2016 Presidential Election Thread

I think that Pope Francis believes everything he hears in the zeitgeistian meta-narrative. Global warming, check. Those poor, innocent refugees (nearly all young, well-fed and well-dressed male economic migrants, many of them with a prediliction for crime), check. Trump is the embodiment of all evil (because the peace-makers, Obama and Clinton say so), check. Now, maybe the pope is a consciously paid-up member of the New World Order or maybe he's just gullible and impressionable. The way he confusingly conflates modernist attitudes with traditionalistic ones (his enthusiasm for confession and his frequent references to Our Lady and the devil, as just a few examples), leans me towards thinking there might be a touch of the latter about him. He just seems a much more indiscernable and complex being than the obvious liberals like Kasper and Marx. Naturally, when it comes to prudential matters, in other words those beyond his area of expertise (seems a very strong word when related to our Pope), I would not be too inclined to accord him a lot of authority. Unfortunately, there are bound to be good Catholics who will be influenced. Anyway, maybe it is God's will that Clinton win. She may be our chastisement, as she is apparently fit for anything and maybe she's what is needed for many people to finally realise what lies behind left-liberalism.

 

Amen Garabandal! I can assure you that God cares. He would have done better to not say anything. How in Gods name do you and other clerics not defend the unborn? The lives of millions of the unborn cries out for justice....and there will be justice....that we know.

This guy, I can't say his name right now, sounds like part of the global elite, New World Order folks who want to do away with national borders.

 

This Pope was at home in the small barrios and was a home body....never wanted to travel, etc.....and then he got thrust into the big world and he doesn't have a clue about that reality other than platitudes. The only way he can find his way is via those surrounding him with the wrong kind of experience....that of compromise.....and so he is unfortunately allowing them to influence him and to lead him.....IMHO!

 

Ironically, there are people who have never left their parish who are full of wisdom. Not always.

Of course, we do not know what kind of pressures he endures at the hands of the wolves. Better popes than Pope Francis have been overwhelmed by these forces.

The Holy Spirit?

 

Dolours, I'm sorry I'm confused (once again). Do you mean that the Holy Spirit is making us aware of this? The fact that they possibly had some say in determining who the next Pope should be and what his opinion of world matters should be? And there is possibly a NWO who thinks that they can act as God?

PS - Or maybe they did something worse then helping to select the present pope.

I honestly don't know. There appears to be an uncanny coincidence between their agenda and the Pope's priorities. It's also an uncanny coincidence that they got the Pope they were looking for. It's looking more and more like Mr. Soros got value for his investment in Catholic organisations. I suppose some would say that the Holy Spirit answered their prayers. I'm finding it hard to visualise the Holy Spirit as an apostate billionaire Jew, but who am I to judge?

 

I think I am going to sleep because I already feel the heat of this discussion. But it is also getting late here in Belgium.

News now.....new letter from Comey to Chaffetz stating that he hasn't changed position about Sec. Clinton....after this new review. Maybe he'll step out and let the NYPD go public. He's apparently referring to what's on Weiner's laptop....and not changing original conclusion they came to in July.

 

Please more respect for our Holy Father pope Francis. Pope Benedict XVI trusted the Holy Spirit when he retired. Shouldn't we follow his example? Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and enkindle in them the fire of Thy love.

Was just announced on FOX....have Trump on now; waiting to see if he mentions this; more than likely he will use this as another example of his "rigged" system position. Was sent to ranking members of Congress. Comey said they reviewed only emails that came from or went to Hillary....did a sweep of them all for this evidence. Hopefully some agents will go rogue along with the NYPD who has seen a lot of criminal evidence in what they turned over to the FBI.

There have been at least 3 deaths of people related to Wikileaks: the director of Wikileaks, the lawyer for Wikileaks, and Seth Rich the DNC staffer who may have been the Wiki leaker.
