THE ANTI-MERCY Very, very good piece by Mark Mallett IMHO. No mention of the part the current Pope may play in this mess though. https://www.markmallett.com/blog/the-anti-mercy/#more-26592 THE hour of the “great battle” which Our Lady and popes alike have been warning about for many generations—a coming Great Storm that was on the horizon and steadily approaching—is now here. It is a battle over truth. For if the truth sets us free, then falsehood enslaves—which is the “end game” of that “beast” in Revelation. But why is it now “here”? Because all the turmoil, immorality, and distress in the world—from wars and genocides to greed and the Great Poisoning… have only been “signs” of a general collapse of faith in the truth of God’s Word. But when that collapse begins to occur within the Church herself, then we know that “the final confrontation between the Church and the anti-church, of the Gospel and the anti-gospel, between Christ and the anti-christ” [1] is imminent. For St. Paul was clear that, before “the day of the Lord” that ushers in a triumph of Christ in His Church and an Era of Peace, [2] the Church herself must suffer a great “apostasy”, a terrible falling away of the faithful from truth. Then, when the seemingly inexhaustible patience of the Lord has delayed as long as possible the purification of the world, He will permit a “strong delusion”… …for those who are perishing because they have not accepted the love of truth so that they may be saved. Therefore, God is sending them a strong delusion so that they may believe the lie, that all who have not believed the truth but have approved wrongdoing may be condemned. (2 Thess 2:10-12) Where are we now in an eschatological sense? It is arguable that we are in the midst of the rebellion [apostasy] and that in fact a strong delusion has come upon many, many people. It is this delusion and rebellion that foreshadows what will happen next: “and the man of lawlessness will be revealed.” —Msgr. Charles Pope, “Are These the Outer Bands of a Coming Judgment?”, November 11th, 2014; blog This “strong delusion” is taking many forms that, in their essence, appear as “right”, “just”, and “merciful,” but are in fact diabolical because they deny the inherent dignity and truth about the human person: • The inherent truth that we are all sinners and that, in order to receive eternal life, we must repent from sin and believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. • The inherent dignity of our body, soul, and spirit which are made in the image of God, and therefore, which must govern every ethical principle and activity in politics, economics, medicine, education and science. When he was still a cardinal, Pope Benedict warned of this… …dissolution of the image of man, with extremely grave consequences. —May, 14, 2005, Rome; Cardinal Ratzinger, in a speech on European identity.
What I find interesting is, current prophecy is speaking loudly about God being very upset about the hierarchy of the church and their apostasy on adultery, but none that I have read (and I read many) have spoken specifically of Pope Francis within. Mark Mallett has been very specific as well, but has not used Pope Francis' name as at the root of the apostasy going on in the Church, especially in his document AL. Why? Is it to somehow protect the office of Peter?
Hi Jeanne, I wasn’t citing this from a particular source but I have included some links below that refer to what I meant. This goes to the very core of the way the entire Church operates and preserves it’s teachings. As opposed to Protestants who believe in scripture alone (sola scriptura) the Catholic Church believes in Scripture and Tradition. That is Tradition with a capital “T”. This differs from the way we commonly use the word “tradition” to mean “customs”. Often Church “Tradition” is referred to as “Sacred Tradition”. Church Tradition cannot change and hence any teaching that is introduced is always compared against Scripture and Tradition to see if it contradicts these two in any way. At the heart of this issue is the Magisterial “weight” or level of authority of different Papal documents. So for example if Pope A delivers a homily and states something about the faith then later Pope B releases an Apostolic Exhortation that contradicts what Pope A said then we go with the higher authority of the two which would be the Apostolic Exhortation of Pope B as long as the Apostolic Exhortation does not contradict Scripture or Tradition. Conversely if Pope C delivers an Apostolic Exhortation and it is accepted by the Church as not contradicting Scripture and Tradition, then Pope D releases an Apostolic Exhortation that seemingly contradicts Pope C’s Apostolic Exhortation in some way, then this necessarily dictates that Pope D’s Apostolic Exhortation must be read in line with Pope C’s Apostolic Exhortation, Scripture and Tradition. If it is not then it would be opposing Scripture and Tradition which is an impossibility in the Church. The Church teaches there can be no “new” teachings that contradict older ones. There can be a deepening of understanding in later teachings, but never direct contradictions to what the Church has already established as true. For example homosexuality is objectively sinful. In the future there can never be a way in which the Church declares it is not objectively sinful. As this is not something easily explained in a sentence or two, it might require some research on your part if you would like to explore it further, but it is well worth it. Some of the basics are covered in the links below. Here is an article on what Tradition is: https://www.catholic.com/tract/scripture-and-tradition This is a Wikipedia entry and I would look under the “Theological Certainty” section. This lists the various levels of “certitude” we can have. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dogma_in_the_Catholic_Church Here is a list of the types of Papal documents. The higher having more authority than the lower. https://www.ewtn.com/holysee/pontiff/categories.asp Also here is a great section on sticking with Tradition when novelites enter the Church http://www.newadvent.org/fathers/3506.htm I hope this was helpful
There was a am one time who went to a car showroom to buy a new car. The salesman assured him that the car he was going to buy would never ever crash . That is had very special anti crash computers and equipment on board and that no matter how fast the vehicle went or how bad the weather of how stupidly he drove it would not matter , there would never , ever be an accident. He was buying a very , very special piece of work. So, delighted he bought it and bought into the story. So over the next few months he enjoyed his new purchase. He drove just as fast as he liked, rain , snow or hail, no matter what the traffic or road conditions knowing he was utterly , utterly safe, the car would take care of everything like he had been told. Gradually his friends, neighbours and family began to warn him something was wrong. He was driving dangerously and recklessy and should be more careful and keep his hands on the wheel and his eyes on the road. From time to time his wife even screamed from the driver seat and his children cry in the back seat in utter terror. He did''t care.he just knew that car was the safest thing in the world. He had been told this numerous times by the dealer and salesman. Nothing could ever go wrong. Eventually of course he crashed with his family inside. But as they were taking them all away seriously injured in a fleet of ambulances the guy still not worry. This was a totally safe car , he had been told this. They might have a few scratches but things would would out just fine. After all the dealer had said so. He was still thinking this as he passed away in the ambulance.
In effect we in the Church have sold ourselves or been sold a pup. As far as the Papacy is concerned we regarded it as the car that could never crash. In a sense we had some grounds for believing it. For the last lot of Popes we have had drivers at the wheel of the Church who have been great drivers, saints and Great Leaders. So we came to believe the hype that nothing could ever go wrong with the car. In the present Papacy we started to see the car driven crazily and recklessly and folks began to believe all kinds of things. But never that it might be the driver himself who was crazy. We are in denial about it. It must be someone else driving the car. It must be the other drivers fault. We must be misunderstanding or misrepresenting the situation. Eventually the smoke cleared from our eyes and we saw the driver was indeed bad and , yes, we were heading for a big pile up. Mark Mallet is catching up on the reality of the situation. Yes he admits , the car is being driven crazily. Yes it is making all kinds of mad noises. Yes there is going to be a huge pile up. But he is still in denial about the driver. He is still saying it is not the drivers fault. It must be someone, anyone else fault but not the Pope. No matter how unreal or removed from reality such a suggestion might be. Why is he in such deep denial? Well partly because he has bought into the salesman's pitch that such a thing could never ever be. But also because he has also bought into the pitch that it is not a nice thing to criticise the driver of the car. As to how long Mark Mallet and people can keep up with the , 'You can't knock the driver , it isn't nice and good Catholics don't do such things', pitch. Well your guess is as good as mine. But its clear that the smoke is blowing away from his eyes and he is beginning to see that he has been sold a pup. Lets pray that you gotta be nice about the Pope /driver or you are not a good Catholic delusion doesn't continue as the ambulance hauls him and the rest of us away.
Yes. Chilling, but yes this is true. Again I go back to Malachi Martin who said to Bernard Janzen inthe early 90's something to this effect. "They are inside the Church(satanists) but they don't own the Papacy. If they can own the Papacy (an Apostate Pope) then we are in for something we've never seen....something so horrible...that it would test the faith of Catherine of Sienna, of Teresa of Avila...if that day comes then close your shades, put on sackcloth and pray that you will be spared because...(again paraphrasing here to my best ability to remember)...your faith will be shredded."
If they are willing to go public with this, it just makes you wonder how much worse is going on behind the curtain... They obviously aren't in fear of any one or anything....you have to wonder why?
As I said yesterday, Mark Mallett has not mentioned Pope Francis by name in the Church crisis, but I challenge anyone to name a credible prophecy that is clearly addressing the crisis in the Church, which has named Pope Francis as the "driver" that Padraig is looking for. No doubt, at this point in my mind, that he is the driver. But I am curious as to why prophecy has not said as much.
Pope Benedict XVI was the Pope in 2007 when this abomination homoerotic painting was commissioned. Why was this allowed?
You make a valid point. Maybe Pedro Regis is the one that comes closer and I don´t know if his messages are completely credible. I think true messages from heaven never single out individuals. They show situations, groups of people. A loving Mother never demonizes a single individual. The Bolchevik revolution was about to change the world forever... when did Our Holy Mother ever mention Lenin, or Marx? In Fatima she mentioned "communism" and "Russia". The second world war was raging... what message ever mentioned Hitler or Hirohito or Roosevelt? What credible recent message ever mentions "Obama" or "Putin" or "Clinton"? Answer: none. They mention modernism, materialism, ignoring God´s laws etc. In fact I suspect the messages that DO mention individuals DO NOT generally come from heaven. The reason for this is twofold, in my view: first, Lenin, Marx, Obama etc. are also loved by Our Mother and, of course, by God. Second, God is perfect justice: is it fair to attribute the horrors of Communism, or the second world war, or modernism or the current situation in the western world to individuals? Millions of people, in fact, allowed these leaders to rise to power and happily followed them. What would have been the fate of Hitler had the German people been practising Christian virtues? Probable answer: our history books would not even record his name. Now I think the same may apply to the current situation in the Church. It is the dire moral/spiritual situation in the church that allowed the current pope to be elected. And we can´t say that heaven hasn´t been warning us for well over a century: think of La Sallette, Fatima, Garabandal, Akita etc. etc. And boy oh boy the messages HAVE BEEN STERN! One such example is La Sallette (and this was given in 1858!!! - those were the "good old days"!): The priests, ministers of my Son, the priests, by their wicked lives, by their irreverence and their impiety in the celebration of the holy mysteries, by their love of money, their love of honours and pleasures, the priests have become cesspools of impurity. Yes, the priests are asking vengeance, and vengeance is hanging over their heads. Woe to the priests and to those dedicated to God who by their unfaithfulness and their wicked lives are crucifying my Son again! The sins of those dedicated to God cry out towards Heaven and call for vengeance, and now vengeance is at their door, for there is no one left to beg mercy and forgiveness for the people. There are no more generous souls, there is no one left worthy of offering a stainless sacrifice to the Eternal for the sake of the world. The chiefs, the leaders of the people of God have neglected prayer and penance, and the devil has bedimmed their intelligence. They have become wandering stars which the old devil will drag along with his tail to make them perish. God will allow the old serpent to cause divisions among those who reign in every society and in every family. Physical and moral agonies will be suffered. God will abandon mankind to itself and will send punishments which will follow one after the other for more than thirty-five years. My two cents...
This is a mine field. I don't know that Pope Francis is the "driver" per say but I do know this; He answers to God and his position is one of the greatest responsibility to his flock. He needs our prayers.
Because the car that padraig spoke of has been being driven for quite some time now. NOT just by Pope Francis.
When one is in the driver's seat (as Pope Francis clearly is) and you let the one in the passenger seat grab the steering wheel, when you are pressing on the pedal, one has to conclude the driver is willingly letting others grab and steer to the end they want to travel and unless the driver takes his foot off the gas the driver goes as he will. If the car crashes, the most culpable person is the one in the driver's seat that let the car get out of control.
Like Pope Benedict said while at his doors threshold, "my authority stops right here". He was not being listened to and felt he could not sustain the battle at his age.
Yes, I can believe that....hence, his retirement. It was said by Malachi Martin that those clerics who surrounded pope JPII I at the end of his life showed hatred and disrespect for him....but he was too old and sickly to do anything about it. Very, very sad state that our church finds itself in .... But, the gates of hell will not prevail against it....no matter what.
Such an interesting question. In fact , racking my name I can't think of any prophecy at any time that critiqued a Pope in anyway. Stretching it further I can;t think of one that critcised a Cardinal , Bishop or priest. Even though we had some pretty monstrous evil Popes and clergy. Going back further to the Old Testament, I think there was some pretty straightforward finger pointing there as far as I recall. The reasons? Well I don't honestly know. It may be such prophecy would be self limiting. By this I mean say Jane Brown had a vision of Jesus who told her at the time that the Borgias were a load of murdering scoundrels especially the Borgia Pope. Well who authenticates such prophecy? Why the Church of course. So it would be a bit like Al Capone agreeing with a statement that Al Capone was a scoundrel. You are not going to get approval for mystical messages that takes potshots at Church Authorities, monsters or not, because its Church Authorities that rubber stamp them. if you see what I mean. What chance for instance would someone have messages approved referring to the Clerical Child Abuse Scandal and maybe naming names? Zero Zilch . Is' nt going to happen. So you see what I mean by, 'Self limiting' This was the source for instance of the controversy over the Third Secret of Fatima for instance. Folks supposed it had been buried because it touched a nerve. Also the message from Tre Fontane. It was buried too. Anyway who knows? Just a thought. But I bet you if someone stepped forward today with messages naming Vatican Clerics the powers that be would not be too long in closing it down.
