At first glance, it looks succinct, yet powerful; simple and humble. This theme of submission and surrender never grows stale. I need to hear it time and time again. Thank you, Lynn. Thank you, Mark. Safe in the Flames of the Sacred Heart!
I found Mark's entire blog amazing again! This one is special though. Excellent novena! https://www.markmallett.com/blog/2017/05/31/an-invincible-faith-in-jesus/
This simple Novena in surrender to the Will of God is the same as living in the Divine Will (Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta); Living Host (St. Faustina); Divine Substitution (Bl. Dina Belanger); Mystical Incarnation (Ven. Conchita De Armida and Archbishop Martinez; "To live in one single act of perfect love" (St. Therese); "God in me and I in Him" (Blessed Elizabeth of the Trinity) ; "Love Jesus with the Immaculata's Heart" "...so that they might resemble Her as soon as possible and be changed into Her." (St. Maximilian Kolbe); Servant of God Marthe Robin, ..made her "Act. of Abandonment to the Love and Will of God." - and there are many other exemplars of the "New and Divine Holiness" spoken of by Saint John Paul II "...that new and divine holiness with which the Holy Spirit wishes to enrich Christians at the dawn of the third millennium, in order to make Christ the Heart of the world." Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, may Your Kingdom come through the Immaculate Heart of Mary! God bless you.
This Novena is amazing, thank you so much for posting. Time to abandon the affairs of the Church and the worries that confuse us so much (and surpass us completely) into the hands of Jesus.
I read a blog online where a Catholic mom prays it daily I am trying to do that now too Like you said: Perpetually
