Yes, the fear is almost palpable. Hard though it is for us watching everything disintegrate before our eyes, imagine how much harder it is for faithful Catholics in the public eye trying to maintain a sense of balance as the rug is pulled from under them. My heart goes out to them.
Actually, Padraig, that's not the video I had watched this morning. It's the second of a two-parter. The first gave the Catholic definition of marriage. Here's the first part:
I feel that what is going on now in the church will be greatly upset by enemies of the church who will soon unleash hell upon the Vatican. I think the prophecy of Fatima about the "Bishop dressed in white walking over dead bodies, up a hill and to his own death" will come about soon. The mess that is being made in the church at this moment will be doubled down upon with the rise of the False Prophet (most likely an anti-pope) and the Antichrist who will take the mess we are in and make a bigger mess yet. However, this will be after the Warning and so the remnant will have the grace, courage and knowledge to battle the heresies and not be afraid. At this point we will see heaven working along side those on earth to evangelize like never before, even through the persecution, right up to the 3 day's of darkness. Something tells me God will not let Pope Francis live to celebrate with Protestants in their 500th jubilee of their heresy this summer.
There is a part in the messages of our Lady of Garabandal that only makes sense now. Our Lady had warned that all the hosts from all the Tabernacles in the world would be removed. When I was younger I took this literally, I thought all the hosts would come flying out and up to heaven. It was only fairly recently I realized it meant the mass would be rendered invalid and there would be no more Eucharist. There are so many prophesies that point to this time.
I don't remember reading that all the hosts from all the Tabernacles in the world would be removed. I do remember reading that in Akita Our Lady said that if sin continued to increase, there would be no more forgiveness or something to that effect. My mother RIP was still alive when we heard this, and she was terrified at the thought of forgiveness for sin ceasing.
I saw an even more frightening message one time. It claimed that people would become so bad that Our Lady herself would go before the Throne of God and outraged demand action. Which would cause God to act at once. I can't imagine such a thing. .But in the Book of Revelations it does say that the angels before the Throne of God demand action. I would certainly say we have long passed this point.
The smoke of Satan: Vatican archbishop featured in homoerotic painting he commissioned https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/l...il&utm_term=0_c5c75ce940-1679bbcc8c-400988405
If I could, I would go into that cathedral with a bucket of paint the cover it all! Why are the people not standing up against this evil? I just don't know how they can allow this...... I am sorry Lord that no one has defended your holy church....
Well if it were Ireland I would certainly throw a bucket of paint around it. I guess in Italy they are battle hardened to bad Cardinals swanning about. God is so patient and merciful, it is incredible.
You've heard the saying, " he has the patients of a saint" ? Well, here is the example of it. You'd have to be a saint to have such patients to tolerate this. Guess I'm no saint cause I wouldn't tolerate it! Not for a second.
Good news...... Archbishop Chaput: Jesus’ words on adultery ‘very clear.’ Pope should answer the dubia https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/a...il&utm_term=0_c5c75ce940-1679bbcc8c-400988405
Have a look at this video from the Vatican's Bioextinction workshop. It's from a question and answer session. They had been discussing matters about deforestation, wetlands, the effects on the environment of overusing fertilizers in farming, etc. and went on to discuss using economics to convince people about climate change. Near the start of the tape, Ehrlich had been complaining that his children who attend a school attached to a church in Palo Alto were not taught about how food is produced. Educating the populace is a theme running through the discussion. At about the 32:50 mark, Cardinal Sorondo says that the economists had done a great job of convincing people about climate change. He went on to say that two meetings of the Pontifical Academy had stressed the importance of genetically modified crops to farming, the security of food, and to the "limitation of population" and asked why weren't the economists doing the same for genetically modified crops. The response from Arber, the President of the Pontifical Academy, is along the lines of governments being hamstrung by an ignorant populace (meaning us), with educating the masses being the solution. An out of his depth Cardinal Sorondo, treated like a daft, ignorant old uncle, is being strung along by these people. God preserve us from Bishops who need the likes of these people to massage their egos. In the not too distant future, expect Catholic schools which have failed miserably in teaching the basics of the faith to excel at brainwashing children about the dangers of man-made global warming and the merits of genetically modified crops along with the covert (or overt if it's a Jesuit university) message that birth rates must be reduced using any and all methods available. Our Church is in deep, deep trouble. The wolves have been invited to guide the sheep over the cliff.
“Alas, it is shameful to speak of it! It is shameful to relate such a disgusting scandal to sacred ears! But if the doctor fears the virus of the plague, who will apply the cauterization? If he is nauseated by those whom he is to cure, who will lead sick souls back to the state of health?” St. Peter Damian -- Book of Gomorrah,
The very day Sodom was destroyed, Scripture describes the sun as bright. People saw Noah preparing for the flood one hundred and twenty years before it came, but men would not believe.
It is worth mentioning that a Archbishop who would involve himself in such a thing would not hesitate for a moment getting involved in Satanic Sacrifice. Not for a moment. https://www.lifesitenews.com/opinion/alleviating-catholic-madness This Vatican shakeup sends shivers down my spine catholic , charles chaput , communion for remarried , divorce , marriage , pontifical council for the family , pope francis , robert mcelroy , sex education , vatican , vincenzo paglia August 23, 2016 (ALL) -- We read and hear about many disconcerting activities going on in the Catholic Church right now. The sad truth is that much of it could directly affect the manner in which our children and grandchildren may be taught in the coming years. So stay with me for a few moments as I address some of these problems. In the Vatican, there has been a shakeup of the kind that sends shivers down my spine. Italian archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, who is currently the president of the Pontifical Council for the Family, has been given a new role. According to Zenit, “Pope Francis has appointed Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia as the new president of the Pontifical Academy for Life. . . . Archbishop Paglia had previously served as president of the Pontifical Council for the Family; that council has now been merged into the new Dicastery for Laity, Family, and Life.” Paglia is well known as a prelate who does not take a clear position on the Church teaching that divorced and remarried Catholics cannot receive the Eucharist. In fact, he has said that “the subject of the divorced and remarried and access to Communion is important, but it requires, above all, a pastoral approach and not to make this into a ‘category.’” This statement is fundamentally at odds with doctrine and the statements of other prelates who uphold magisterial teaching, such as Archbishop Charles Chaput of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. In recent guidelines published by the archdiocese, we find this affirmation of what the archbishop describes as a “hard teaching” for some. The guidelines state: “Undertaking to live as brother and sister is necessary for the divorced and civilly-remarried to receive reconciliation in the Sacrament of Penance, which could then open the way to the Eucharist. Such individuals are encouraged to approach the Sacrament of Penance regularly, having recourse to God’s great mercy in that sacrament if they fail in chastity.” These guidelines are clear in the message they provide, while Paglia creates confusion with his comments. In addition, there is the odious program entitled The Meeting Point, described as a “project for affective and sexual formation.” This is simply another name for a sex education program for Catholics. This program was developed in Spain and approved by Paglia in his former role as president of the Pontifical Council for the Family. The very sad but true fact about this program is that the same Pontifical Council for the Family, under the guidance of my dear friend Cardinal Alfonse Trujillo had published an outstanding document entitled The Truth and Meaning of Human Sexuality—a set of guidelines for education within the family. Cardinal Trujillo must be spinning in his grave! Click "like" to support Catholics Restoring the Culture! And as a final straw, we have learned that San Diego, California’s, bishop Robert McElroy is convening a “San Diego Synod” in October. “The bishop believes the synod will not only help San Diego Catholics grapple with the modern challenges to family life and the church as they are explored in the exhortation; it will also offer the diocese a new model for ‘being church.’” We are not sure what that means, but we do know that McElroy espouses what he says he and Pope Francis describe as a “‘law of gradualness’ which recognizes that humans achieve moral growth in stages and which ‘reflects love more than judgment.’” If this sounds like a dumbing down of the Ten Commandments to become something akin to Ten Ideas or Ten Suggestions, then you have read my mind! So here is what we have to do: Sign the petition on LifeSiteNews calling on the Vatican to withdraw the flawed sex education program The Meeting Point. Learn how Catholic parents can preserve the integrity of the Church’s teachings on human sexuality by owning and sharing Culture of Life Studies Program materials that are faithful to Catholic doctrine on all subjects dealing with respect for the dignity of the human person. Protect the most precious gift that the Lord has given to you: your family. Never forget these profound words of Saint John Paul II: “Christian spouses and parents are required to offer ‘the obedience of faith.’ They are called upon to welcome the word of the Lord which reveals to them the marvelous news—the Good News—of their conjugal and family life sanctified and made a source of sanctity by Christ Himself.”
