If Obama attempts an unprecedented post-presidential incursion into politics, it may back-fire. Although the mainstream media will gush and slobber over his every word, many people now reject the media lead and will judge his performances on their merits. Obama will no longer possess any real power. Without the ability to make executive orders at his whim he may be reduced to frustrated rants and his press conferences may not be as well stage-managed without the full resources of the White House. I don't believe in coincidences. Watching and following the election as well as the GOP run up it was pretty clear that most all the things that were planned by the members of the uniparty either fell apart or in many cases backfired badly against the perpetrators. This happened over and over again. It has been happening in the last 40 days as well since President Trump took office. Now, even Mr Bush who repeatedly declined to comment on the actions and decisions of President Obama over the course of the past 8 years is chiming in. It's pretty hard for me personally not to think that his and his buddies interests are not being threatened in some way. It makes sense as well in light of the last 8 years of silence. I am beginning to wonder if a past president can be charged with sedition at the rate things are going.
