You're certainly not off your head. Such a radical turning of her coat implies that she was either dishonest in the manner that she originally presented herself or else something very profound has impelled her to completely reverse her position. Such treason has one of two causes, the carrot or the stick. To think I used to believe that she was a great improvement on Mary Robinson. While I would be no admirer of the latter, she has certainly been much more honest in her dealings than McAleese. Goodness, old Michael D. doesn't seem too bad, at all, now! Exposure may not happen in this world. Such people seem to usually appear to live and die in glory and worldly adulation, although their inner thoughts and feelings might be less complacent. However, the Day of Judgement is something they will not be able to avoid. There'll be hard questions, then. What a day that will be.
You know we're all 'in for it' someday with these views! That said, perhaps to voice them now will open the eyes of others. Though it's not often easy, in certain company. I mentioned previously that my family members are Sinn Fein voters. Sinn Fein I happen to feel have been taken over by Soros' money or equivalent (and as a result are actively pedalling evil now). But Without my extremely dissenting voice, they (family members) would follow the shinners blindly into the killing of our babies in the name of Irish republicanism. There's nothing more absurd! Is this what Connolly and Pearce fought for? They must be distraught, wherever they are!
I am happy with women in the Church adopting senior administrative roles. For instance controlling sexual abuse. I suspect since many senior prelates are active sexual perverts themselves a cover up is inevitable. Since many of them are also thieves on a staggering scale and totally corrupt bringing in women as a fresh pair of hands to do a clean up on the money scene would be truly excellent as they would not be corrupt..at least right away. Also women coming in would break up the gay mafia running things. I may be prejudiced though. I like women a lot and get on well with them. Most of the people I work with are women.
you know time that the likes of her not going say her name should be excommunicated for what she said today on the spot what she said on abortion straight away no messing the snow was the second warning for Ireland and the storm Ophelia was the first warning , my guess is an earthquake country wide or a drought it all as the next warnings all or nothing now with the abortion once its in say goodbye there going get in even if they have to fix it you can see there agenda.
She should be excommunicated on the spot. But I would say her views are a lot closer to the views of the Holy Fathers than ours are, A whole lot closer.
I read somewhere that her son is a homosexual and that's why she started promoting gay marriage. To my eternal shame and regret, I actually voted for her. I took a turn against her when I saw her interviewed on the Late Late Show. She had met Pope St. John Paul when he was in the advanced stage of his illness. Her description of that meeting sickened my stomach. Her disdain for him was blatant. As to Masonic links, we will never know. The Anglicans have given her and some Jesuit some kind of role in St. Patrick's Cathedral. (There's always a Jesuit link where high profile dissent from Church teaching is concerned). Don't be fooled by all that stuff about the Vatican banning the conference because she was a speaker. The Jesuits hosted the conference in their HQ next door to the Vatican - a building which is officially part of Vatican territory although not within Vatican walls. With the current climate in the Church, that speech of hers supposedly containing criticism of the Pope could be a ready-up. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see her appointed one of the first female Cardinals, with the surrounding publicity showing how the Pope was willing to appoint women who voiced criticism against him. Things are not always what they seem - more so nowadays than ever in the past. Incidentally, now that Sinn Fein are in lockstep with Soros and his globalist agenda, will A Nation Once Again be dropped from their repertoire of ballads?
Cardinal Burke, Bishop Schneider , the bishops of SSPX ,and the other very few orthodox bishops should be prayed for by us all. It may be down to men such as these as to whether or not our beloved One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church lives or dies.
The Church won't die. It will go through some hard times. Pope Francis can't change Church teaching. Aware of that, every change he makes is passed off under the heading of discipline. Despite what his mouthpieces claim, disciplinary changes can be reversed. They appear to be relying on the likelihood that once changes become entrenched future Popes won't risk the upheaval and likely schism caused by any attempt to reverse them. Remember what the German Bishops said about not being subject to Rome. They are more likely to take their Church tax and go independent rather than submit to a reversal of the changes they have spent decades lobbying for.
You are right, Our Lord promised that hell would not prevail against the church. My hunch is that eventually the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church will be reduced to a small remnant of faithful Catholics before Christs return.
For those of you attending the Rally in Dublin tomorrow, I received a message (some of you might have got it as well) to say that there will be a large group of people praying at the BACK of the rally as we walk along, carrying banners of Our Lady and the Holy Face, and they are asking people to join them. I think I will walk with that group.
I will be praying for all the marchers tomorrow. I was hoping to attend however my husband and I need to visit his parents as we were prevented from seeing them last weekend due to the snow! I am quite sure it will be a great success. I particularly look forward to hearing directly from those who participate as I do not trust the media to report it accurately!
I think I will too. \So long as that is where the fiercest fighting with the murder the babies crowd will be
Yes! They say 100,000 people marched! I watched the live Twitter feed - there were so many young people there (And very few opponents bothered to show up it seems) I feel so hopeful for our country!!
I am so happy to hear this. I along with many others prayed for all of you and for Ireland at Mass this morning. Wonderful witness to have so many show up for the March.
