2016 Presidential Election Thread

It seems more like a spiritual battle, Dawn, than presidential . Clinton and her supporters and the entire liberal agenda are demonic. It seems to finally be playing itself out.

 

The "extreme" conservatives didn't go out and riot when Obama was elected and they wouldn't do it if Hillary was elected. Leftists are much more extremist. They are revolutionaries by nature. Those who are "extremist" on the right for the most part are just people who believe in the constitution and are upset that their rights have been rapidly stripped away the past 8 years.

 

And if liberals and neocons manage to wrest control back from Trump, however done, you can bet that the backlash against Catholics would be severe!

 

In Alberta, our Education minister has attempted (all at once!) to shut down a Christian Homeschooling association over alleged financial irregularities, so the anti-Christian, progressive element can take that away as well! Luckily , our courts deemed it illegal to do so, but still wrangling is in the works!

 

Two of my children have become left leaning and fancied Killary for the President (we are British and in the UK so they didn't vote) but both married liberal thinkers. My other two have kept the faith. One of them voted and I wish I knew how to post video files off Facebook because I would share with you the students at Franciscan University in Steubenville all celebrating as the Florida result came in. It cheers the heart, and you can clearly see the huge Divine Mercy poster in the background.

One thing that I don't think has been mentioned at all is how Hillary, the feminist role model, likely got her high flying jobs as a result of being the president's wife. She networked and plotted while First Lady and then slid into a senatorial role. Does any of us think she would have become a senator otherwise? I mean it's possible, but given that she has an abrasive character and is not a natural glad hander, it's not a given. For one who sneered at Tammy Wynette standing by her man, it's interesting that this is precisely what brought her close to the Presidency itself. There are many women who have succeeded through their own merits, but she isn't one of them.

 

My oldest daughter told me she and her friends were in mourning and wept all night long election night. I told her that I had a 24 hour case of the delighted giggles. I mentioned that we balanced each other out. The queen was NOT amused.

 

I had a breakdown yesterday. Today, I am rolling up my sleeves, digging in my heels, and taking on every battle thrown my way because I AM ANGRY. No more silence. It was us true Catholics who allowed this to happen. This is war and we have to be as vocal and strong as the enemy. We have our rosary, our Mass, and all of us like-minded Catholics.

(I'm sure it will earn us some brownie points with Our Lord when the Illumination happens).

Thank you. Patty for the review of Charlie Johnson's prophecies. I also believe he said that the president after that will not come from the political class. Well, Donald Trump is unusual because he does not come from the "political class." So perhaps, Trump will be the president after all?

 

I got this from Spirit Daily, apparently Hillary was not in a fit state to address her supporters on election night. I felt it was a bad show for her to just abandon them and send a message to go home. According to one report she was sobbing uncontrollably and barely able to speak.

I can understand her disappointment, having believed that it was in the bag, but is this kind of volatility appropriate for the leader of the free world? I don't believe either Comey or Obama was responsible for the result, as she apparently does. The email thing is constantly being blamed, but Trump had his share of murk and it didn't affect the voters, or not enough for it to matter. I doubt the emails were considered worse than his locker room tapes.

I feel for you! You really need your husbands support on these things.try to make it a priority to teach your children yourself even while they are in school...supply books, videos, etc.....and PRAY....for them and for your husbands eyes to be opened.

Really search for traditional/conservative/catholic media resources to school them. Find other parents that share your values and try to form a prayer group so that your children see other families sharing catholic truths.

There is no garentee that they will no go the way of the world....they have free will. But Our lady herself gave us hope. She said that many souls fall into hell because there is no one to pray for them.....meaning that if YOU PRAY for YOUR CHILDREN, you have her word that she will intervene with her grace yo bring them back to God.

 

I figured she was emotionally incapable of addressing the supporters. I don't know how she was able to the next day either. For Hillary, it was like grieving at and attending her own funeral....she knows it's the end( for her to b president). I also expect she will be working behind the scenes politically. I doubt that she, podesta and company are going to give up everything....after all...."she deserves it", right....

 

Dear Friends, worry not. We Americans have been through worse elections. I can remember my first election as an adult, when Richard Nixon took office during the Viet Nam war. Now that was a hellish time. The young people were vociferous in their hate, celebrities were going over to the enemy and giving them shows (Jane Fonda). Yet we survived that.

Here in Florida, we survived the 2000 election, the "shad" election, as many may remember. There was a lot of acrimony then, the media was obnoxiously unhelpful, as they are today. Even though three major newspapers substantiated the results, it was a mess. People rioted and the usual confusion and loathing of the other party. Yet, we made it through that mess.

Today, is no different. The candidate which the MSM predicted would lose, won. Surprise! Not, the MSMS manufactured lies about the polls, then these poor deluded souls actually believed in their own lies. In a manner reminiscent of Brexit, in the UK not too long ago, the press did their shoddy and incorrect polling, so they went to bed arrogantly believing in their own lies and expecting the people to vote as they wished, to remain. How did that work out? The Left lives in a magical world of their own misguided ideals. They actually believed their own lies.

This too shall pass. Let us continue to pray the rosary for Mr. Trump, because the forces of hell want to take him down; and to thank God Almighty for taking down the forces of evil aligned against his children.

You are entitled to feel as you do....it is depressing. But let me assure you....no, let me promise you....that you have control over all of it with prayer. You do the consecration to The Blessed Mother, pray your rosary daily, get to mass as much as possible*...., and TRUST in Jesus....and you will be fine. His graces will sustain you and help deliver your family from satans clutches. I'm not saying that you will be spared much suffering along the way....not at all. You may suffer your whole life. BUT....if you knew in the end that everyone would get to heaven, you would do it and you would be ok with that. At the end of the day....or life....that's all that matters! Getting everyone to heaven. This day to day garbage stinks....it's hard....but it's do able!
Everyday you begin to dispair or feel sad and overwhelmed, you call upon the POWER OF ST.MICHAEl to rescue you....and he will be there for you. Do it a hundred times a day if you need to. Soon you will begin to notice a peace even in your sufferings. It is your spiritual shield against the power of evil....IT WORKS!

I'll be praying for you. Been there....doing it!

 

I keep thinking of what President GW Bush said, "the constitution iss just a piece of paper". The 3 greatest aphrodisiacs to most are sex, money, and power. I think CJ is correct and they will not be willing to let go of the power to implement their evil agenda. Time is short and they were not preparing for this political outcome. Praise God.

 

Don't dispair Cathy....read my comments to Heidi....be grateful that you have the truth and if you live it, your children will come back to it. Read the promises of the rosary. If our faith is true( and it is) then keep the faith. Your prayers will not fall on deaf ears...they are Gods to deal with...trust Him!
