Actually, I don't think Malachi & Denise, that it is a funny comment. It's not helpful to the new member, Cynthia. Let's just move on and try to comment only constructively.

So then, again, people may breath a sigh of relief rather than perhaps seeing such things as warnings while still within the time of Mercy. Just how many signs can be given.....without much change happening within.....before the real wake up calls come closer to home??

2 million miles away is now a close miss? CNN made a big deal of this during the silly 3 day shutdown

  6. And she actually wants people to believe that somehow she doesn't understand just why people are becoming "polarized"? That's just what the NWO adherents want to happen.....create chaos so that those "pesky" patriot types can be rounded up....all over the world. They are creating events that force sides to identify themselves in order to subjugate those on the side of the natural law and order.

German leader Merkel says the current world order is under threat

    ....
"Frankly speaking, the country I have the honor to represent and where I am chancellor has difficulties. And polarization is something that we see in our country as well, which we haven't had for decades," Merkel said.

She attributed increasing populism and polarization to both the euro zone crisis and migration crisis seen in Europe over the last few years following an influx of refugees, but said Germany would not shrink from the world stage.

......(latest talking points by the NWO folks)
"Germany wishes to be a country that lends its contribution in the future to solve the problems of the world together, we think that shutting ourselves off and isolating ourselves will not lead us into a good future. Protectionism is not the proper answer," she said.

Merkel is just the latest leader at Davos to criticize a protectionist and isolationist stance towards the world's problems. Such comments appear to be directed towards President Donald Trump who has adopted an "America First" stance in his foreign and economic policies.

  7. Well, part of it is continuing distraction via NASA of what more "unexplainable" things are suddenly occurring rather unexpectedly.....and the reason behind those things.

I can't speak for the rest of Ya'll but I'm thinking that Merkel, Soros and the Global Elite Left can take their NWO and stick it where the Sun don't shine!!

  10. I didn't *insult* any Christian who voted for Trump, I *criticized* them and the choice that they made. It is very difficult to "ease gently" into a conversation when people do not distinguish between criticism and insults, and between disagreeing and being disagreeable.

Can you guys agree to disagree. I am a big supporter of Trumps Laws myself and I believe he is standing with the people. Lets end the bickering though.

  13. Garabandal..... does that make this an ultra liberal forum?
I only complained about the bullies here after being called names by you "liberals".
   ;)

  14. And Garabandal - when did social justice become a bad thing?
Jesus was all for it - read the Beatitudes- but you and others here use the term like it's a perjorative!
Just because a bunch of Washington atheists are ALSO in favor of social justice doesn't suddenly turn a GOOD thing (social justice) into a BAD thing - if that were so, being Pro Life would be a bad thing too, because a certain Bad Man whose name rhymes with "dump" claims to be in favor of it.
Remember the words of Jesus, that Josephite quoted here last night, on "The Two Popes" -
49 John spoke up. 'Master,' he said, 'we saw someone driving out devils in your name, and because he is not with us we tried to stop him.'

50 But Jesus said to him, 'You must not stop him: anyone who is not against you is for you.'

In other words, Good Things, such as Social Justice and the Pro Life Movement, do not suddenly become Bad Things when secular and often evil men and women use them to further their own ends and garner votes at election time. If that were the case, the Devil would be stronger than God, may heaven forbid!

Can you please end this now.

BrianK and Cynthia Raenette Gee like this.
  16. Gene, that would be correct.

  17. If you like. But the point is an important one, and is not limited to the venue of politics - if a Good Thing is rendered evil because some bad men support it, then evil is able to vanquish Goodness, God forbid!

    Abortion is evil.

The church has always had a love for the poor. But poverty in an of itself is not an evil for the 'poor you will always have with you'.

    Here is an analogy:

If a house in poor repair, with broken windows, busted pipes and rotten wood, were to catch fire, what issue should the home owner attend to first? Obviously, the homeowner would put out the fire first because it is the most critical issue. The other issues are also important, but don't carry the same weight.

It is the same with abortion and issues of social justice. Abortion (which is represented by the fire in this analogy) is the preeminent issue that we at Catholics confront and will remain so until it is abolished.
