Evil Empire or Russia Consecrated?

There must have been a better way to protect the Holy Land than destroying most of the Middle East and its Christians.

 

Politics always have the potential to polarize and to emotionalise. The attempt to bring our personal analysis of political events and thoughts about prophecies together should not lead us to a hard discussion. We are all united through our Catholic faith.

I don't think that the protection of the Holy Land was the real intention, merely the stated goal. The old rope a dope.

 

Thank you for the article Jack, I think many here have long known that these powers and principalities have influenced and influenced control over a great many things and led the world into great upheaval and suffering because so many have turned away from God.

 

Which facts do you dispute within the article itself re: the events reported upon in the link? I don't necessarily rely on an a priori judgement particularly held by the general public IF there are facts reported upon in other places as well. I figure, as we are seeing within our own mainstream's backfiring from their own reporting, that, even if unconsciously, a blind hog finds an acorn now and then. Much is missed otherwise! And Drudge offers a diverse grouping of info sources.....even when there is the expectation of automatic knee jerk responses to the source, the facts remain and perhaps aren't reported elsewhere. Don't throw out the baby with the bathwater! The idioms just seem to keep coming this morning!

Anyway, I probably wont win any friends with this opinion but I believe that masonry, Protestantism, and being given over to our sins has more to do with all of this than anything.
Many Americans have exchanged the truth for a lie. It's what happens when we give in to our sins and God lets us go our way. I've been praying for a long time that the Truth would be revealed especially to us here in the US. I whole heartedly believe that only through God's Mercy and Grace will this be possible.

You are right. The great American people - the people of that great country, are being sold lies on a grand scale.
It is not my intention to put-down your great country. But there really needs to be some form of scrutiny by the American people. Looking in from afar it seems you have been let down by those leaders.
The very fact that Mr Trump is ostracized by the media gives hope.

Too late for Iraq, Syria, Libya, Afghanistan etc. But the world still needs America. The world needs a fair and just America. Please get it back. To continue to follow like sheep on this awful course tjat your country has chosen is not helpful to the world.

Many are trying Jack. People are awakening to the very things you spoke about and I am praying that we do not fall into the pitfalls of nationalism and hatred of foreigners in the process. There is a concerted effort to steer people this way and I hope that in Gods Mercy and Grace he removes the scales from our collective eyes to see the Truth.
We are all lied to collectively, all over the world. It's just that America has such a great responsibility to get it right. Because when we get it wrong it is far reaching.

Biased press? You're kidding! Ha! Thought I explained the reasoning beyond disliked or distrusted sources....but the fact finding that ought to be applied to even your choices for eternal accuracies. I know, I know.... Drudge then must also not to be trusted in that basic fact finding, rather than sources, since he's also so naive in his unlimited experience of reportage!!! And to be honest I'm a little lost as to what the response/question is..

How can one give credibility to the merits of the story when the press are liars. Who knows what of the story is true or false or imagined? Who can say?

That said it seems that what youre saying is that it is okay to cherry-pick what you want to believe or disbelieve from the press?

Some of it is okay / some not okay? I think that is naive in the extreme.
America is being lied to on a massive scale. Your press lies recurrently - as does then press the world over.

But let me give you 2 scenarios:

Russian jet flies near British airspace.
American response: outrage...

American agents fly drones (from pods somewhere in nebraska) that shoot rockets into innocent civilians.
American reaponse: silence....

Wake up America! We need you back.

 

And just who are your sources for such fact reporting And I don't think we need the recent past America back at all. Why those corrupt systems of recent past are now being exposed....for the better hopefully. It's rather delightful watching the Trump boomerang effect occurring as each day passes. Didn't pull up this article any more than I've offered other articles on other threads. They happen to be in the news....again, the facts of the day.....it IS occurring. Since it was something that pertained to this particular thread I offered it. And I would say that obviously Mr. Putin was "accepting" such behavior re: this particular "Empire" up until those particular oligarchs involved are being exposed. I suppose the "take" from such is endangered.

You have a difference of opinion about such corrupt individuals still attached to their dear leader....it's always a bit disheartening to realize all men have feet of clay.....so I'm glad to hear it. No need to be upset with me. I'm harmless. I take it that you are then against a NWO kind of "unipolar world" of your description. Good. So am I. We should each strive for our country to fulfill the role designed for it in the Divine Will. What we see happening now to these "deep states" being exposed and finally a purification beginning, I think we're beginning to be on the right track, these days of this particular time.

And also, I would just like to have more of an exact positioning of where in Nebraska in particular those drones were photographed. So far it appears that the drones that recently upset Mr. Putin's settled position in Syria have as yet to have their origin identified. Everything is very confusing these days for most. Why the helps from heaven are increasing. "In the end" things will change.....in Fatima we have that promise.

1. The article you quoted from the Daily Star is not an unusual story. It was hype; by a newspaper that bases the very vast majority of its stories on scandal. Bottom line: The jets at no point entered UK airspace.
2. Why would you think that i am upset with you? As you may have noticed I adore a good healthy debate. And why would you feel the need to state that you are harmless; I'm harmless too. I would like to think that everyone that contributes here to this wonderful site is harmless.
3. I disagree that countries are on the right track. Mine is presently attempting to introduce abortion on demand. Yours butchers its innocents by the million. And anyone who stands in the way of the butchery gets annilated. Take for example that poor fella and his girlfriend who exposed Planned Parenthood. How'd they fare?
Take Julian Assange, the Swede, who exposed governments dirty double dealing; how'd he fare?
4. "nebraska' was a euphemism for the fact that there are units/pods/control centres all over America that house agents who control drones. These drones are flown all over the middle East. They fire rockets at innocent civilians and maim and murder innocent people - IN YOUR NAME. And you do nothing. Is that because you get to decide who lives and who dies? Is it because you decide which country is guilty. Perhaps it is because you are harmless? I really dont know. What I do know however is that you show little concern for the purpose of these drones. You show little concern for what they do.
And you seem to revel in the idea that the drones annoy Mr Putin.

The entire West has become a largely pagan culture. Definitely post-Christian. That is the one thing Obama was right about America. We are not a Christian nation any longer. I would say the same can be said for any of the once Christian Western nations. We all share the same roots and have developed in similar fashion. America has definitely been the flag bearer all in the name of "freedom", but all nations share the responsibility.

Russia is no angel either. The are a strong-arm government headed towards a full-blown dictatorship. But so what? Throughout history the Russian people have often favored a heavy handed governmental style. It is a cultural preference. The same way that Muslim countries often favor governments with a strong religious streak. It doesn't mean they want to live under a Stalin-type, but they enjoy the security in a way that Westerners do not understand. Read some of Stephen Cohen's work on that and you will see.

The big advantage Russia has though is that they are just about the only government in the world promoting Christianity. The blue in their flag is in honor of Our Lady. What other nation can say anything close to that? Granted it is not Catholicism (yet ) but it is worlds better than the apostate-pagan-evil cultures most of us in the West live in. They are at least in some way attempting to cooperate with God even if it is still in a very flawed way.

On the down side they are also making very militarily provocative moves. I have no problem with them claiming Crimea (which is mostly Russian anyway) or even staging large scale wargames on their borders to flex their muscle in an attempt to reclaim some national prestige that they deserve. I do however think it is quite dangerous the way they are buzzing warships with their airplanes, scaring some of their smaller neighbor states, etc.

So back to my topic sentence. There are no clear good guys and bad guys. I do think though that God shows more favor to nations who at least acknowledge Him and show deference to His Laws by trying to conform state law to Divine Law. In that department the Russians have us beat hands down.
