I read Charlie's latest piece and he again has stressed that if he is wrong he will depart the scene.

Padraig can you give more of a clarification of why you have suddenly declared him deceived by auld nick?

As someone noted earlier Charlie's analyses have always had a political focus always. There is nothing new in this.

Now personally I think he is a genuinely honest man who will unfortunately for him be proven wrong when Trump takes office on Jan 20th.

He has stated many times that he has been right on the big things to date but for the life of me I cannot think of anything that he has foretold that has come to pass.

He clearly has natural intelligence and is a quite gifted writer with an astute political brain. These talents have served him well in his analysis to date but there has been nothing startling that has not been equally well stated by other commentators on the whole geo-political situation. I'm thinking primarily here of Father Malachi whose documented writing and recordings have given us a unique insight into the whole drama both within the church and the world at large that is unfolding before us.

If we are speaking of the entire sweep of things Father Malachi has been spot on on most events that have now come to pass.

What precisely has Charlie predicted that has come to pass(n)

Remember the whole last peaceful christmas debacle...

I have a different take on the truth of Charlie's writings. The way I read it:

"I've been strikingly right on big things in the past"... "And on the big things, I have almost always been right."
Except for 2013 being the last normal Christmas, the 2016 presidential election never occurring, his stopping his climb up Mt. Meeker which kept the Storm from breaking out in its fullness. All statements that have been revised.

"In the late stages of big campaigns, I always dealt with a rising tide of panic and agitation on the part of insiders as election day loomed closer. It would get strikingly more pressured at about six weeks out, then become an unbelievable pressure cooker the last three weeks..."
His big campaigns were pushing second-tier candidates, not one of whom ever made it near Washington DC. He often went back to selling used cars during the time he was a "political consultant."

    "those critics on other sites..."
Charlie just can't help himself. He can't keep from checking out his "reviews." He put up two posts in March denouncing the National Catholic Register after they reported on the Denver statement that banned him from speaking in the archdiocese.

"As we draw closer to an hour of fulfillment, I imagine the questions will get more intense. So long as they are civil and not hectoring, I will clear them. But I will rarely answer them. I have said what I have said and I take responsibility for every bit of it."

This is probably for the best. Charlie has been losing it at the end of his public talks lately, lashing out at people who challenged him. See the tape of his Houston talk (at the 2:17 mark) and then Racine Wisconsin (at the 1:33 mark). The pointers come from another forum.

Sorry, I just couldn't resist. And Malachi asked.

I don't understand then why he hasn't already departed!

Pardon, but would it not be December 19th, the official date that the Electoral College meets to officially certify the winner of the 270 electoral votes? That is the key date, when we know if we will have an official president in the normal way.

Booklady, You are correct but I think Maryann has alluded to one more possibility which would be bad for everyone IMO, something chaotic occurring after 12/19 if not on inauguration day itself. Do a search on inauguration day protests and you will be shocked at how many hits you get. Michael Moore has now suggested that protesters should come out that day, not all that surprising but still.

They say the strongest aphrodisiacs are sex, money, and power. I do not see the elite handing ALL power over to Donald Trump. They will be left with just their paper money, And as I suspect, all paper money is soon going to be worthless. Go CJ!

The following video popped up after I watched a video on Akita. I need someone else to figure out what the bottom line is, are they saying that they believe that due to members of the electoral college receiving death threats and pressure from various Democrats and Republicans they believe that the 12/13 deadline won't be met?

  11. I believe that even if the states being recounted didn't get included for the date of the electoral college count they would just take the allowed percentage of the remaining votes and Trump should still win.

I don't think it has to do directly with the recount. In this video they are making it sound like all of the electorates are being pressured not to vote. I think in Texas there is a law which states they can abstain but I have no idea about the other states. I only know of Texas because I read that an electoral there is not voting.
    Yeah, this can't happen, right?

  13. I've heard one of the state's electoral "managers" say they've been receiving 4000 threats a day and he was adamant that such threats weren't having any effect. I've only read of one elector who's publicly said he won't vote Trump (think he was a never-Trump from the beginning).

But then here are other more all inclusive reports:

    http://www.wnd.com/2016/11/fbi-urged-to-probe-death-threats-on-trump-electors/

The electors should start reporting death threats to the police and local police should demonstrate to the public who may wish to join in this effort that they will be prosecuted.

I think we just have to continue praying as we did right before the elections and with all our hearts so that those wiked people get cramps in their legs....

Did the "prophecy" change from "Obama won't finish his term" to "there won't be a peaceful transfer of power"?

Actually, the prophecy was updated just this morning. Apparently, Trump might just be in our political future after all. Which would mean we would after all have a leader who came from the "political process," instead of total collapse, chaos and entirely new leaders.

    "Who knows?"

I must say Charlie, that if things happen as you say about Trump not getting in I will feel genuinely sad for the man as I do believe he is making some genuinely good hearted efforts. So while we wait, let us all pray much for ourselves, for our country and for Donald Trump if things must collapse before he can take leadership. I must confess that I have again felt that old twinge of hope that “THIS leader can finally change things” but as you hinted, in my experience “Past performance” of political leaders usually had less than hoped for results, even during the time of Ronald Reagan despite the many good efforts that man made!

Ah, who knows, Bob? Trump may well play an important role in the period of regency.

I think those prophecies depend on our prayes. Some will be fulfilled, some not. More we pray, more nice things will happen.:)

No he has not changed anything. Antics with semantics. He has not changed one thing from saying Obama will not finish his term and that our next leader will not come from the electoral process. We now know that person would be Trump. So if Trump is sworn in as President on Jan 20 then Charlie will declare himself false and fade away. If everything crashes before Jan 20 and Trump does not become President that doesn't mean Trump disappears into thin air never to be heard from again. It simply means he as the winner that came out of our electoral process won't be our next President. It's very simple.

Until Jan 20 the twisting of his words is pointless. His prediction is crystal clear. It's just a few weeks away and then Charlie will either be shown to be 100% right or 100% false prophet. There's no grey area, no wiggle room on that. I wonder why some can't just peacefully wait to see if that occurs and instead continually agitate and cast aspersions?
