President Trump

  1. Yes, and those like myself are very vigilant with a honed discernment acquired over much experience. And your choice of a particular error to display? Nothing to do with one better known and tested. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. Ought also not be sooooo unaccepting of all of God's children, Mary's too, that you miss out on the fruits of which we are instructed to make our judgements. He said nothing about judging based on prejudices. I for one won't instruct the Father just who should be His choices to move through.....esp. when those expected to teach refuse to accept the original invitations! Those too ought to be the ones distrusted....would have avoided a lot of disillusionment over various clerics now for decades and ongoing in the present to a degree of seeming total destruction of the institutional church.

Yep. Best to give it a pass. Deceptions abound.

  4. Did nothing of the sort. No viciousness contained...but only in your own projections upon others. You're demonstrating your own bigotry against those you don't take time to even know their meaning in your pre-judgements followed always by the same knee jerk responses. What are you...the newly appointed Google/Facebook/Twitter rep. to banish anyone who doesn't dot the i's, etc. to your narrow and prejudicial judgments?! Actually was waiting for this. When you don't get the ordered reply you personally demand, without admitting your own obvious limitations in a more complete discernment, you can't continue in the discussion of presented facts and explanations, but must end the conversation.

Meanwhile in what I presented lies all of the fruits coming to pass as prophesied within this guide to God's own interference in America through His chosen "anointed" (this choice himself being other than your own expected and "pre-qualified" person and so if said prophecy would have been given to you it would have gone without being revealed and that's why God chooses other types of defective humans at times)....and THAT is what is ordered within discernment. Can't pick and choose. Many these days are critical of the institutional Church, both out of lack of complete education but also by that which is handed to them with all of the ongoing scandal....now coming from the head itself causing fear and confusion both within and without its walls. If these children of God are more honest in the basics written on their hearts then I won't be one telling the Father just who and when he can use His own creation, all of whom are not any more seriously defective than those you anoint merely because they happen to be within the walls....and some only due to birth circumstances. You have your own threads on this forum dedicated to just such horrors. So, I see, good for thee for not for me....or any others outside who see such scandals and lack of real truthful teachings of even the basics as backing up their own held misgivings. Don't blame them!

    https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2018/apr/11/democrats-praise-trumps-judicial-nominee-9th-circu/

Reversing the usual script, Democrats praised one of President Trump’s federal appeals court nominees Wednesday while Republicans brought the tough questions for Mark Jeremy Bennettover his defense of gun control laws and free speech rights.

Mr. Bennett, a former Hawaii attorney general now nominated to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, had backed a limited interpretation of Second Amendment rights that was overturned by the Supreme Court.

Sen. Ted Cruz, Texas Republican, also questioned Mr. Bennett over opposition to Citizens United, the Supreme Court case that overturned campaign finance restrictions and helped pave the way for the current system.

“You took positions, taking a very narrow view of what the First Amendment protects,” Mr. Cruz told him during a confirmation hearing in the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Usually it’s Democrats who fire the tough questions at Mr. Trump’s judicial picks, but Mr. Bennettwon praise from them.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar, Minnesota Democrat, asked Mr. Bennett why he backed legalizing same-sex marriage in Hawaii even before the U.S. Supreme Court had established a nationwide right.

“As a private citizen, I felt it was appropriate for my voice to be heard,” Mr. Bennett said.

Sen. Mazie Hirono, a Hawaii Democrat who has found few of Mr. Trump’s appeals court nominees palatable, raved over Mr. Bennett. She praised him for saying judges sometimes should look beyond legal precedent to reach their rulings.

“It is very refreshing to me and not only truthful in my view for Mr. Bennett to say a judge’s experience can come into play. I just want to point that out because we have had many nominees that didn’t express that view,” said Ms. Hirono.

Trump judicial nominees, said Mr. Bennettis an exception, and they won’t oppose him.

Dan Goldberg, the group’s legal director, said the White House consulted Hawaii’s Democratic senators in making the pick.

“When you have meaningful, real consultation — real negotiations — you end up with mainstream, non-ideological attorneys,” he said.

The conservative Judicial Crisis Network, which has been the chief cheerleader for Trump’s other judicial picks, had no comment on Mr. Bennett.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar, Minnesota Democrat, asked Mr. Bennett why he backed legalizing same-sex marriage in Hawaii even before the U.S. Supreme Court had established a nationwide right.

Petition Launched Against Expansion of the Syrian Conflict

Last week, we raised our concern about the possibility of an upcoming and widening war with regard to the ongoing conflict in Syria. We then put that growing likelihood into the context of Our Lady of Fatima’s own warnings and her message of peace, asking those in Rome who would be able to speak to tell us more about her fuller message of merciful warning and conditional peace.

Today, we have seen some heated discussions and threatening proclamations about Syria, to include accusations about the purported recent 8 April gas attack on civilians in the Eastern Ghouta region of Syria, and also the potential conflict with Russia. As President Donald Trump coarsely tweeted today:

Russia vows to shoot down any and all missiles fired at Syria. Get ready Russia, because they will be coming, nice and new and “smart!” You shouldn’t be partners with a Gas Killing Animal who kills his people and enjoys it!

Not only does President Trump call the President of another sovereign country an “animal,” he also announces that he will enter into a military conflict with Russia, once Russia dares to defend Syria against a U.S. military retaliation. Trump just assumes President Assad is responsible for the recent gas attack, even though there still is no clear evidence for that claim. A thorough and neutral investigation into the matter has not yet taken place.

Patrick Buchanan, the well-respected Catholic commentator and author, has just posted articles in which he shows himself very concerned about Trump’s putting together a “war cabinet” and about Trump’s possibly attacking a country – Syria – which has not attacked the U.S. Since Russia has announced a military defense of Syria, we are potentially heading into a larger war, even a world war. This would have grave consequences for many innocent civilians, to include women and children.

Thus, today, my husband and I wrote a petition in order to call on President Trump to stop this cycle of war that he has chosen to enter into. My husband, Dr. Robert Hickson, is himself a West Point Graduate, a Special Forces Officer once, and a former professor at different U.S. military colleges and universities. He himself had resisted the 2003 Iraq war which he considered to be irrational and unjust. He warned the U.S. military against fragmenting and destabilizing a whole country, which is exactly what then happened. As we remember, the war was started under the pretext of Saddam Hussein’s possessing biological weapons – which subsequently were never found.

Only recently, I myself conducted an interview with our Italian colleague, Marco Tosatti, on the issue of Syria which is close to his heart, and about which he himself keeps on reporting on his own blog Stilum Curiae. Tosatti opposed last year’s U.S. military retaliation against Syria, and does so now again. He considers these military acts to be unjust acts of war.

Additionally, the Human Rights scholar, Professor Alfred de Zayas, is calling for a process according to international law which would require “an international investigation into all allegations of the use of chemical weapons in Syria (and elsewhere).” He asks “to pause for a moment and give reason and law a chance.”

This is the text of our petition:

In the face of the current tense and disorderly situation with regard to Syria where President Donald Trump has announced that he will make a military retaliation against Syria and where Russia has declared it will defend Syria against such a military act, many people in the world are concerned that a larger war could be developing now. Thus we post the following declaration and ask as many people as possible to sign it as a voice for a just and merciful peace.

We, the undersigned, hereby make public our resistance against President Donald Trump’s announcement that he will, within the next hours or days, retaliate militarily against the sovereign state of Syria, with the argument that the Syrian government is guilty of the the use of chemical weapons against civilians in the Ghouta region on 8 April.

Such a military retaliation is unjust because the purported gas attack has not yet even been sufficiently and carefully investigated by a neutral investigatory expert body. Since the facts are not yet even clear about who committed such a possible crime, how could we then already punish Syria?

Such a military retaliation would also provoke a military response from Russia which has a military presence in Syria upon request from Syria itself in order to help the country free itself from ISIS and other rebel groups.

Thus, a military intervention on the side of President Trump and his allies might very well provoke a war with Russia which could lead to a widening war involving Europe – to include Turkey – and other regions in the world.

Following Just War Doctrine, we insist upon a fair investigation of the facts before entering a war. We remind President Trump of the principle of self-defense, which means that a country may only use military force against another sovereign country when it has been attacked by it. We insist upon prudence and truth. We refer our readers to an excellent statement written on 10 April by Patrick Buchanan.

We ask the world leaders to do everything in their power to stop this cycle of civil and imperial wars.

Some of us remember World War II and the effects on so many innocent civilians.

Let us prevent another, potentially more disastrous world war.

We are pleased to let our readers know that some sincerely earnest and reflective persons have already signed this petition. The first ten signatories were:

Dr. Robert Moynihan, editor-in-chief of Inside the Vatican (USA)

Dr. Markus Büning, theologian, lawyer, and book author (Germany)

    Marco Tosatti, journalist (Italy)

Father Reto Nay, editor-in-chief of Gloria.tv (Switzerland),

Dr. Thomas Stark, Professor of Philosophy (Austria),

Dr. Peter Chojnowski, Professor of Philosophy (USA),

Brother Andre Marie, M.I.C.M., Superior of the Saint Benedict Center (USA),

    Deacon Eugene McGuirk (USA)

Dr. Robert Hickson, retired Special Forces Officer, retired Professor of Literature, Strategy, and Cultural History (USA)

    Dr. Maike Hickson, journalist (USA)

Subsequently, some additional persons of substance have added their own names to the declaration:

Dr. Josef Seifert, Professor of Philosophy (em.) (Austria)

    Willy Wimmer
Secretary of State, Ministry of Defense, (ret.) (Germany),

    Dr. Eva-Maria Föllmer-Müller, psychologist (Switzerland),

Karl-Jürgen Müller, teacher (Germany and Switzerland)

Dr. Cyrille Dounot, Professor of Law (France)

    Dr. h.c. Michael Hesemann (Germany)

Guillaume de Thieulloy, editor of the French blog Le Salon Beige (France),

    Professor Paolo Pasqualucci (Italy)

Riccardo Cascioli, editor-in-chief of La Nuova Bussola Quotidiana

Dr. h.c. Harry Veryser, Professor of Economics, University of Detroit Mercy (USA)

Pedro Luis Llera, Director of the John Paul II School of Puerto Real (Spain)

    Reed Armstrong, artist (USA)

Steve Skojec, Founder and Publisher of OnePeterFive (USA)

Dr. E. Michael Jones, Founder and Editor of Culture Wars (USA)

Dr. Till Kinzel, Professor of Literature (Germany)

Marco Tosatti has already reported on this new initiative on his own blog, Stilum Curiae. Others have announced that they will do the same. Thus, we invite all of you to give your personal testimony as a voice of justice and peace. More than 1200 people have already signed the petition since we posted it this afternoon. May the world not enter further into another war, ignited by a gas attack whose perpetrators have not yet even been reliably determined.

May our Church leaders themselves also raise their voices of deliberate reason and of justice so that such a widening war could – and would – be prevented.

There are more good reasons now to have the full revelation of the Message of Fatima and thereby reverently consecrate Russia herself to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

  7. Um, just in case you haven't been able to keep up: (as ever with this chosen leader you can't chance on judging him prior to the ongoing actual events....confusing so many, even the "experts" and fear mongers. He did get the reaction from Putin which may have been his real goal, making him look rather weak back home as he scattered his forces in his immediate response to threats alone; and Trump got the world to see that our allies are getting in line with cooperating to some extent with Trumpy's goals. He sees things on the larger scale and into the future ramifications)

Trump Pauses on Syrian Strike – Crushing Hopes of Warhawks Everywhere

POTUS TRUMP: Never said when an attack on Syria would take place. Could be very soon or not so soon at all! In any event, the United States, under my Administration, has done a great job of ridding the region of ISIS. Where is our “Thank you America?”

HA! So we'll see....again. Amazing when you think he must do what he does with both hands being tied behind his back by all the anti-good elements of the world.

Since Trump's foreign policy is often a reaction to pictures and videos of children supposedly being gassed, I'd gladly show him lots of actual maimed and dead children in Gaza and Yemen..... oh wait, Israel and Saudi Arabia are allies so that killing is A-OK. The US cares so much they must save all those Syrians from the evil Assad. They REALLY care about the Syrian people that much!! Just like the US cared so much about the people of Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya...

It's simple and works so well, get instructions from deep state/neocons/zionists who to attack next then....1st, claim ISIS is now in the Muslim country so we've got to help rid them. 2. Remove the active govt of the sovereign nation by any means overtly or covertly (soon as possible), make sure people believe he is killing all his people to sell it. 2. act like you are attacking ISIS (or similar) while funding same/similar terrorist groups to counter the country's army. 3. destroy infrastructure, supplies, food, hospitals etc. claiming it's to get the terrorists 4. Institute a puppet leader as soon as possible. Watch as thousands are killed and maimed, millions fee, and have no plan what to do next except move on to the next country........

While I follow QAnon very closely (and introduced it to MOG), its adherents are treating “Q” as an oracle of divine proportions. I don’t doubt for a minute that much of what seems to be implied in Q’s posts or this former firefighter’s “prophecies” might come to pass.

But because of the vicious anti-Catholic biases of both the “Q” followers and this protestant “prophet” they cannot be wholly trusted. God gets the last word, not Q.

Furthermore, the rabid anti-Catholic sentiments of this last video, that centuries old theological teachings of Catholicism will be proven wrong, which is a direct attack on the Traditions and theology of the Church regarding infallibility, is a very dangerous “message” to share with souls on MOG.

I stand by my assessment and intuition on this subject and will not tolerate such anti-Catholic videos in the future.

(For a good Catholic’s take on Q’s posts, see https://m.facebook.com/Patriot-Uprising-with-Timothy-Shea-230233314191887/. He understands the anti-Catholicism among Q followers and seeks to balance it.)

I did go to that link and I was glad to have it. Our dilemma is that to outsiders the corruption in the Church institution seems to confirm all those black legends of the 1500’s. They are operating from terrible ignorance. I posted concerns about this last week. I think where Q is concerned you “take the meat and leave the bones.” Where Mark Taylor is concerned you just have to question the origin of his prophetic voice and that is very troubling indeed. Because he is very accurate. So....what is the source? The rule of thumb in place in Being protected from false seers is whether or not it veers from traditional Catholic doctrine. Years and years and years ago I saw this evangelical couple on a show talking about visitations from angels and all these miracles and wonders and then they said the angel told them the pope was just a man no different from any other man and I said OK jig is up! And shut off the TV. We have to be SO careful.

    That is true. Very insidious

  14. The "greater secular world" I referenced is that world that resides outside of the M.E. region of ongoing factional type religious wars/terrorism based on the faction each favors....and Assad sits in the middle of THAT world regardless of his approach to governing. Very simple with no contradictions to anything of the current reality of the region....including the choice of chemical weapons, often, by Assad against those particular "religious" type factions who challenge him. It has become a religious war and Assad has been forced to take sides in that religious war:

Shiite Muslims from Lebanon, Iraq and Iran have flooded into Syria to defend sacred sites and President Bashar al-Assad's embattled regime. Sunni Muslims, some affiliated with al Qaeda, have rushed in to join rebels, most of whom are Sunni.

Both sides use religious rhetoric as a rallying cry, calling each other "infidels" and "Satan's army."

  15. I would only add that in the case of Mark Taylor....he was not considered "accurate" at the time of his prophesies....just the opposite to the hearing audience at the time. What he was predicting was unbelievable to all at the time due to the known character of Trump's past, his inexperience in political life, as well as the world's own environment of the ongoing reality of all things corrupt and immoral, only growing to a point of hopelessness for any change....esp. for America and any return to its Christian roots. That is why Mark was NOT accepted, until what he said, early on and totally unexpected, came to pass and continues as people observe and have to admit each day....the very proof of the measure of the man's prophetical legitimacy, standing on its own. People may knee jerk react to his outsider's view to how he's offered opinions of hypocrisy and falsehood within ALL denominations held dear by their own, but in today's environment of corruption within all those denominations, going uncriticized by their own authorities, is rather refreshing and honest and cuts through the hypocrisy. The fruits have been a blessing of hope for so many who had seen only a negative future for their dreams of returning the nation to God along with the world that would be influenced as well by this leader for good.

I wonder what other political leaders down through the ages were rumored to be anointed to the people they ruled? How many of these purposely infiltrated the churches and tried to brew up support in them with stories of miraculous hope in a man who had the power to restore the nation?

Even though I think the U.S. has no business even paying attention to Assad.... I call bullshit on the false flag theory. This is Putin testing the west plain and simple. I think he's betting European nations wont react even if its obvious Assad used chemical weapons; thus leaving Trump to feel his role as the bad guy. All Trump needs to do is be patient. In my opinion, Putin wont go to war with U.S. or NATO over Syria; but Ukraine, I believe he will.

Yes he is very straight forward in criticicizing other denominations and rightly so. He nails it. I e followed Mark Taylor since way before the election but a recent prophetic observation from him about the Catholic Church stopped me in my tracks. We know the Church is in a mess right now but to decry it as devilish and evil for 2000 years that I will not listen to and that does not come from the Holy Spirit. In fact sadly it identifies a different source entirely. Taylor sees a great harvest of Catholics when all these terrible NWO facts come to light. This to me is chilling. This is antithetical to what Our Lady has told us at Fatima and at Quito and LaSalette. Not to mention Catholic saints.

Tanker, Byron, Carol55 and 1 other person like this.
  19. In this case you can watch and see. We can't very well observe the centuries prior...other than through various forms of historical telling, which in itself is far from the moment and defective. Here I enjoy the proof in this pudding as those who sling the arrows are having the boomerang effort.....or haven't you noticed? And we are asked to participate with the supportive assistance of prayer. Even Moses couldn't entirely support his own arms' lack of strength and needed that assistance. And how many ungrateful disparaged him, after all of his efforts and faithfulness, as far as his own imperfect humanity could go. So not just "rumors" in this case but lots of real time ability to observe and as a people to participate for the sake of God's blessings for the renewal of our country. In our present case, God waited until the people had had enough and called upon him more out of a kind of desperation before He offered what He knew they needed but wouldn't ask for. Or else one just looks like those old curmudgeons up in the balcony...on the Muppets....who could only gripe and throw things at those actually participating on that stage, with skin in the real game!

And for other critics here....where in the world was the Church called "devilish and evil"? All Churches amassed in the corruption of their worship of "Baal" rather than the Truth of Christ, as they each know in their hearts to be, are criticized....in fact those of the man's own familiarity get the harshest criticism, without exempting any particular denomination as somehow superior when it, in truth, also takes money from the state and then restricts itself in preaching the gospel fully for the sake of $$$. Fr. Steve Scheier's experience of that was what he frightfully learned in his own NDE....and he included his own many compadres in that evil spirit. Or did people miss that interview (among others) with Mother Angelica? I'm always far more skeptical of those who whitewash their favorite institutions they've become so secure within that they unknowingly contribute to the continuing scandals and hypocrisy....being, I'm afraid, unwittingly open to being "vomited" forth along with the corrupt leaders. And judging others who have not the background of understanding that one himself/herself is already privy to is not the gospel and becomes rather enclosed in a more personal spirituality which reacts in the same spirit as they project upon the one they criticize.

Things are getting uglier by the second,

James Comey's FBI memoir: Six claims about Trump

US President Donald Trump is seething about former FBI Director James
Comey's new memoir, which is chock-full of scathing assessments of him.

The publication likens Mr Trump to a mafia boss and details his fixation on unsubstantiated claims he consorted with prostitutes at a Moscow hotel.

But there are some parts that the president is unlikely to brand fake news.

Mr Comey says he believes Mr Trump's hair was his own and his much-mocked hands did not seem unusually small.
On Friday morning, Mr Trump launched a furious fusillade on Twitter against Mr Comey.

He branded him a "weak and untruthful slime ball" and a "proven LEAKER & LIAR", whom it was his "great honor" to fire in May last year.

    View attachment 7685

The White House and its allies have launched an all-out campaign to discredit the publication, even launching a website, lyincomey.com.

A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies & Leadership is due to be published on Tuesday, but advance copies have been obtained by US media outlets. Here is a selection of what's in it.

    'Mafia Don'

Mr Comey, who as a prosecutor earlier in his career helped break up the Gambino crime family, reportedly compares Mr Trump to a crime lord.

He writes that interactions with the president gave him "flashbacks to my earlier career as a prosecutor against the Mob".

"The silent circle of assent," he continues. "The boss in complete control. The loyalty oaths. The us-versus-them worldview.

"The lying about all things, large and small, in service to some code of loyalty that put the organisation above morality and above the truth."

Do Trump voters care about the Russia investigation?
    'Moscow prostitutes'

The former FBI boss writes that on at least four occasions Mr Trump raised the matter of unverified claims that he watched prostitutes urinate in a hotel suite during a 2013 Moscow trip.

The allegations surfaced in a raw intelligence dossier compiled by a former British spy who had been hired by Mr Trump's political enemies to dig up dirt on him.

Mr Comey says Mr Trump angrily denied the claims and asked him to have the FBI disprove them because they were "terrible" for his wife, Melania Trump.

He writes that he first broached the matter at a Trump Tower meeting in January 2017 shortly before the president's inauguration.

In an interview with ABC News to promote the book, Mr Comey said: "He interrupted very defensively and started talking about it, you know, 'Do I look like a guy who needs hookers?'

Trump's love-hate relationship with Comey over a tumultuous year

"And I assumed he was asking that rhetorically, I didn't answer that, and I just moved on and explained, 'Sir, I'm not saying that we credit this, I'm not saying we believe it. We just thought it very important that you know.'"

Mr Comey added: "I honestly never thought these words would come out of my mouth, but I don't know whether the current president of the United States was with prostitutes peeing on each other in Moscow in 2013. It's possible, but I don't know."

    Trump's 'deep insecurity'

Mr Comey notes that he never saw the president laugh, which he said was a sign of Mr Trump's "deep insecurity, his inability to be vulnerable or to risk himself by appreciating the humour of others, which, on reflection, is really very sad in a leader, and a little scary in a president".

He concludes that the president "is unethical, untethered to truth and institutional values", while his leadership is "transactional, ego driven".

    Attorney general 'overwhelmed'

Mr Comey says Attorney General Jeff Sessions was of little help to him during an Oval Office meeting in February 2017 when Mr Trump allegedly asked Mr Comey to speak privately with him.

The former FBI director has previously alleged that Mr Trump urged him to drop the investigation into national security adviser Michael Flynn, who lost his job after lying about meetings with the Russian ambassador.

Mr Comey says he afterwards confronted Mr Sessions about why he had agreed to leave, saying: "You can't be kicked out of the room so he can talk to me alone.

"You have to be between me and the president."

But Mr Comey says Mr Sessions seemed "both overwhelmed and overmatched by the job".

He "cast his eyes down at the table, and they darted quickly back and forth, side to side.

"He said nothing. I read in his posture and face a message that he would not be able to help me."

    Obama almost made Comey cry

Mr Comey was excoriated by Democrats for reopening the investigation into Hillary Clinton's emails, a decision she partly blames for her shock loss in the 2016 election.

But the FBI director says he was almost moved to tears in the aftermath of the vote by a private assurance from President Obama about his handling of the Clinton inquiry.

Mr Comey writes that the Democratic president told him in a White House meeting: "I picked you to be FBI director because of your integrity and your ability.

"I want you to know that nothing - nothing - has happened in the last year to change my view."

The FBI director says he nearly wept as he told Mr Obama: "Boy, were those words I needed to hear. I'm just trying to do the right thing."

"I know," Mr Obama said, according to Mr Comey's book. "I know."

    Trump's hair and hands

Mr Comey, who is 6ft 8in, says that when he first met the 6ft 3in president-elect he appeared shorter than he did on TV.

"His face appeared slightly orange," Mr Comey reportedly writes, "with bright white half-moons under his eyes where I assumed he placed small tanning goggles, and impressively coifed, bright blond hair, which upon close inspection looked to be all his.

"As he extended his hand, I made a mental note to check its size. It was smaller than mine, but did not seem unusually so."
