I wanted to make a pie for "pi" day for the people at work. I wound up making a peach cobbler, and told everyone that it looked like a cobbler, but it self-identified as a pie.

It's almost impossible to believe what is presented in the news and what is stated by gov't officials. There is such a huge chess game going on and few are truly honest. We are being played more often than we are spoken truthfully to.

Evidence of "White helmets" fabricating events in Syria. This is the type of bogus stuff that counties use to justify military action against countries. Sad and pathetic really.

It is an open question whether Russia really is behind it and what benefit the Russians would have from it. But i think nobody will say that the coverage on our western side is neutral. No matter what happens the russians are responsible.
I do not want to judge the USA, but neither Germany nor France are Christian forces.
This media and political double standards are really hard to bear.

U.N. Palestinian refugee agency gets new cash pledges, needs much more to survive
    March 15, 2018 Crispian Balmer https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...dges-needs-much-more-to-survive-idUSKCN1GR1ZQ

ROME (Reuters) - The United Nations agency that helps Palestinian refugees said on Thursday it had received new cash pledges to enable it to keep working for a few more months, but warned its long-term outlook remains in doubt.

The U.N. Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) is looking to cover an estimated $446 million budget shortfall that was largely caused by President Donald Trump’s abrupt decision in January to effectively freeze U.S. aid to the Palestinians.

A donors’ conference in Rome drew promises from countries around the world of additional funds of some $100 million, leaving UNWRA with a uphill task to keep its core education, healthcare and food security services afloat.

“A very important first stop was reached today, but a long way is in front of us,” U.N. Secretary General Antonio Guterres told reporters after the meeting.

“If UNWRA did not exist, if its services were not provided, the security of the region would be undermined,” he added.

Washington donates about $350 million a year to UNRWA, which was founded in 1949 to aid Palestinian refugees, but so far this year has handed over $60 million. U.N. officials fear they might not receive any more from the United States in 2018.

Trump said in January the United States would only give aid if the Palestinians agreed to renew peace talks with Israel. The talks have been frozen since 2014, and with no negotiations in sight, envoys from around 70 countries and organizations met in Rome to discuss the funding crisis.

Going into the meeting, UNRWA Commissioner-General Pierre Krähenbühl had warned his organization would run out of funds in May. The new pledges gave the agency a bit more breathing room.

“It will last us a couple of months more into the middle or beginning of the summer,” he said. “We need to be optimistic.”

Among the countries that had offered more money were France, Qatar, Canada, Switzerland, Turkey, New Zealand, Norway, South Korea, Mexico, South Korea, Slovakia and India, he said, without giving any further details.

    HUMANITARIAN CRISIS

UNRWA operates in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, in Gaza, Syria, Lebanon and Jordan. It runs 710 schools, its doctors carry out a total 9 million consultancies a year and it feeds some 1.7 million people – mostly in the Gaza Strip.

Palestinians say funding cuts would especially impact Gaza, an impoverished, Islamist-ruled enclave blockaded by Israel and Egypt where half of its 2 million population rely on humanitarian aid and where the jobless rate is 46 percent.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has voiced measured support for the U.S. fund cut, but also appeared to acknowledge it could leave Israel - which maintains tight restrictions on the movement of people and goods across the Gaza border – facing a potential humanitarian crisis on its doorstep.

A diplomat in Rome, who declined to be named, warned that UNRWA’s woes could persuade hundreds of thousands of Palestinians to try to come to Europe, possibly exacerbating the EU immigration crisis.

The United States has traditionally provided around 30 percent of UNRWA’s funding, helping to cement Washington’s predominant role as the chief negotiator between the Palestinians and Israelis.

Since taking office last year, Trump has keenly embraced Israel, delighting Netanyahu by pledging to move the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, angering Palestinians who want to share the city with the Israelis as their future capital.

By contrast, in a tweet in January, Trump accused the Palestinians of showing “no appreciation or respect” and criticized them for shunning peace talks.

The Palestinians have said negotiations are pointless until Israel halts building Jewish settlements on occupied territory. Netanyahu has said talks should resume without preconditions.

I'm with you Steve. I'm afraid I don't trust any of these governments. There is s concerted effort to demonize Russia in the Western press. Very easy for British intelligence to false flag this and make it look like Putin's work.

...I don't know what category this falls under, and I'm sure I'm posting because it's cathartic. But having just read another account from an abortionist on what they do (on SpiritDaily's page), I'm having a very hard time grasping how the Good Lord is letting this barbaric procedure continue. And the abortionists seem to have no conscience...at all. Meanwhile, madness and right is wrong and wrong is right seem to be reigning supreme in politics, as anyone or any group who isn't part of the progressive, PC ideology is demonized and silenced. This is going on at schools, on the computer and certainly in the media and DC. I've made "PLEASE come soon, Lord", my main prayer, daily.....often hourly, as I find the madness almost insurmountable and nearly impossible to cope with. And I pray He does come soon.

Mark I totally get where you are. I go in and out of it. I find if I withdraw from media information and simply feed my mind with prayers and Christ centered material I can find that Peace Our Lord promises. These things are happening because of sin’s “ fullness of time”. It has reached critical mass. In a sense we are all standing at the foot of the Cross with Mary wondering why God allows such horror. But we never see the whole picture. That is where really muscular faith is required. Hang in there. Mary is standing right beside you. God bless.

I have found it increasingly difficult to pray for the enemy. I even reviewed agape again, and still find it hard to pray for some individuals.

Sometimes we have to cut and run :D
    I just keep trying
I find that it comes and goes
It is only through grace that we can forgive and pray for our enemies anyway
I find that it is a process
    Sometimes I don’t succeed
    Sometimes I do
    Glad you brought this up

read the thread on Divine Will particularly the final posts copied from Pelianito's site. I find that praying in the Divine Will is the aantidote to all the vileness and horror of sin that is engulfing the world.

All Major Intelligence Agencies kill people, including the British (also using chemicals). It is the way of the world. The Russian are just particularly determined in this. Putin is ex KGB of course. One of their own, a big time traitor was always marked for death. It is very ,very difficult for the British Secret Service to operate in Russia or they would have done the same to their own. The FSB were clever enough to spray the daughters clothes with nerve agent whilst she was in Moscow.

They are all killers, some worse than others and better at it; but they all kill.
No secular power of any weight would long survive in this world if it did not kill people; they do so in times of war and they so in times of peace. When Jesus said the devil is prince of this world He knew what He was talking about.

I am afraid when people think, 'My Government is better than all the rest', they delude themselves. They will all do whatever it takes when the time comes.

This is why the Church has always so wisely warned people not to involve themselves in Secret Organisations.

yes. Sadly it is true I believe. Very little difference between the so called good guys and the bad guys. It leaves us wondering just who ARE the good guys? This is why I read only enough news to know what to pray about. Otherwise I would have news whiplash:eek: spinning me in ten directions.

I think people who do not believe in God will ,very sadly believe in anything. People need their own country is the , 'Good guy'. So they do. Their Government becomes their God.
