Thank you DonnaS for sharing this and for the info you give me. We should not give up and continue to pray, sending our guardian angel every day to President Trump to protect him and ask all angels to bring good sense to those protesters and to calm them down. We can only pray and continue to hope. The problems you describe exist also here. Families are more and more split up because of christian convictions. I am grateful that this forum exists so we can encourage each other. Also the protestants are very much aware of the lost of faith everywhere, but the miracles also increase everywhere. The good Angels are fighting with us and they will winn. Some political parties here in Belgium, in The Netherlands and in France are very happy that Trump became President. They say that what happened in the USA can happen also very soon in Europe, because the gap between government, the European Instituations and the people has become to big. They do not listen enough to the people. But for me it is more a battle between evil and good, between God's law and satan. I continue to pray for Trump and the USA. We have to keep faith and spread the real Truth in love everywhere.
Elisa, you are correct that the Trump victory will cause a political rippling effect throughout Europe. I had a friend call me today and her and her best friend of 40 years had a HUGE fallout over Trump election. It's gotten that bad that one liberal friend attacks the conservative friend. 40 years of friendship in the garbage? That's how heated this thing is. My own sister is hosting Thanksgiving. She told my mom to tell me, my husband and my father to not mention Trump's name in her home. Quite frankly, I have NEVER brought up politics at parties. It's bad manners. But my mom is saying, "Your sister is so distraught about this election. She is in mourning. Please call her and cheer her up"......ummmmm, no. I have been in mourning for 8 years under Obama and the partial birth abortion, immigrants run wild, transgender and homosexual agenda put into law and putting small businesses out. What about the Little Sisters of the Poor? Planned Parenthood? Allowing a constant flood of immigrants into a country where my own children can't get jobs because immigrants are getting them in NYC and It'NJ.....I took the train to NY last week and at rush hour the entire train was South Asian.....I was one of a few white faces......now you may say I am being bigoted, but all I ask is for my children to be given the same chance at a job as minorities who have a built in system for hire. I know because my husband is a manager and HR constantly wants him to hire minorities over whites. It's pathetic. The ONLY way out is to start your own small business.....but even minorities are given one year tax free in a new business....not whites. My entire development where I have lived since 1985 is South Asian. People walk around in Sari's and don't acclimate to the American way. They are not friendly or neighborly at all....I can't wait to put my house up for sale but I don't know where to go. I am not ready for retirement. My school system is now 65% South Asian. The other 35% is Asian, White, Black and Hispanic. The shoppes in town are all turned South Asian or Halal. We have Muslim holidays off now. But not Veteran's day or Election Day. Sorry for the rant, but I am quite sick of all of this. So I and a few of my friends went out to vote for Mr Trump so we can attempt to make America Great Again....a place where you assimilate and not take over.....
I have been a keen Bob Dylan fan for many years. He is not the liberal many repute him to be. He has himself stated that his favourite politician is Barry Goldwater. In his recent concerts he featured a song in slot 4 that he hadn't performed for a considerably long time-'It's All Over Now, Baby Blue'-and continued this pattern up to and including the night of 9th November. Significantly, he did not perform this song on the night of 10th Nov., but directly replaced it in slot 4 with a song called 'Beyond Here Lies Nothin'!
My jaw dropped when CNN used Junker as an example to scare Americans into believing that Trump's election will alienate the rest of the world. Junker would be a contender to top any poll of the most disliked person in Europe. The ruling classes and their media mouthpieces spend so much time talking to each other they forget that the majority of people are outside their small circle. Even the BBC is in mourning. Perhaps they see Trump's election as a hindrance to their blatant push to roll back Brexit - another example of how out of touch they are.
Over the past few days, every time I see the word Triumph on this site I think, of TRUMP. Only a couple of letters apart....TRiUMPh. Today I just realized that PENCE is just a couple of letters from Penance, PENanCE. Is that strange or I am I just crazy?
I haven't completely caught up on this thread so if I am repeating something that has been said already I apologize but I read an article 2 days ago which was basically was discussing how this election was more about Globalism vs. Nationalism, this particular article was negative about the situation so I didn't want to post it. Basically it was in favor of the UK remaining in the EU and explaining that Trump won for the same reasons BREXIT won. Now if you look around on the internet you will be certain to see several articles which discuss this, some for some against. To me it's more proof that we are in the end times.
On February 2016 Pope and Trump: Thrusting himself into the combative 2016 presidential campaign, Pope Francis said Thursday that GOP front-runner Donald Trump "is not Christian" if he calls for the deportation of undocumented immigrants and pledges to build a wall between the United States and Mexico. The Pope, who was traveling back to Rome from Mexico, where he urged the United States to address the "humanitarian crisis" on its southern border, did not tell American Catholics not to vote for Trump. But Francis left little doubt where he stood on the polarizing issue of immigration reform. "A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian. This is not the gospel," the Pope told journalists who asked his opinion on Trump's proposals to halt illegal immigration. Trump immediately fired back, calling Francis' comments "disgraceful." "No leader, especially a religious leader, should have the right to question another man's religion or faith," he said in statement. Trump added that the government in Mexico, where Francis spent the past five days, has "made many disparaging remarks about me to the Pope." "If and when the Vatican is attacked by ISIS, which as everyone knows is ISIS's ultimate trophy, I can promise you that the Pope would have only wished and prayed that Donald Trump would have been president," Trump said. By Thursday evening, the GOP candidate had softened his tone. "I don't like fighting with the Pope," Trump said at a GOP town hall debate in South Carolina hosted by CNN. "I like his personality; I like what he represents." He added that he thinks Francis' remarks were "much nicer" than the media reported and that the Pope had been misled by Mexican officials. Trump also said that the Pope has an "awfully big wall" himself at the Vatican. http://edition.cnn.com/2016/02/18/politics/pope-francis-trump-christian-wall/ On November 2016 the Pope: "I do not make judgments on people and political men, I only want to understand what suffering their behavior causes to the poor and the excluded." - Really? And what about calling many catholics "secretarians", "pharisees", you name it... I stopped reading what the Pope says 1.5 months ago and have had a peace of mind since that. At the same time it's very sad, sad. I wish I had a Pope. P.S. I think the replies by Trump to he Pope was good.
I personally believe the Nobel Laureate is out on his own, an opinion which Leonard shared, but the late Leonard Cohen was great and the only other songwriter to qualify as a poet. Both are the only artists of such stature that I am aware of who have written lyrics with anti-abortion content.
Good news! The Washington Post reported that Trump has revised his health care agenda to steer it more in line with Republican Party orthodoxy. The paper said the presidential transition website has been edited to now include allowing health care workers to not perform acts that would violate their religious or moral beliefs and to "protect innocent human life from conception to natural death." http://edition.cnn.com/2016/11/12/politics/donald-trump-campaign-promises/index.html
Double down on your prayers. BBC News had an "expert" on announcing that there is a women's march on Washington scheduled for the day after the inauguration. Soros and PP won't go down without a fight.
Bob Dylan is Robert Zimmerman from Hibbing, Minnesota and he has good Jewish roots, his parents owned a hardware store, at one time in his life he was a born-again Christian, I believe, I don't know what happened there.
