I am sure President Trump has faults, flaws, imperfections and failings as do we all. He is human at the end of the day. I am sure he has had sins in his past, again as do we all. It doesn’t matter in a sense whether he is Catholic, Methodist, baptist, episcopalian or whatever. God sees the heart. God can use imperfect people to achieve great good. Think of David, Saul, Peter etc. All were flawed to some extent, some having committed great sins. But sins can be committed not necessarily out of malice or a decision in favour of evil, but due to youth, ignorance or weakness or what have you. God sees the heart. If a person is fundamentally oriented to good then God can use this person. The level of hatred and venom directed at President Trump tells me that he is definitely on the side of the Angels, and his election and presidency has seriously disrupted the plans of the evil one and his human agents.
