Thank you Beth, Pray4Peace, and MS7! We are desperately hoping she will turn her life around after this. Her face was crushed as the car fell on it, but miraculously they rebuilt the bones in surgery. Perhaps some brain swelling now but seemingly no permanent damage at all. I don't even think she will have scarring. Truly a miracle! Hopefully her soul will be as equally miraculously healed.
Oh thank goodness...ill remember her in my mass intentions today...may this be her turning point and she sees Gods hand in her healing!! Poor girl....hope everyone prays for her complete recovery.

Thank you Heyshepard, Mary's Child, Beth, Carol, Mario, and SG. She spoke with a priest. So hopefully that is a step in the right direction. She will need another surgery as her upper palette is "floating", but due to brain fluids swelling they couldn't do everything all at once. They may need to wire her jaw shut but she seems in good spirits and hopefully some spiritual healing will come out of all of this. Thank everyone here who is praying whether you posted something here or not. Every prayer is appreciated very much.
We will pray our evening rosary for your niece and her family. We also have a daughter who is far from her faith.
If her drug use you mention involved pain killers,please make sure her doctors know before they prescribe opioids . I have heard story of someone who broke their addiction to pain killers but then got in an accident and was prescribed opioid and got hooked again.
