1st thing to do is get rid of you're phones
I agree with the phones. A small handheld ham radio using rechargeable common batteries, a decent antenna and some time spent learning to use it is a much better plan for communication with others imo. They need to be versed on their use though. I once worked in a large metro area quite a distance from home and kept one in my bag just in case.
Lupins are flowers here, easy enough to grow from seed. I have some in my garden. I like them but wish the blooms would last longer.
Did you buy your gold from a vending machine like the one in this video? I've read that there are machine like that in Germany and in some Middle Eastern countries but I have never seen one in Ireland. How would switching nuber plates avoid number plate recognition cameras? Would a motor bike or scooter be better than a car for driving on country lanes or damaged roads?
An old car has no computer GPS built in to track you. Also it will run if there should be any kind of EMP.
No truly. Any wild flower is extremely hard to transplant. At least here. They just don't thrive. Takes a lot of fuss. Once they take hold they can be indestructible but getting them to establish is hard.
We love lupin. It's gorgeous here all along the roadways in June. But we can't make it grow in our garden. We've tried for years. Sigh.
