There is snake leading Ireland -- a serpent of the NWO

Undoubtedly, he entered the pit under false pretences. Did he not propose himself originally as a very sound pro-lifer? Well, we know where he and the rest of his (mostly home-grown) brood stand now. And the overwhelming majority of the Irish people have slunk into the same pit.

I am extremely disappointed with the way things seem to be heading. I never expected a landslide, as it now appears to be. Truly there are malign forces at work here. I am sorry for all those poor souls who thought voting to delete the 8th amendment was actually a good thing.

However, this vote merely is a guage of current public opinion. It changes nothing in relation to God and His love for us, for his Church and His longterm plan. It is a privilege to be a Catholic at this time of immense trial in the world and in the Church, to be able to suffer all the disappointment, confusion and insults and offer it to God. It is a time to exercise Faith, Hope and Charity and an opportunity to pray and sacrifice for so many lost souls. I myself was one of those until very recently, but for the infinite love and mercy of God I would have ticked the wrong box on the voting form yesterday.

I spent the morning re-reading the diary of St Faustina. The Divine Mercy image and chaplet are wonderful tools for these times. Naturally the Lord knew exactly what He was doing when he asked St Faustina to make it known.

Pray, hope and do not worry.

    Exactly!
    I don't get it.
    Were the polls rigged?

I guess pro-life hearts have been broken by the exit polls results. Can't blame them, the toll has been great. We must keep the hope for them... till the last second.

True enough, we feel totally beaten down and defeated, it's been a long and difficult journey, but certainly still time for hope , until the last vote is counted!

A phrase from the embedded interview within the above article: "I'm so happy that Roscommon is living in the modern world!"

It reminds me of the temptation of Jesus in the desert in Matthew 4:

8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them; 9 and he said to him, "All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me." 10 Then Jesus said to him, "Begone, Satan! for it is written, `You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.'"

Ah, the modern world, where Christendom has abandoned the Lord and dances with the devil.:cry::cry:

O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to you, that we may persevere in the Truth as the floodwaters wash over us!

Ps 69:1 Save me, O God! For the waters have come up to my neck. 2 I sink in deep mire, where there is no foothold; I have come into deep waters, and the flood sweeps over me. 3 I am weary with my crying; my throat is parched. My eyes grow dim with waiting for my God.

Ahh that explains much, I thought the result was very odd, the polls were suggesting next and neck up until the last minute.

In a way this is a relief; there is still hope for Ireland. I hope there may be legal challenges?

I even heard a reference to this on the radio this morning.. Perhaps the powers that be were desperate?

I'm still holding out, hoping against hope.
Please God, the exit polls included people who did not dare to openly declare their 'no' vote.

The politicians are not as culpable as the people who handed over the power to them. The people of Ireland have taken from God the power over life and death and handed it over to the secular government. Very, very serious.

Remember Jesus once said it was the one (Judas) who handed Him over who was most culpable before God.

The government acts on the will of the people, just like Herod. And the culpability however grave has by the cunning of the devil been cast in stone when the people choose to legalise abortion. Yes, the people of Ireland by their own hand will be culpable before God.

The nation of Ireland must be under a curse to have fallen for this evil. The people in England did not vote for abortion, it was hoisted on them; but still, things have never been right since it happened.

Dolours, I don't intend to be harsh in this reply. It is intended for anyone who may read it having supported the removal of the 8th Amendment, to realise the seriousness of what they are supporting, a choice that will have mortal consequences for their souls.

Ah well of to mass! It occurs to me that this is a personal call to greater holiness. Living in greater darkness means we must shine more light.

Thank God abortion stays illegal in the North. They would never win a referendum up here. They will have to force us...and they will.

I saw an interview on TV, it was from Donegal, and it looks like the people there (majority) may not be supporting this betrayal. God bless them.

    God Bless all here

I left this forum some time ago. I am calling in today to thank all of you for your prayers and sacrifices for Ireland.

What a day to be Irish. Devastating and mortifying. The result looks like a landslide, and will embolden the Government to enact very liberal abortion laws.

Although my adult children rarely go to Mass, I have some comfort in knowing they voted no yesterday. This house does not have that blood on its hands.

Padraig, the liberals will train the crosshairs on the six counties now. If you are successful in keeping abortion out do you think it will be because of our Protestant brethren?

Again, thankyou all for your prayers and efforts. Who knows how many hearts you moved and souls you saved.
