Why is the Pope Emeritus taken out of mothballs for a photo op every time Pope Francis appoints new Cardinals? Is this a kind of papal rubber stamp along the lines of "I second these nominations"? It's weird.
Indeed. He's the Cardinal who wrote the book supposedly explaining Amoris Laetitia and then didn't show up for the event arranged to launch it. He came up with the gem that it would be sinful for a woman to leave an adulterous relationship because the man she isn't married to would be sad and the children he fathered with his valid, living spouse would be motherless. According to one report I read, the Cardinal had proposed that his secretary be promoted to Bishop. That report also said that the priest had previously been treated for a drugs overdose. Clearly, Satan has been working overtime in the Vatican. Not surprising really when you look at the dross being elevated to positions of authority. I suppose we'll have to wait for God to clean house because his deputies clearly are unwilling or incapable of getting the job done.
You have to wonder just who will be left standing to lead the underground Church when that time comes. People will be generally distrustful of most everybody.....as they are now with the gov't and media as a whole. And since some messages have said that some of the Eucharists during this underground time will come via the angels from tabernacles could they be those "rescued" out of illicit liturgies but still authentic due to true consecrations from valid priests even though they have accepted the new "universalist" and "inclusive" liturgy?

Yes, I wonder who will lead the underground Church. The way things are going there could be more than one anti-Pope with each claimant having the support of groups of Bishops. What would we do then? Obey our local Bishop? But what if our Bishop is someone like Cardinal Coccopalmerio, Cardinal Marx or some other of Pope Francis' inner circle or recent appointees such as his ghost writer for Amoris Laetitia? And what about future generations raised in a Catholic Church that professes to believe one thing and practices something completely different just like so many Protestant Churches Too late to quash it. Damage limitation will be the order of the day. I wouldn't be surprised to see this scandal and Cardinal Muller's removal from the CDF being linked because the apartment is owned by the CDF. Cardinal Coccopalmerio has been a member of the CDF since 2010 and is a member of the board set up by Pope Francis to deal with clergy found guilty of sex abuse and the priest was his secretary. Do Cardinals in the Vatican get to choose their own secretaries and if they do why would Cardinal Muller be the fall guy for this scandal? I'm wondering whose BMW the Vatican priest was driving and where did he get the money to buy the drugs. If he isn't independently wealthy and priests in the Curia are paid the same as priests in parishes, the Vatican will need to take a serious look at his finances.

Wow! In this article it states Coccopalmerio advocates 'a less rigid' understanding of the priesthood in order to draw nearer to protestants. How about protestants drawing nearer to Catholics by admitting that the whole basis of their Lutheran inspired revolution was based on falsehood. Sola Scriptura and Solo Fides are false assumptions that need to be challenged continuously.
It is also mentioned by certain people! that they were about to do a massive destroy mission against P. Benedict with an attempt to bring forward his time of authority in Germany during previous scandals and link him to the universal scandal news, really forcing him out in order to keep the Church from destruction at the top of a trusted head. And he had already lost control of even private papers within the Papal household being leaked to the media at the time while his own health wasn't that strong. Perhaps making that opening for the plan of the Universalists for their decided upon, C. Bergoglio? Whatever, I still pray for that head for the sake of unity and perhaps an "awakening" to that evil within. So, with all of that, one has to wonder if the Vatican cops weren't alerted to this "party" (there must have been others) not only by the "neighbors" but possibly by those schemers within.....more of a set up? And of course secular clergy don't take the vow of poverty.....can hold property, stocks, bank investments, etc. It seems like certain circles of "minorities" do very well while whining about unfair practices against them!
David I try to see all sides of the argument and yes when a catholic prelate is implicated in more than just an wink and a nod for a gay orgie but also in other questionable activities I start to question whether he needs time out! don't you think this would be appropiate? These horrible activities that we are finding out about within our our Holy Catholic Church, must be exocised out, so that the evil can not continue to beat the drum that says catholics are now protestants and catholics are willing to embrace anything and everything? Of course we are Catholics and we are neither protestant nor are we willing to embrace all and sundry from the shopping list of heresy, we stand for truth, we stand for God and for His Glory, the Lord Supreme and God of all and I know you agree with me David. Many of our Cardinals seem to be bringing our Holy Father down. Maybe you don't think some of our cardinals need a break but I certainly do think that many need to clear their minds in retreat and come back, fired in the faith by the Holy Spirit! Let me just state the reality that Cardinal Coccopalmerio is not in any way implicated in the appalling event which seems to have taken place in the flat of the Cardinal's secretary. The flat belongs to the CDF. The same reasoning that tries to blacken the name of a good man could just as well suggest that Cardinal Muller is 'implicated' as well! Truly, the devil is running wild at the moment but we have to stop helping him by refusing to accept the torrent of lies and misinformation that is being spread around.

I said no such thing. I said the Cardinal is not implicated in any way. Of course, in theory, there is the possibility that he could even be involved in some way but even your lifesitenews website doesn't suggest such an awful possibility apart from saying - " There is speculation that Coccopalmerio knew about the gay orgies and did nothing about them. ". Well of course there is speculation fueled by sites like lifesitenews but there is absolutely NO evidence to support such speculation. If I learned that the Cardinal knew about these things I would be truly horrified.
