Originally published in a 1990 Special Edition by The Workers of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Lindenhurst, NY Interview with Mari Loli. October 19, 1982 Q. Do you remember what the Blessed Mother said about the communist tribulation that is to precede the Warning? A. It would look like the communists would have taken over the whole world and it would be very hard to practise the religion, for priests to say Mass or for people to open the doors of the churches. Q. Is that what you meant when you said that it would seem as though the Church had disappeared? A. Yes. Q. It would be because of the persecution and not because the people would stop practising their religion? A. Yes, but I guess a lot of people will stop. Whoever practises it will have to go into hiding. Q. Will this only be in Europe or do you think it will be here in the United States as well? A. I don't know because for me at that time, Europe was the whole world. I just assumed it was that way. The Blessed Mother didn't specify in what place. To me it looked like it was everywhere. Q. Approximately 67% of the earth s land is now dominated by communism. Do you think that's sufficient to fulfil Our Lady s prophecy? A. I really don't know. It sounded to me like it would be more than that. Q. In other words you think it will be worse than it is now? A. That's what I thought from what she said but I really don't know exactly. To me it looked like it was every place out there, the places I saw in my mind. In a lot of countries in Europe you can still practise your religion. Q. So, the situation in the world is not bad enough for the Warning to happen? A. The Warning is not going to happen yet so it's probably going to get worse. Q. You said that it would be very difficult for priests to say Mass. Was this something that the Blessed Mother told you or was it something that you thought yourself because of the communist tribulation? A. From what I remember, it was something she said. Q. And the Virgin said that it would seem as though the Church had disappeared? A. Yes. Q. Did the Blessed Mother ever say anything about the Holy Father having to leave Rome at the time of the Warning? A. No, but what it looked like to me — maybe at this time I was confusing in my mind what I was seeing and what the Blessed Mother was saying to me because it's been so many years — but what it looked like to me was that the Pope couldn't be in Rome either, you know what I mean, out in the open. He was being persecuted, too, and had to hide just like everybody else. Q. You said that when the Warning comes, the planes would stop in the air and that all engines would stop. Is this what the Blessed Mother told you? A. She said that everything, everywhere, for a moment would stop and the people would just think and look inside themselves. Q. Will there be any noise with the Warning like a wind blowing? A. The way I saw it at the time, it was more like a big silence, like a sense of emptiness. Everything was very silent. That’s the way I saw it. Q. Seven years ago you said that the Warning was soon. Many people thought it would have happened by now. What would you say today? A. It is soon. Everything looks soon to me because time goes by so fast. Q. You’re the only one who knows the year of the Warning. Did you ever tell it to anyone else, like a priest for example? A. No. Q. Will people be fighting with one another when the warning comes? A. (no answer) Interview with Mari Loli October 19, 1982 View attachment 7548
Interview with Conchita. Dr. Jeronimo Dominguez (May 1973) Doctor: Did the Virgin ever talk about the rosary? Conchita: Every time we saw the Virgin we would say the rosary with her. She taught us how to say it. Doctor: How did she teach you? Did she take the lead in praying it? Conchita:Yes, she would lead us in praying it and we would repeat her words. Doctor: Did she pray it slowly or quickly? Conchita: Slowly, very slowly. Doctor: Is that the right way to say it? Conchita: We thought it was the right way at the time. Doctor: (Showing Conchita a picture of the girls in ecstasy at the village church closed door) How come you were at the church door? Conchita: In the beginning [of the apparitions] we used to enter the church. But then because of the disturbance made by people who wanted to be first when we held out the crucifix for veneration, the bishop said we could no longer go inside while in ecstasy. From then on, the Virgin never led us inside. Doctor: You mean from then on the Virgin only led you up to the door? Conchita: Yes. Doctor: Was this her way of saying the bishop had to be obeyed? Conchita: Yes, I think it was an example of the obedience we owe to the bishop and also to each person to whom we owe obedience. Doctor: During all these spectacular events there were messages. There was one in 1961. Can you repeat what the Virgin said in that first Message? Conchita: Yes. The words of the Virgin are: "We have to do much penance and make many sacrifices. We have to visit the Blessed Sacrament often. Above all, we must be very good. The cup is already filling up. If we don't change a great punishment will come upon us." This is the way I understand it, although the Virgin didn't say it this way. With respect to penance and sacrifice, penance is what we impose on ourselves; sacrifice is giving up things as a situation suggests. For example, when a person scolds us, not to answer them back. Or if we receive a blow, to offer it to God. For me this is self imposed penance and sacrifice. Doctor: On the subject of penance and sacrifice, wasn't there an incident regarding a piece of gum? Conchita: Yes. The day of the last apparition on November 13, 1965, I had a piece of gum in my mouth. The moment I saw the Virgin, I stopped chewing it and lodged it against the inside of my cheek. But she said, "Why don't you get rid of that gum and offer it as a sacrifice for me?" [Note: In an account of this apparition much closer to the actual event itself that Conchita wrote for Father Jose Maria Alba, S.J., on December 10, 1965, the words of Our Lady are more accurately recounted: "Why don't you get rid of your chewing gum and offer it up as a sacrifice for the glory of my Son."] So I took the gum out of my mouth. I understood from this that the Virgin was not asking for big sacrifices, but small ones so that we can continually offer them out of love for Her. Doctor: So little sacrifices are good when made in the presence of God. After all, gum is not bad, right? Conchita: Not at all, but giving it up is an act of love for God. Doctor: The Virgin also said in the Message that above all we have to be good. What do you think she meant by that? Conchita: I don't know what the Virgin meant. I understand it to be a life lived moment by moment offering everything to God. Living like a Christian the way our conscience tells us is what I think She meant. Doctor: So everyone can be good. Conchita: Sure. Everyone in the practice of their religion, in their environment, in their family, their job, knows how to be good because each person has his own conscience and God speaks to each one through their conscience. Doctor: Each man and woman knows what is right or wrong whether it's here [in New York] or a little village like Garabandal. Conchita: I am sure that each person knows when they do something good or bad. Doctor: The Message then was the important thing in all these apparitions. What have you done or what have you tried to do to live the Message? Conchita: What would give the Virgin great happiness is a very difficult thing for me. That is to live each moment of the day doing everything for God. Doctor: Do you think you and I are living the Message? Conchita: I think I am, but you have to answer for yourself. Doctor: You work as a nurse. [Note: At the time of this interview, Conchita was a nurse in Dr. Dominguez's clinic in New York.] Do you fulfill the Message in that capacity and if so how? Conchita: I try to by doing my work to the best of my abilities and by treating the patients the way I should. Doctor: How about a housewife with three or four children who is busy all day? Can she fulfill the Message? Conchita: Surely, according to the perfection in which she accomplishes her duties offering all her actions to God. Doctor: Offering to God all the little things she does during the day. So it's not what you do but how you do it. Conchita: How you do it, that is true. Doctor: How about a person working in an office? Conchita: You can fulfill the Message anywhere. You can always be good and offer praise to God. Doctor: One of the things you have done in New York is give out scapulars. Why do you do that? Do you like giving out scapulars in the office and on the streets? Conchita: Ever since I was a little girl I've worn the scapular. It's a devotion my mother taught me. But more than that, I wear it because whenever the Virgin appeared, She had the scapular on her wrist. Doctor: All that you have said so far deals with the first Message. Wasn't there another Message on June 18, 1965? Can you tell us about that one? Conchita: Certainly. The Virgin's Message delivered by Saint Michael said: "Because my Message of October 18, 1961, had not been fulfilled and that the world didn't know about it, I'm telling you that this is the last one. Before the cup was filling up. Now it is flowing over. Many priests, bishops and cardinals are on the road to perdition and are taking many souls with them. Each day less and less importance is being given to the Eucharist. You should use all your efforts to avoid God's wrath. If you sincerely ask for pardon, He will forgive you. I your mother, through the mediation of Saint Michael the Archangel, ask you to correct your ways. You should sacrifice more. Think of the passion of Jesus.” Doctor: What do you think about the statement that cardinals, bishops and priests are on the road to perdition? Conchita: I think every day the Virgin appeared She mentioned priests and that we should pray for them. We never understood why. For us priests were like saints because we never had many come to our village. It was considered a privilege whenever one came. Regarding bishops and cardinals, we thought it very strange, but we would repeat it the way She said it. Doctor: (Showing Conchita a picture of her receiving Communion from Saint Michael) Here you are, but we are not able to see the Host. The angel brought you Communion many times, isn't that right? Do you remember how many times? Conchita: Not that many, maybe forty times. Usually there was a priest in the village and the angel only gave us Communion when there was no priest. Regarding Communion, the Virgin taught us the value and the importance of the Eucharist. After the apparitions started, we never missed a day without receiving. Doctor: Since only priests can consecrate, did you ever ask the Virgin where the angel got the Hosts? Conchita: Yes, we did ask because a priest told us to. The Virgin said that the angel took the already-consecrated Hosts from tabernacles on earth. Interview with Conchita by Dr. Jeronimo Dominguez in May 1973 GARABANDAL JOURNAL, January-February 2004

The "Symbolic" Baptism of Muriel Catherine (From the book GARABANDAL - by Jacques Serre) Muriel Catherine, a nineteen-year-old woman from Paris, of a Jewish father and a Protestant mother, was practicing no religion when she met Ascension de Luis from Burgos. The latter taught her a few rudimentary notions of the Catholic faith. The two friends went up to Garabandal on Monday, August 28,1961 Feast of St. Augustine, the most famous convert in the Church history, except St. Paul. At about 0:30 a.m., on August 29, they attended an ecstasy of Mari-Loli and Jacinta, who spoke about Muriel to their Vision. The visionaries then exclaimed: "She is not baptized! She is not baptized! . . . Come, let's help her . . . Ah, because of her parents! . . . " Loli suddenly stretched out her arm, and grasped a bottle of holy water that a priest had given her to throw towards the apparition as a "test". The girl opened the bottle and threw the contents upwards, in front of her. But instead of following its normal course, the water mysteriously bent its path, and in its inexplicable trajectory, fell as a little shower on Muriel! Muriel already had faith. But to be baptized, she had to wait until she came of age, the parents being opposed to her initiative. She was baptized in the cathedral of Burgos, at twenty-one years of age, on October 20, 1963, under the name of Maria del Carmen Catherine.Muriel represents the first of three cases of a typical "conversion" linked directly to Garabandal. The two other cases are those of Maximo Foerschler, an Evangelist and of Barbara Painter, an Anglican Protestant. Maria del Camen Catherine's first Communion.

MARCH 19,1962 Mari-Loli ,in ecstasy, addressed the following short word to Fr. Jose Silva, who had just gone up to the village for the first time: “ The Blessed Virgin wishes a happy birthday to Padre Jose “. This happened when no one had recognized the priest “dressed in lay clothes “. “Garabandal” p. 125
TODAY MARCH 19TH IS THE FEAST OF ST. JOSEPH. When Mary was asked who is the Greatest Saint in heaven ?, she responded. In response to Don Valentin Marichalar's questions, the visionaries learned from the Blessed Virgin that St. Joseph is "the greatest of all the Saints." [Excerpted from 'Garabandal' Book, page 100]
CONFESSION At Garabandal the Blessed Virgin reinforced the importance of personal confession. When interviewed in April of 1983, visionary Jacinta Moynihan was asked: "Did the Blessed Virgin ever speak to you about the Sacrament of Reconciliation?" She replied: "Yes she did. Now there are people who want to do away with it, but the Virgin said it was “muy importante“ — “very important. Padre Pio attached enormous importance to the frequent reception of the sacrament of confession. He used to say, “Confession is the soul’s bath. Even if a room is sealed off completely, dust will still accumulate in it.” Padre Pio practiced what he advocated to others. He went to confession frequently. He suggested a weekly confession. Before making his confession, he prayed deeply and sought the intercession of the Virgin Mary. At age 16 Conchita was already was spiritually wise: "There is no point in our believing in the apparitions if we do not heed the message." (Star on the Mountain, p. 118 ) “To guess at dates regarding the [prophesied] Miracle shows a lack of faith in the Blessed Virgin .Indeed, the energies expended on this are so much better spent on living the Message! “ March 2013 Glenn’s conversation with Conchita With all of the arguing over which of the different visionary’s is right, predicting dates, the future of our Pope, the direction of the church, I've learned one thing, its all distracting, and detracting from our spiritual goals. The best advice I ever got was from Conchita ( when I asked her about the direction of all these things) ,she talked about maintaining your spiritual life (Confession, penance ,mass, communion, the rosary, etc. ) and she said " I surround my self with good people, pray and don't worry " . ( Sounds like she took the advice of her friend Padre Pio )
“BLESSINGS” Joey’s greatest blessing. I was accompanying Joey Lomangino on a flight down to Alabama to appear again on EWTN’s Mother Angelica LIVE show in 1996. While on the flight down, we always had wonderful personal conversations. This one day, we were discussing how we originally met, and what a great blessing it was for me, and I asked him “ What was your greatest blessing ? “ Now I expected one of several answers, ( his family, his Apostolate work, Confession with Padre Pio, Padre Pio restoring his sense of smell, meeting and being friends with Conchita, etc. ) His answer shocked me ! He said while he had many blessings , “ Being blind “. I said “ really, how’s that ? “ He went on ” because if I never had been blind, I never would have been saved”. It was his blindness that led to his spiritual sight and salvation . Padre Pio told Joey : “I can’t give him sight for his eyes, but I can give him sight for his soul.” Can any of us ( who are sighted now ,as he once was sighted as a boy ) endure that suffering of having lost our eyesight, consider it a "blessing " ? Wow, how insightful.
I just came across a great find on the Internet of some articles written by Yves Dupont and other various authors who wrote articles about Catholic prophecies for a publication called World Trends in the 1960's and 1970's. It also includes Dupont's book Catholic Prophecy, The Coming Chastisement. Yves Dupont's articles from 1967 and 1970 about Garabandal are on pages 68-80 and he defends the apparition! https://documents.tips/documents/yves-duponts-commentaries-on-private-prophecy.html
Watch how the girls would walk at night, not only through the town without looking where they are stepping, but more impressive was the ecstatic walks at night through the rocky cow paths, never falling, or being injured.

WHEN WILL THE WARNING HAPPEN AND WHAT WILL HAPPEN ? We were not given the exact time / date ,but we were given 3 clues as to when the Warning is approaching soon. The three clues were a Synod, “when Communism comes again “and the global effects of Communism, especially religious persecution, and lastly the Pope returning from a visit to Moscow, Russia (and hostilities breaking out in Europe ). The Warning itself will begin with a event in the sky, in which Conchita describes as " like two stars colliding", ( that does not mean 2 Stars will actually collide, because she also said nothing will fall to earth ) and then you will experience a revelation of all your sins and you will see the gravity of all your sins as God sees them, the effects on those you have harmed, and sins of omission, as God sees it. Now the first thing people say to me is “ but I confessed my sins, those won’t be shown because I’m forgiven those”. Well, here’s a news flash you ,Conchita said “ All Sins”, and you WILL be shown those for the educational purpose of revealing the gravity of offense God feels when you commit them . This is not about forgiveness, it is about educating you ! There is not a person on earth (unless God has already given them this revelation ) that can describe how God feels when we sin, we just don’t know , and that is why this “Warning” is such a blessing, and not a punishment ! Imagine, YOU will know something that only God knew all this time, to have a fraction of his knowledge about the true effects of sin on your soul ! WOW, buckle up, it may be a bumpy ride.
GARABANDAL: THE WARNING This short 2 minute video will give you an explanation of what the “ Warning “ is, as revealed to Conchita and Mari Loli, by our Blessed Mother.
