Yes, I guess it is how one understands "will rise." Does it mean no one knows about him, yet, or does it mean we know of him, but do not realize he is false? A little too veiled for me. Safe in the Refuge of the Immaculate Heart!
Time will tell. I assume he is known and rising in popularity at this time. Some may be on to him, but most will admire him. Interestingly enough he seems to hand off his popularity to another. We don't know how or to whom. The message say' s we will know in the future. What also seems apparent from the message is our faith will be challenged by this falsehood, most seemingly from a false prophet or the Antichrist.
And most such priests who could be led to disbelief in the True Presence (Satan's main target) would probably deny the known Eucharistic miracle/s granted just for that purpose in the past to revitalize the loss of faith in the Eucharist of particular priest/s.
http://marymagdalen.blogspot.co.uk/2017/01/amoris-laetitia-brightest-and-best.html?m=1 Amoris Laetitia: Brightest and the Best would resign Encouraging news from a priest friend. He was speaking to his bishop about Amoris Laetitia and discussing whether the Bishops Conference will make a statement on the lines of two bishops who make up the Maltese Episcopal Conference. "No", said the Bishop, "not only would there be division, even war amongst the bishops, at least a strong division between the bishops but in his own diocese he knew that several of the younger clergy would resign from their parishes, and be welcomed by other sympathetic bishops. The problem he said would be with the "brightest and the best, the most hard working especially amongst the younger of the diocesan clergy". It is unfortunate that the Church has been pushed in such a direction but this is where the Church is today, in a fragile vulnerable situation.
The strongest message to date from the Blessed Mother to Pedro for those who have ears to hear. John the Baptist died in defense of God's teaching on adultery. 4423 - Message of Our Lady Queen of Peace, in Gameleira / Goiás, January 30, 2017 Dear children, do not be afraid. Testify of Jesus and His Words. Encourage one another and assume your true role as Christians. You are heading for a future in which many will act like Judas and will be remembered as traitors to the faith. My Son Jesus needs people with the courage of John the Baptist to be defenders of the truth. John died for defending the truth taught by My Son Jesus. Everywhere his voice announced Jesus and His Teachings. John denounced sin and was the victim of those who wanted half-truth. Many chosen to defend the truth will deny it and be lost eternally. I am your Sorrowful Mother and I suffer for what comes to you. The traitors to faith will act against the True Teachings of My Jesus; they will act against the Mystery of the Faith and will draw a great number of My poor children into error. Bend your knees in prayer. Love and defend the truth. Do not retreat. The silence of the righteous strengthens the enemies of God. Courage. In the Lord is your victory. Go forward in truth. This is the message I give you today in the name of the Most Holy Trinity. Thank you for having allowed me to gather you here once more. I bless you, in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Be at peace.
Yes. "Magnum Mysterium". To undermine the Mystery of Faith is to attack the very heart of the Church.
4425 - Message of Our Lady Queen of Peace, February 4, 2017. Dear children, days of darkness will come and the faithful will drink the bitter cup of suffering. Those who love the truth will be persecuted and silenced. I suffer for what comes to you. Defend Jesus and His Gospel. Do not be afraid. My Jesus needs your sincere and courageous testimony. You are living in the time of the Great Spiritual Battle. In your hands the Holy Rosary and Sacred Scripture; in your hearts the love of truth. Your reward will be great if you remain in the truth. I do not want to force you, but listen to Me. I love you and I will be by your side. Do not lose your hope. I will pray to My Jesus for you. Onward. This is the message I give you today in the name of the Most Holy Trinity. Thank you for having allowed me to gather you once more. I bless you, in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Be at peace. 4426 - Message of Our Lady Queen of Peace, February 7, 2017 Dear children, courage. God is by your side. Do not retreat. You are living in the time of the Great and Sorrowful Spiritual Tribulation. Bend your knees in prayer. You are heading towards a painful future. The Church of My Jesus will be weakened and the faithful will drink the bitter cup of suffering. The bad shepherds will act without mercy and the true defenders of the faith will be despised. Announce Jesus and do not allow the devil to win. After all the tribulation, the Church of My Jesus will go back to being as Jesus entrusted her to Peter. The false church will spread its errors and will contaminate many, but the Grace of My Lord will be with His True Church and She will be victorious. Do not be discouraged. I will be by your side and will pray to My Jesus for you. Seek strength in Prayer and the Hearing of the Gospel. Be reconciled with God through the Sacrament of Confession and nourish yourself with the precious food of the Eucharist. Love and defend the truth. Whoever remains faithful to the end will experience the Victory of God. Go forward without fear. This is the message I give you today in the name of the Most Holy Trinity. Thank you for having allowed Me to gather you here once more. I bless you, in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Be at peace.
Pedro Regis messages are not alone in speaking of "traitors to the faith". Although his messages have spoken of this for many years, they have now become 'red alert' messages and they, like many others, are indicating we are in the final moments before we are within the 'eye of the storm'.
An anonymous survey in a German diocese (a year or two ago) disclosed that more than 30% of priests did not believe in the Real Presence. It is, I understand, a strict condition of the Consecration that the priest intends to 'confect' the Sacrament. I have asked two priest bloggers what is the result if a priest does not believe that they (or anyone else) are able to do so. Neither responded. I am still wondering whether the congregations of the priests who don't believe in the Real Presence are therefore merely receiving bread and wine because the celebrants do not believe that Transubstantiation is occurring. Any thoughts?
Just 'cause the Priest, Bishop or Pope has failed his vows/Faith does that mean The Flock is without a Shepherd and all that entails!!?? I think not!! If the entire "Vehicle" known as The Catholic Church were to fall in ruin, should we mill around as a hopeless/helpless mob!!?? Of course NOT!!! Our Faith has been instilled within us and we will just Press-On along that Path that leads to Glory .... and drag as many as we can with us ... it has always been so in Dark Times ... like NOW!! GOD SAVE ALL HERE!!
This is a whole big can of worms When I first came back to the Church a couple of years ago I did a lot of study in this area as I wanted to be sure I was receiving valid sacraments. From your own research into this I am sure you know the priest needs to "intend to do what the Church does". Of course then the question is "Well what exactly does that mean?" I think even theologians disagree on this, but today I believe the common thought is that the priest needs to have an inner intention. Not just go through the outward motions and have a visible intention. This is actually pretty disheartening because it means if the priest doesn't believe in the true Body and Blood of Our Lord being confected in the sacrament then he may not have any inner intention and...no Eucharist.
If this is the case, and I'm sure it is, we'd better be pretty sure of the church we receive communion at...or at least the priest....
Some of the best advice I have ever heard on this subject was given by Fr. Martin. He said watch the priest and how he acts towards the Blessed Sacrament and when he is around the Tabernacle. If he truly believes God is present there then the way he acts will be an indicator. Of course this is not foolproof but it can give us an idea.
For one a priest does not need to be in the state of grace in order to consecrate the body and blood, lest few of us may ever receive the true presence today. Secondly, the consecration occurs when the words that Jesus spoke are said by the priest exactly as he said them, "this is my body this is my blood". If you recall the first and greatest Eucharistic miracle at Lanciano, Italy in the 6th century was done by a monk who at the consecration had great doubts on its transubstantiation and in this doubt it turned into real flesh and real blood. This flesh and blood with no preservatives is still present today.
You are correct that priests need not be in a state of grace to consecrate. But he does need to intend to do what the Church does. Intention is necessary. The priest at Lanciano may have had strong doubts but he may have intended to consecrate despite them. The danger comes from a priest who does not intend to do so. https://www.ewtn.com/library/DOCTRINE/INTENTIO.TXT
