I am not sure if this has been posted before on MOG. I did a search but didn't come up with anything apart from a brief mention of it.
I have just read an article that was (linked to) on spirit-digest website. I can't recall how long I have left the article open on a tab on my laptop, but only got around to reading it today.
    http://www.spirit-digest.com/Quickhive articles/ronwyattdiscovery.html

"The story is logical and sublime. Christ's Precious Blood was found on the Mercy Seat of the Ark of the Covenant 20 feet beneath old Jerusalem (45 feet beneath the current city). It was far too precious to be absorbed by the earth and returned to dust, so God harvested it in a most unique, appropriate, and holy way! It fell through a crack in the bedrock which a massive earthquake opened immediately after Christ died, right next to the cross and drained below to the Mercy Seat on the Ark of the Covenant which waited for centuries below to receive it.

This discovery showed how the Old Covenant was completed and sealed with the Precious Blood. The implications are dazzling, mind warping, leaving believers, such as myself, blown away. Even Ron Wyatt was stunned to find this. This is an earth shattering story of one outside of the Catholic faith, loved no less, who made one of the most significant discoveries of both Christianity and Judaism in1982, linking the beliefs of two major religions that enjoy one God."

The article above is apparently the 4th part of a 5 part study. The rest of the articles:

This video is at the bottom of the last article mentioned above. I found it rather touching.

As much as you are siting wikipedia, it is 'owned' and cannot always be a trusted source of info, especially with things like this, not that I am saying it is so in this case, but the powers that be may not want this publicized as it condones Christianity, let alone the fact that if it is true, God himself does not want this to be advertised at this time...

I have heard of Ron Wyatt before, not just from Wikipedia. He claims to have "discovered" just about everything there is to discover in biblical archaeology from the Tower of Babel to Noah's grave. If he actually found these things other serious biblical researchers would be interested in his work, they are not. Again I would be very cautious about putting any belief in his "findings".

Yes, I too read of him many years ago as well and agree with Praetorian. Something just does not sit right with all his discoveries with me. I don't use wikipedia at all so I have no idea what they have to say about him one way or the other.

Understood Praetorian. I do see the serious point you make and remember reading in that article how he was considered an 'amateur' archeologist. How could he be if he had discovered all those amazing things? Some how it doesn't all add up... o_O

Folks are still looking for the Ark of the Covenant. Some strong evidence points to a chapel in Ethiopia (maybe Coptic?) and others are looking in the tunnels under the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. On another website, I read that it is somewhere in the mountains, some mountain mentioned in the Bible. Dumb me did not make a record of it and there are a gazillion mountains mentioned in the Bible.

1In the records it will be found that Jeremiah the prophet ordered the deportees to take some of the fire with them as indicated, 2and that the prophet, in giving them the law, directed the deportees not to forget the commandments of the Lord or be led astray in their thoughts, when seeing the gold and silver idols and their adornments.a 3With other similar words he exhorted them that the law should not depart from their hearts.

    * The same document also tells how the prophet, in virtue of an oracle, ordered that the tent and the ark should accompany him, and how he went to the very mountain that Moses climbed to behold God’s inheritance.b 5When Jeremiah arrived there, he found a chamber in a cave in which he put the tent, the ark, and the altar of incense; then he sealed the entrance. 6Some of those who followed him came up intending to mark the path, but they could not find it. 7When Jeremiah heard of this, he reproved them: “The place is to remain unknown until God gathers his people together again and shows them mercy. 8Then the Lord will disclose these things, and the glory of the Lord and the cloud will be seen, just as they appeared in the time of Moses and of Solomon when he prayed that the place* might be greatly sanctified.”

From Sam's post, “The place is to remain unknown until God gathers his people together again and shows them mercy. 8Then the Lord will disclose these things, and the glory of the Lord and the cloud will be seen, just as they appeared in the time of Moses and of Solomon when he prayed that the place* might be greatly sanctified.”. Do you think that this refers to the second coming? I think that it is possible that it could refer to something other than the second coming, in addition to it referring to the second coming. Any thoughts?

Interestingly, in that wikipedia article, there is confirmation that Wyatt did indeed dig in the Garden Tomb Jerusalem; several times in fact. He was a nurse-anaesthetist by profession. He did not have a BA in archeology, but was allowed to dig anyway - thus the term 'amateur archaeologist'.

"The Council of the Garden Tomb Association (London) totally refute the claim of Mr Wyatt to have discovered the original Ark of the Covenant or any other biblical artifacts within the boundaries of the area known as the Garden Tomb Jerusalem. Though Mr Wyatt was allowed to dig within this privately owned garden on a number of occasions (the last occasion being the summer of 1991) staff members of the Association observed his progress and entered his excavated shaft. As far as we are aware nothing was ever discovered to support his claims nor have we seen any evidence of biblical artifacts or temple treasures."

We know that God works in mysterious ways, and doesn't choose people according to the way we think He would. An example that I recently read about comes to mind - the deaf, dumb and blind boy who pointed out where St Anne's relics lay.

In watching the video below, I felt touched. I don't believe Ron Wyatt was faking his emotions. He was suddenly overcome with emotion in the midst of his answer.
If, as Wyatt said, God does not want anyone to know the location of the Ark of the Covenant as yet, nobody will be able to find it until the time that the Father deems perfect. That would explain the statement from the Council of the Garden Tomb association -"As far as we are aware nothing was ever discovered to support his claims nor have we seen any evidence of biblical artifacts or temple treasures."

The USCCB states that "The place: the Temple of Jerusalem." There is much discussion about the actual location of the temple. In any case, I wonder if this scripture plays a part in the conversion of the Jews. Maybe it is even related to the Illumination of Conscience which a few prophecies state follows the Gog/Magog war.

MY CATHOLIC FAITH IS MY DISABILITY UNDER THE SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION

    Greetings,

    Thank you for your visit.

Some members of my family knows, but not all, and not all of my Face Book friends knows about it. But here it is. It's sometimes embarrassing for me to say that, I'm on Social Security Disability when I am asked if I am working or not. So, I thought I'd share a bit of myself. I have been diagnosed with Schizoaffective Disorder and Depression in 2013. Below is a brief summary of my diagnosis according to Social Security Administration and the Mayo Clinic.

"Schizoaffective disorder is a mental disease that is characterized by several conditions, including mood disorder and schizophrenia. This condition is not well understood compared to other mental disorders because it is a combination of different mental problems that might be unique in each affected individual. People with untreated schizoaffective disorder tend to lead lonely lives and experience difficulties in keeping jobs and attending school.

Schizoaffective disorder may differ from one individual to another. People with this condition experience psychotic symptoms, such as hallucinations or delusions and mood disorder, according to Mayo Clinic. Mood disorder can either be depression or bipolar disorder, a medical illness that causes shifts in energy and moods. A person may also experience paranoid ideas and thoughts.

This disorder can be very disabling and may prevent an individual from being able to work. If you are unable to work due to this disorder, you may be eligible for Social Security disability, including Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and/or Supplemental Security Income (SSI).

Social Security Disabling Symptoms of Schizoaffective Disorder. Individuals who suffer from schizoaffective disorder can have a range of symptoms that can interfere with work. Here are a few Symptoms can include: Illogical or disorganized speech, rapid speech or speech that cannot be followed or understood by others, paranoia in which you believe others are trying to harm you, delusions that special messages are hidden in common places, lack of concern with hygiene or grooming, extremes in mood (either very good or very bad mood), sleep problems, concentration issues, difficulties with memory, hallucinations, and social isolation."

You really got my interest peaked about Ron Wyatt. Here is an interesting account from the Ron Wyatt museum that tells of his investigations into the site of Noah's Ark.

I had already bookmarked that site after reading the spirit-digest articles, to read leisurely when I have more time. But your enthusiasm compelled me to read the article (you gave a link to) immediately.
I believe what is recounted there.
