Hi Glenn. 2 quick questions from this re what was said from the recording. (Who & what?)

First: since Conchita said here: "and the Virgin will be seen?" Apparently she wasn't getting this information from The Blessed Mother as I/we always learned and as beginning of post advises. Was the info from an Angel? (St Michael?) Unless It's either a translation issue OR Conchita WAS talking to Mary but using HER name rather than saying "YOU'LL BE SEEN"? Your view? Clarification?

Two: "With me alone. No I don't want that. Don't do that. Perform it with the four." (The opposite of what Mary said at the Annunciation-but understandable totally!) Does that indicate that None of the Girls on Miracle Day will be in Garabandal on Miracle day EXCEPT Conchita? Of course that question can't be answered and only can opinions be shared but that line made me wonder! "With me alone." "Perform it with the four." Since she's talking about it (the Miracle) being performed and with "me alone," may indicate Conchita will be there for Miracle (as most of us would think she would be) but not Jacinta or Mari Cruz). My Opinion only based on this info from post.

With World News getting World reaching everyday we are surely close to the fulfillment of the Garabandal events. (Opinion) Prayers to and for all here. Peace!

    Thanks Glenn

Q2 is easy. Conchita alone is easier to understand. First Conchita did not know that Mari Loli would have passed away by then ( and God forbid, who knows ,who else by then). Second Mary Cruz wants nothing to do with the apparitions , moving about 100 miles away from Garabandal. Jacinta is the only "wild card" as to why she would not attend. I guess we wait to find out why not.

Q1. This one quote: "And the Virgin will be seen?", would have to indicate she was talking to St. Michael ( since no other angels names were ever given, having direct conversations with her )

Understood. I wasn't aware that Mary Cruz wants nothing to do with the apparitions. I thought those doubts were years ago and temporary. Sad. Prayers for her for sure.

Yes thanks Glenn. That's the way I would interpret my first question. I/we just always learned and understood Mary told Conchita about the Miracle. St Michael told the Girls a lot of things so why not this too. There's a reason I guess for that. Only God and Mary know. Maybe after the events we will know too. All minor details but I'm in a prayerful and pensive mood this Morning.

    Thanks Glenn.

Wow. Well Maybe that's the way God wants it. Like He told Conchita in a locution: "I want this for your Sanctification." Again prayers for her for sure. God will handle it. As Always!

The following words are taken from two letters written by Conchita to youth groups from France, during their pilgrimage to Garabandal in 1970 and 1972.

Conchita‘s written messages to youth group in France in 1970

    TOPICS:
    Life of Virtue
    Fasting
    The Eucharist
    True happiness
    The Rosary
    Jesus’s passion
    Examination of conscience
    Look at Mary

The following words are taken from two letters written by Conchita to youth groups from France, during their pilgrimage to Garabandal in 1970 and 1972.

    A LIFE OF VIRTUE
"Be models for other young people"
"The Blessed Virgin wants you to help convert the world and, thereby, prevent the wrath of God over our sins.
She trusts in you; she trusts that your example and self-denial might make you models for other young people that haven’t received the graces that you have in hearing Our Lady’s messages."

    FASTING,PRAYER, AND PENANCE
"She asks you to have a spirit of penance, sacrifice and prayer. Without these weapons, we can do nothing."

    THE EUCHARIST
    Visit the Blessed Sacrament frequently
"In the Blessed Sacrament you will find the strength to take on the life that the Virgin Mary is constantly asking of you. Make frequent visits to the Blessed Sacrament. Empty your hearts of earthly things that don't allow you to listen to God."

    TRUE HAPPINESS
It comes from being with God
"The happiness which you have never felt is found only in the surrender to God and the Virgin Mary."

    THE ROSARY
"Pray to her with faith and trust."
"Pray for one another, for yourselves, pray to Our Lady. Pray to her with faith and trust. She will give you everything that is good for you."

    JESUS' PASSION
    Think of His Passion
"Let us all together think more about Jesus' passion, in order to forget about ourselves."

    EXAMINATION OF CONSCIENCE
    God speaks to your soul
"You who listen to these words, listen to God who speaks within your soul, follow the voice of your conscience. Pause each day for just a few minutes to think about the bad you’ve done, the good you have failed to do and also the good you have done; ask forgiveness for the bad you've done and for the good that, through negligence, you failed to do and begin your Christian life again."

    LOOKING AT THE VIRGIN MARY
Would the Blessed Virgin do it?
"Pray before acting and ask yourself, beforehand, ‘Would the Virgin Mary do this? What would the Blessed Virgin do?’ It’s possible that at this moment, when you are about to do something bad, you change your mind."

    Stories with a message
Loli: "I'm certain that I'm really seeing the Virgin." (she kisses the Virgin : It is difficult to explain . . . I don't feel the warmth of the Virgin on my lips or any other sensation of her face. I only notice that my lips come to her and from there they can go no further . . . but it is marvelous.

    Conchita & HUMILITY

For a time, while she was living in Fatima many years ago, she went daily to an older priest’s residence to volunteer as a cleaning lady. As on other occasions, she went there using the name of Maria, in order not to be recognized. However, one day someone recognized her and immediately all the resident priests knew that the woman who swept the floors of their residence was Conchita of Garabandal. From then on, nothing was the same. Conchita told me that when the priests discovered who she was, they changed the way they treated her. She said she was sorry that they had found out who she was because she felt better serving those elderly priests anonymously.

At age 16 Conchita was already was spiritually wise: "There is no point in our believing in the apparitions if we do not heed the message."
    (Star on the Mountain, p. 118 )

“To guess at dates regarding the [prophesied] Miracle shows a lack of faith in the Blessed Virgin .Indeed, the energies expended on this are so much better spent on living the Message! “

    March 2013 Glenn’s conversation
With all of the arguing over which of the different visionary’s is right, predicting dates, the future of our new Pope, the direction of the church, I've learned one thing, its all distracting, and detracting from our spiritual goals. The best advice I ever got was from Conchita ( when I asked her about the direction of all these things) ,she talked about maintaining your spiritual life (Confession, penance ,mass, communion, the rosary, etc. ) and she said
" I surround my self with good people, pray and don't worry " .
( Sounds like she took the advice of her friend Padre Pio )

TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY, SEPTEMBER 8, 1961:

    THE VIRGIN OF MOUNT CARMEL,
    QUESTIONED . . . REPLIES!
Canon Julio Porro Cardenoso became a convinced witness of the divine authenticity of the phenomena occurring at San Sebastian de Garabandal. He was to write later several books about them.
In the afternoon of his arrival, Don Valentin asked Dr. Porro to draw up some ten questions to be submitted to the Blessed Virgin through the visionaries, during their evening ecstasy. Mari-Loli took charge of this mission. Our Lady's answers are a "first" . .

    1. By what sins does the Blessed Virgin feel most offended? - The mortal ones.
    2. What is the Blessed Virgin urging the Spaniards to do above all to amend themselves? - That they go to confession and receive Communion.
    3. What sacrifices is she asking from Spain? - That "we may be good" (totally virtuous).
    4. What are the sins of young people that hurt and offend her most? - No answer.
    5. What sins of the parents offend her the most? - When they quarrel.
    6. What social sin wounds the Heart of Jesus the most? - No answer.
    7. Is the impact of the Message greater for Spain or for the whole world? - No answer.
    8. What nation fulfills the commandment of Jesus Christ the best? - Spain.
    9. What nation can be presented as a model to the faithful? - No answer.
    10. Is the Message for the whole world or for Spain? - For the whole world.
    11. Why do these things (i.e. the apparitions) occur at night? - No answer: the face of the Vision became clouded over with sadness . . ."
(Excerpted from 'Garabandal' Book, page 101)

    * The last question was answered later on. Why the late hour visitations ?
When the children were asked why the Virgin came at such late hours, they answered that the Virgin told them that it was at that time most of the sins of the world were committed and that they should do penance... And for them it was a penance, and not the smallest, to stay up until the Virgin came to visit them, late in the night, or very early in the morning. They performed this penance because the Virgin wanted it and also because they wanted to see her again.

    MARY: NO WORLD WAR 3

With the current climate of an ever increasing tense world, I thought it was time to remind all here what Mary said .
(and my thoughts on this subject)

The first source of reference is Joey Lomangino who has known the visionary since 1963. Joey vividly recalls Conchita telling him that the Virgin said there would not be a third world war. According to Joey, there may be skirmishes or limited wars between countries but not a global conflict.

A second source of reference is Anne Mequeli from Brentwood, New York. Anne, a dedicated worker for the New York Center Scapular Committee, is a good friend of Conchita’s and frequently attends the visionary’s monthly holy hour to ‘pray for priests’. She gives the following testimony:

One night in Conchita’s house, everyone was talking about the ‘Cuban Crisis’ when Conchita said to me, “At that time in my village, all the people feared a third world war and everyone had radios close to their ears waiting to hear of such a war. But I had an apparition at the time and the Blessed Virgin told me, ‘No World War Three.”

Third source of reference is a taped conversation between Conchita and Bishop Franciso Garmendia, Auxillary Bishop of New York, on August 27, 1981. In answer to the Bishop’s question about the ‘end of times,’ Conchita responded:

“I don’t know if you remember but in France they were saying that in 1962 world war would break out—she (The Virgin) told us that there would never be another world war. Everybody, in fact, was frightened that day, including me, when the Virgin appeared and said, “Don’t be afraid because there will never be a world war.”

I had a thought. (this is just my opinion) . Clearly in WW1 & WW2, the world was equally divided, you were either on one side or the other politically. It is possible to have multiple wars ,but for different reasons. Obviously, a Middle East war , might not have anything to do with a conflict in Korea, or between Russia & Europe or the US. It is possible to have the world at war but not in the sense of the world equally divided as it was with WW1 & WW2.
Now it is also quite possible that we could be on the brink of WW3,and the “Warning” prevents it from happening due to the severity of the Warning on the World’s conscience.
I think we need to understand and distinguish the difference between a "World War" (as it was defined in the past I & II ) and a " World AT War " ( meaning several unrelated conflicts exiting simultaneously ).

Thanks Glenn for this distinction and CLARITY on this is especially now as you stated! A potential War now that's in the news would be devasting for the obvious-The availability and potential use of nuclear weapons and more that could destroy most of world quickly. Being on the brink of that, I agree that (as Mari Loli stated the "Warning will come when things are at its worst") it WILL BE the Warning to stop it. Of course Mary knew that and NEVER lies. Thus She said what She did re No WWIII. Amen. Peace!

Albrecht Weber’s book (the finger of God) contains this statement attributed to Conchita: “The pope will go to Russia, to Moscow”. As soon as he returns to the Vatican, hostilities will break out in different parts of Europe.” [The source for this information was also requested. Mr. Weber responded: “Conchita said this in a long conversation at her house on November 14,1965.”]
Glenn, did your posting means, that these hostilities cannot expanded to a World War III? Weber goes on to write that God does not want that everything (the hostilties in Europe) happens so fast and will therefore send us the warning. The world will then hold its breath.

I can only restate what Mary said to Conchita "No World War Three."

I can speak German and I have read the book "the finger of God" / "Der Zeigefinger Gottes" von Albrecht Weber. I must disappoint you. This statement "The pope will go to Russia, to Moscow" is definitely not in this book. Anyone who claims something else must be able to prove it. He will not succeed.

I briefly met Albrecht Weber and spoke to him. He was very elloquent and must have been in contact with Conchita, which was not always easy for Conchita. At the same time he had difficult views on Millenarius (described in his book) and Pope Francis, whom he did not like. The eyewitnesses in Fatima noticed that he wanted to hand over his book to Conchita and that Conchita did not want that. Albrecht Weber had very great merit in the case of Garabandal, and thanks to his elloquence, Garabandal is now known.

My understanding is that there is more than one edition. I have written the Publisher ,requesting information on any "editions" to the original.
