The late Herbert Marcuse is known for his work in the field of "collective behavior", another euphemistic term for fomenting riots.
He is in the camp of Saul Alinsky. People are being taught all of this stuff in our colleges and universities, I am afraid.
However, "greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world." As Fatima said, we need to just keep on praying and keeping the faith in the True Magisterium because God is in control, appearances sometimes to the contrary. And He has a plan. And we don't know what it is. He will never leave us, and He and Blessed Mother will show us the way.

The Norbertines are a wonderful order. I'm sure Bishop Schneider is a inspiring retreat master. I believe I've mentioned that my son-in-law, Stephen Ronnow is a great fan of the Norbertines and a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas. The Ronnows live within an hour of this chapel. Brian, what was significant of those in red at this Holy Mass?

I am all for equal pay; I'm just not sure many employers would want to hire such a loveless voice. It is sad! And apparently so is Ashley Judd.:( Jesus, soften her heart so Ashley realizes that you are the Man she is searching for! Then she will yell, "Heaven, yeah!"

The joy of the Lord is my strength!

    Safe in the Father's Arms!

10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no schisms among you; but that you be perfect in the same mind, and in the same judgment.

11 For it hath been signified unto me, my brethren, of you, by them that are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.

12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith: I indeed am of Paul; and I am of Apollo; and I am of Cephas; and I of Christ.

13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul then crucified for you? or were you baptized in the name of Paul?

17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not in wisdom of speech, lest the cross of Christ should be made void.

Just thought I'd point to the fact that this gospel reading from last Sunday's mass was a true eye opener with regards to this whole crisis. God truly does speak to us :) May God help those with eyes see and those with ears listen!!!

    It is an eye opener.

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing,

And AL is not speaking the same thing as the Gospels. Thus the problem.

If St Paul were to hear the things we hear today, I have no doubt what he would say or do !!! Focus on Jesus and Jesus alone and everything will be clear as day

Pope Francis and his friends see all these different interpretations as a temporary little hiccup until the old guard retire or die out and are replaced by Bishops with his "spirit of Vatican 11" mindset. There won't be any re-affirmation of Church teaching on sexual morality or any other kind of morality apart from climate change and giving to whatever causes the politically correct determine to be worthy.

Cardinal McCarrick gave a talk at Villanova University in 2013 not long after Pope Francis was elected. Here's the video from YouTube
I didn't know that Cardinal McCarrick and Pope Francis were friends. I didn't know anything about the Cardinal until I did a web search about him after watching the video. (I hope none of what I read was true because it sickened my stomach).

Anyway, he does a great job at selling the Pope of mercy with the common touch. If you can't bear to watch him for a full hour, at around the 12:18 mark he talks about the lead up to the Conclave. He trots out the usual "nobody thought there was a chance for Bergoglio" line and goes on to talk about someone coming to his room and telling him that Bergoglio could reform the Church. The sceptic in me finds it hard to swallow Cardinal McCarrick's account.

At the end of his speech - about the 52:40 mark - he answers a question about Pope Francis changing the papacy. The question isn't clear but his answer is. "If he has two years, he will have changed the papacy but I think it will take more than six months. So, I think what's going to be very interesting: his first consistory of Cardinals. Unfortunately, Pope Benedict, any time he had vacancies he would fill them pretty quickly so there are only, like, six vacancies now so that Pope Francis is not going to be able suddenly to re-make the College of Cardinals. Hopefully........it doesn't matter when I die, I can't vote anyway......but if.....I'm not going so say hopefully some of the young guys will die, but I think, hopefully, enough will turn 80 within the next couple of years that he'll have a good group. And then if he names enough Cardinals who are of his mind......I could name 20 right now around the world who would be Archbishops in major places of his mind.......or even Curial officials who would be of his mind......gives time to do that. Right now, if anything happened to him almost everybody would be in place who was in place before - only a few changes. But the longer he's in, the more I think it is likely we could say that he has changed the papacy." He praised Pope Francis for bringing transparency to the Vatican bank and goes on to say that he has to keep on doing that, not just in the financial area but especially in the area of the nomination of Bishops, saying that there are holy bishops who are very conservative and holy bishops who are very liberal but the Lord needs holy bishops who are right in the middle.

I'm afraid that it looks like only direct intervention from Heaven can rescue us from the disastrous outcome of the last Conclave. Come Lord Jesus.

I can't believe a Cardinal could openly wish his colleagues to die. Heaven save us, as you say, Dolours.

All I can say Dolours is that God has the last word. These little hiccups may surprise the new denizens of "modernizing" the Church Jesus Christ founded on Peter the Rock. (everything old is new again--aka the spirit of vatican 2 rising from the ashes like an old horror movie monster: "oh NO! It's ALIVE!")but these hiccups are not going away. We are witnessing an endgame of sorts and by God's grace some churchman (in the manner of Athanasius) are not rolling over and playing dead but are watchmen on the wall and I thank God for it. Where this will lead I do not know but I do know that God will not be mocked forever. The chilling thing is the souls that will be/are being lost because of this. I'd have to say this is "itching ears" on steroids. Cardinal Burke has an ongoing Rosary Crusade as does Bishop Schneider. I would ask all here to say one Rosary a day in union with the millions who are praying around the world for their intentions. I know getting an extra Rosary in is difficult but I do think the times demand we make it a priority. Perhaps many here are already doing it. Of course everyone chooses as they will. With a smile I remember the old ancient Chinese insult: "may you live in interesting times."
