Where the unravelling hits our lives directly in economic, social and political chaos. When we can look back and see that the world has changed forever - that kind of unravelling I know a little bit about economics. Things are being held together artificially by sticking plaster. I sincerely believe the economic situation cannot be sustained much longer --- so expect major events in November (here I am being prophetic). Remind me in December that I got it wrong
I know I was just joking. In a way things have been unraveling for a long time but they have sped up a lot recently. I think things have reached a critical mass. Everything is coming to a head at the same time. The debt levels of the world are simply unsustainable at this point. The bubble will burst sometime and the world will collapse like a house of cards.
It certainly seems like it is time... Immense confusion in the Church... Russia threatening nuclear war... The Middle East a firestorm... All the major economies of the world on the edge of collapse... Worldwide apostasy from the teachings of the One True Faith... The Year Of Mercy just weeks from ending... Diabolical Disorientation among all of our world leaders...

What you have said you are doing is essential. Our Lord and His Blessed Mother have made things very simple for us. God's ways are always simple and we make them complex, by over thinking it all. The Blessed Mother, Popes, Saints and messengers from God etc... have all said the most important prayer for our time and the only answer for our time is found in the Rosary. How many are praying the Rosary daily as Mary has asked for 100 years repeatedly since Fatima? Few, I assume. How many have donned the brown scapular as your Lady showed us at Lourdes, Fatima and Garabandal? Very few, I assume. How many have simplified their life and abandoned the things of this world for a life of meditative prayer and simplicity of life? Few, I assume. How many make frequent visits to our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament? Few, I assume. How many have developed an intimate, personal relationship with our Lord and His Blessed Mother and truly embrace the words at the bottom of the Divine Mercy image, "Jesus I Trust in You"? Few, I assume. If only 10% of the Catholic world embraced these gifts from God, we would be able to defeat this evil we are surrounded with. My faith tells me these are the things that matter along with the frequent reception of our sacraments.
I don't think that anyone here believes Russia to be a saintly country. Some of us see them moving away gradually from the kind of tactics that almost brought them to their knees. CNN mentioned the emails tonight but not the one about the US ruling party having set up two "Catholic" groups to cause a revolution within the Catholic Church. It wouldn't be a huge leap to compare such a group as the forerunner to an American Catholic Church similar to the official Catholic Church in China. Perhaps that's the reason CNN didn't mention the groups. One of the Clinton aides said she had no recollection of the emails and blamed it all on Russia. How much more is the US blaming on Russia with the help of the American "free" press? In addition to the above, there's the US sponsored Arab Spring and arming Islamic terrorists. It's looking more and more like the US is the new Soviet Union except that American oligarchs have more money and the American media provides them with a veneer of respectability.
on an aside, yesterday I was home from work because of Yom Kippur/day of atonement for Jews...our school district was off. I was doing housework when suddenly all the lights went out....power off. Immediately I thought EMP! On Yom Kippur, how fitting.....but it was only a pole that was hit and power back on in two hours

The new National Museum of Estonia features an exhibit that invites visitors to desecrate a virtual image of the Virgin Mary, in celebration of the Protestant Reformation in the historically Lutheran nation. A virtual image of Our Lady of Graces is projected onto a screen in a glass box. The image remains static until a visitor kicks a spot marked out on the plinth of the display. Once this area is kicked the image of Mary shatters into pieces and is replaced by the word “Reformation.” The exhibit then “resets” to the image of the Virgin Mary again, until the next visitor comes forward to kick it. I feel very very sorry for these people. Why on Earth would they ever think that Jesus would be okay with people denigrating His Mother? He is the perfect Son. If someone was treating my mother poorly they better watch out. I can't imagine what it will be like for those people when they have to stand next to Him on Judgement Day and explain that behavior.
You are absolutely right. We focus on so many things other than taking the time to pray more Rosaries. We should also be thanking our Blessed Mother for the graces that will flow from her intercession because of the 54 day Rosary Novena that just finished. We may not know exactly what massive amount of graces flowed from this until we go into heaven, but we will be filled with joy and praise when we finally do see just how good of a mother she is and how doing things like this Rosary Novena saved many souls. So let's be thankful now even if we don't see the clear results at this time. Pray Pray Pray more Rosaries. If you pray 1 a week, try and make it 3 times a week. If you pray 1 a day, try and increase to 2 times a day. If you pray a full 15 decades a day, try and increase to 5 more decades. This is our GREATEST WEAPON against evil. We know this because our Blessed Mother has told us this over and over. Why Why Why do we so easily forget this? The demons scream in anger and agony when we stop everything and begin praying a Rosary!
Our clergy surely know of the rosary. I have not heard one priest talk on or encourage the rosary for years and years. Why, when heaven keeps telling us to do so. Saints like Mother Thresa, Pope John Paul and Padre Pio spoke and had the rosary in their hands all the time? A great mystery in itself.
I agree BroAl with all of the above except North Korea & Iran will be in "The Mix" and "The Time Frame" will be measured in Months not Years! .....
