"The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their confreres...churches and altars sacked; the Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord." -Akita, October 13, 1973 https://www.ewtn.com/library/mary/akita.htm
I just read a comment on a blog, which mentions Bishop Emeritus René Henry Gracida of Texas ( who writes the blog Abyssus Abyssum Invocat / Deep Calls to Deep ) and Fr Peter Carota (who passed on in 2016, but had a blog, now maintained by Jonathan Byrd), as people who questioned whether or not Francis is an antipope. I did a quick search and found the following: Bishop Gracida posted an article by Jonathan Byrd (http://www.traditionalcatholicpriest.com/2017/09/03/the-time-has-come/) and added the following comments below it - SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION ON THIS SUBJECT BY ABYSSUM: Only God knows whether or not Francis is an Antipope. There is no doubt that he was elected a pope, but is he a pope or is he an antipope? There is doubt that his election was both valid and licit, there is good reason to believe that it was either illicit but valid or licit and invalid.(SgCatholic's emphasis) The reason for the confusion is that the Apostolic Constitution, Universi Dominici Gregis, governing papal conclaves provides for the automatic excommunication of any cardinal who participates in a conspiracy to cause or prevent the election of a cardinal. There is no doubt that Francis was party to a conspiracy to get him elected. Therefore it is a legitimate question whether or not it is possible for an excommunicated cardinal to be both licitly and validly elected pope. All of this combined with doubt about the validity of the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI justifies doubt concerning whether Francis is THE pope. There is some evidence that Benedict was forced to resign. If that is true, his resignation was invalid. The one person who could have ruled on the validity or invalidity of his resignation was the Prefect of the Apostolic Signatura who at that time was Cardinal Raymond Burke. The first act of Francis as Pope was to remove Cardinal Burke as Prefect of the Apostolic Signatura and to appoint Cardinal Pinto, a supporter of Francis. If Pope Benedict’s resignation was forced it was invalid and he is still the Pope of the Church but with the chair of Saint Peter occupied by an antipope. https://abyssum.org/2017/09/05/ther...there-is-a-time-for-every-event-under-heaven/
And then 'Fire will fall from the sky' The statue of Akita wept 101 times. We are now in the 101st year since the Fatima apparitions. I know, I'm reaching.
I would have to have time to go through all the prophesies regarding the Church and the Popes that might bear on this present time. I would particularly love to see the end point; I mean how this all works out in practice. I know of course that in the end the Immaculate Heart/ the Church/ God will Triumph ..that goes without saying. But how will this happen exactly? How exactly will Mary break Satan's Back and end all this evil? I have not read any book on the subject, or seen a video or podcast or homily anywhere? I wonder has anyone else? I know that there is a Great Pope and Monarch to come, so maybe that. We know that England is to be converted and the Jewish people to come to the Faith. So its something quite extraordinary is to happen. It seems to me also from prophesy that things are to get ,very, very much worse before they get better. I was praying to the Lord for a Sign at the week end; some kind of chink in the darkness to guide the way. I don't like doing this as it seems a little Faithless..for as Jesus said, 'This Faithless generation seeks a Sign but none will be given them...' Of course we have been given a Sign, the Queen of Prophets. But have turned our backs on her. I would say this best series of apparitions bearing on all this is Tre Fontane in Rome...the Virgin of Revelations. I must re listen to the video series from Sensum FIdelium on utube Sad times but for anyone interested in Prophesy or the Mystical really, really interesting. It reminds me of the old Chinese curse, 'May you live in interesting times'. I aslo have a prayerful feeling that all this may be in Saint Faustina's Diary..I must look it up reread it from start to finish. When I was camping I had a little prayer card with her picture and as I looked at it , it appeared to come alive and smile at me. I think this was a hint to reread her writings for this time. I must see....
I would say the way things are at the moment if you were not praying on a very, very regular strong basis you would be pretty well guaranteed to go down the tubes
Certainly then, Cardinal Burke, being present through all this and THE Canon Law expert, would have brought up these "glitches" within the process as a foundation for his other objections since that flawed beginning....esp. when the reasoning/challenges within the Dubia is going nowhere and left to sway in the breeze for lack of authoritative backing or any desire for the accepted responsibility for the official schism/split that will really start the finish....material wise. Rather, I believe the Body is currently being created (or re-created with the Holy Spirit) within the hearts of the faithful united to the Heart of Mary and within the various "cenacles" now gathered throughout the world, guided by her ongoing instructions as to the will of her Son. Very similar to the time when the Apostles waited with Her, with her encouragement, for the Gifts to begin....or to be fully realized. With all of their preparation, living with Jesus during His mission, they, at this point of seeming collapse, needed the Mother in Her specified role to bring them to this next point of living with the Spirit....or "replacement".
Blizzard, This is the same thing that we have been debating for a long time here on MOG. If this is the final trial and not the minor apostasy which is prior to a period of peace which many approved Catholic prophecies speak about then who is the Antichrist? There are no guarantees of anything but I am still in favor of all of the approved Catholic prophecies which state that there will be a minor apostasy, a period of peace, then the Antichrist/Major Apostasy and finally the Second Coming of Our Lord. If what we are witnessing is the beginning of the end of times and I think that this is the case then I would agree that we are close to the return of Our Lord but I don't believe that we are in the midst of the 3.5 year reign of the Antichrist.
Yes, I think this is true; although the term , 'Minor', is relative. In terms of what is coming the Second World War will seem like a Minor Glitch. This is not something we're going to witness on Fox News with interest; this is life and death edge of your seat stuff. Profoundly life and spiritually life changing. Far more severe, for instance than the Fall of the Roman Empire and the Dark Ages. Truly profoundly radical.
Padraig... I feel something is coming too. I think the Church is getting ready to go through that bad time we were warned about. I don't know if it will some sort of child sex scandal that is even bigger than a decade ago or what, but something is coming that is going to rock our faith in the Church. This will be the moment that many turn from it and run. I pray I am strong enough to stay on course.
I think when I see them tinkering with the Mass , Dean , in such a way that you wonder if the Holy Sacrifice is taking place then it will be time to take to the hills. In fact these Judas's have already started on this, with the 'Eucumenical Mass. ' Its really quite astonishing how evil these people are. Look at this; I doubt very much if this was a real, 'Mass', in fact I am totally sure it was not. But this took place in Turin a really major World archdiocese; with the support of the Archbishop.. they could not have an Abomination like this without the nod from Rome.
This isn't complicated; but simple common sense. If you're not in Communion with these folks, don;t pretend that you are; what could be simpler? Call a Spade a Spade. For goodness sakes.
Yes Dean. I fear this too. But let me go further with another possible scenario. Something so devilish as to literally stop breath. What if the Church (which at this point must be called the institutional Church) is unmasked along with the rest of this deep state luciferian cabal as corrupt and evil beyond measure. Every terrible tentacle of these evil hidden societies is found to be twisted right through the Vatican. A cleansing of the Church yes. But here is where my imagination reels. The Evangelical Christians who are righteously rising up to destroy these evil cabals and who have always believed that The Roman Catholic Church is Babylon will be justified in their minds in wiping out every vestige of it. They will have no understanding of the real Catholic Church, the true Catholic Church. “ leave Rome or else!” Now there is a coming persecution if you will. A society traumatized by revelations so vile about their own governments and right in the middle of it this terrible diabolical Vatican—anyone clinging to their Catholic faith will be done away with in the belief that righteousness is being restored. I hope I’m wrong. I pray I’m wrong but I can’t quite dismiss it from my mind. I read the com boxes in the alt news Q posts.
I think if ones eyes of faith are open, you can plainly see we are getting snipits or forerunners of all that is coming. We see and hear what Pope Francis is sayingand doing and not saying and doing that are things to be echoed by the False Prophet when he arrives on the scene. We are given plenty of forerunners to the Antichrist today from the sins of the world, especially in its sexual perversion and liturgical abuses taking place. God is showing us at this time what to expect if we have ears to hear and eyes to see. He does this to prepare us, strengthen us to teach us to pray for everything constantly and to not fear. Everything happening right now in the world and in the Church are forerunners to prepare us and to have oil in our lamps.
You’ve said well exactly what I’ve been thinking. Which argues strongly FOR Divine Intervention to overturn this false impression, which can only be attributed to diabolical disorientation. The WARNING comes immediately to mind...that’s the only thing that could turn back what is conjectured in your post, and the only thing that could thwart the vicious anti-Catholicism that has become part and parcel of and ingrained in QAnon devotees. The nascent anti-Catholicism of American Fundamental/Evangelical Christianity has been whipped into a fever pitch by this Vatican regime and its obvious heresies.
I know these prophecies from Anna-Katherina Emmerick have been posted before but I think they are extremely relevant in view of the state of the Church today - the similarity is uncanny. Of course I could be wrong but I strongly believe they pertain to our times. And I think the aged Holy Father mentioned is none other than good Pope Benedict (of course could be wrong again). I sometimes wonder: Sister Emmerick urges this frail Pope NOT TO LEAVE ROME. If he does, countless evils would ensue. Has that prophecy materialized already? Is it possible that the Holy Father referred to is Pope Benedict and, in a way, he HAS LEFT ROME, that is, has resigned and left the Seat of Peter? We know prophecy is often symbolic: does "leaving Rome" mean "resigning the papacy"? Or does "leaving Rome" refers to actually physically leaving the city of Rome? Or both? Anyway, his resignation HAS RESULTED IN COUNTLESS EVILS, as Sister Emmerick predicted. The destruction of the church of St Peter described, for example, could be both SPIRITUAL (first) and LITERAL (afterwards). Does the same apply to "leaving Rome"? Food for thought. https://archive.org/stream/CatholicProphecy/CatholicProphecy_djvu.txt 53.9 August 10, 1820. "I see the Holy Father in great an- guish. He lives in a palace other than before and he admits only a limited number of friends near him. I fear that the Holy Father will suffer many more trials before he dies. I see that the false church of darkness is making progress, and I see the dreadful influence it has on people. The Holy Father and the Church are verily in so great a distress that one must implore God day and night." jf 53.10 "Last night I was taken to Rome where the Holy Father, immersed in his sorrow, is still hiding to elude danger- ous demands (made upon him). He is very weak, and ex- hausted by sorrows, cares, and prayers. He can now trust but few people. That is mainly why he is hiding. But he still has with him an aged priest who has much simplicity and godli- ness. He is his friend, and because of his simplicity they did not think it would be worth removing him. But this man re- ceives many graces from God. He sees and notices a great many things which he faithfully reports to the Holy Father. It was required of me to inform him, while he was praying, of the traitors, and evil-doers who were to be found among the high-ranking servants living close to him, so that he might be made aware of it." 53.16 October 1, 1820. "The Church is in great danger. We must pray so that the Pope may not leave Rome; count- less evils would result if he did. They are now demanding something from him. The Protestant doctrine and that of the schismatic Greeks are to spread everywhere. 1 now see that in this place (Rome) the (Catholic) Church is being so cleverly undermined, that there hardly remain a hundred or so priests who have not been deceived. They all work for destruction, even the clergy. A great devastation is now near at hand." 53.17 October 4, J 820. "When I saw the Church of St. Peter in ruins, and the manner in which so many of the clergy were themselves busy at this work of destruction — none of them wishing to do it openly in front of the others — I was in such distress that I cried out to Jesus with all my might, im- ploring His mercy. Then, I saw before me the Heavenly Spouse, and He spoke to me for a long time. . . He said, among other things, that this translation of the Church from one place to another meant that she would seem to be in complete decline. But she would rise again; even if there re- mained but one Catholic, the Church would conquer again because she does not rest on human counsels and intelligence. It was also shown to me that there were almost no Christians left in the old acceptation of the word. 53.27 April 12, 1820. '\ had another vision of the great tribulation. It seems to me that a concession was demanded from the clergy which could not be granted. I saw many older priests, especially one, who wept bitterly. A few younger ones were also weeping. But others, and the lukewarm among them, readily did what was demanded. It was as if people were splitting into two camps." 53.30 April 22, 1823. "I saw that many pastors allowed themselves to be taken up with ideas that were dangerous to the Church. They were building a great, strange, and extrava- gant Church. Everyone was to be admitted in it in order to be united and have equal rights: Evangelicals, Catholics, sects of every description. Such was to be the new Church. . . But God had other designs."
And if anyone still maintains mental reservations about ACE, this should put them to rest: https://www.catholicculture.org/culture/library/view.cfm?recnum=3586
It It is hard not to draw conclusions from this. Has there been another time in church history when so many parallel points add up in her visions? It is uncanny. But it is comforting too. Particularly the words of Jesus about the resurgence of the Church even if only one Catholic remained.
