Looking at the map that they used of the USA with the arrow going from Alaska to Florida, I had a quick flash back to the path of the solar eclipse this past August. Yes indeed. We had a very small quake nearby last night. I was up late because I could not sleep and something in my utility room came crashing down which was odd. My attack cat was on duty and stationed himself outside the door as I checked to see what the ruckus was about. I remembered of course the quake in Alaska and figured we will see some small ones up and down the coast over the next week or so hopefully letting off pressure. Turned out it was a 2.4 but shallow and centered about 8 miles or so as the crow flies away from us.
That is interesting. The US has a large plate in the center which most shockwaves travel around as the pressure moves from the west coast down into mexico and up through the gulf states. Thanks for posting this, I wonder if it is related or completely separate affair.

To believe any of that, you would have to believe that people in the security forces were careless enough to send each other text messages about committing serious crimes including treason. Maybe so, Brian, but I seriously doubt it. There's no doubt that people in the FBI were vehemently opposed to Trump and let their bias influence them in performing their duties. It is more than possible that they went looking for ways to discredit him with the objective of undermining his presidency, leading to his impeachment. Those people should never have been involved in any investigation of either Clinton or Trump but that's about the extent of it. There's nothing new about politicians being dodgy or even corrupt and there's nothing new about the rich and powerful being evil and getting away with it. I just think that that guy is coming up with 22 when he adds 2+2.
I'm not sure of your nationality; I will say as an American, that you have either not thought things through or that you have absolutely NO idea of what was happening in America in the months leading up to the election. I, for one, criticize any Catholic who voted for or supported Clinton. Be advised, that Clinton actively courted Planned Parenthood, would appear at political events with the president of PP, and did everything but declare that the Democrat Party was the political wing of PP. At one of these events, Clinton stood up and declared that those people opposing the progressive agenda (including the goals of PP) were (in her words) "deplorable." Imagine that. Almost half of the population of the nation she wants to lead are deplorable. What's more, her followers also believe that those who oppose them are deplorable. If she were elected do you honestly think that those people (including many Christians) who are deplorable would NOT eventually have their opinions, their faith, suppressed because those opinions and that faith are "hateful" and "offensive"? To give you an idea of what was going around the country, one of my daughters, who was a Clinton supporter, told me after the election that she was terrified. Based on her sources, the opinions that she listened to and read, she knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that rape was going to be permitted as a way to control "uppity women." Clinton spoke as part of a UN day of women (can't remember the exact title) where she stated a number of attitudes that needed to be changed. One of the attitudes to be changed included "reproductive rights". Now, Snopes.com is a very popular web site that people turn to in order to find the truth about rumors that circulate through the internet, and people were asking if Clinton had said that people needed to change their views on abortion. Snopes said "no", which was technically true. Yet I challenge you to find a case where "reproductive rights" did not include abortion. So even the truth-tellers have begun to warp the meanings of words. We have a number of cases to be argued before our Supreme Court that involve some fundamental rights: does an artist have the right to refuse to use his or her art to promote a view they oppose, or does the government have the right to compel them to promote this view because refusing to do so is discrimination? Specifically, can the government compel cake decorators to decorate cakes for same-sex marriages regardless of their views? We've long held that the government cannot compel speech, however, for some reason homosexuality is so vital to the future of the American nation that to allow people to oppose it would be devastating. Such views and the people who hold them are, shall we say, deplorable. Trump nominated a Supreme Court judge that may keep that freedom of speech still alive, and in fact may result in the reversal of the Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion in America. I'm not a Trump fan. I had been one of those anyone-but-Trump people. But I also believe that if Clinton had been elected, then at the end of 8 years, there would be a very strong possibility that I would be crushed under a massive fine imposed on me for my hate speech, viz. my opposition to abortion and homosexuality. Are you still ready to criticize us for making this choice?
