the Have you seen the testimony of a NDE of a 15 year old Jewish boy named Natan? It is in on MOG and on youtube, so if you do a search you will find it. In any case, in his testimony he points to Obama as being Gog, He talks about the second coming on Mount Zion and everything stated in Revelations. Natan stated that he was told that this all was imminent and he needed to tell everyone to repent and to do Mitzvahs. After much thought about his testimony I finally came to the conclusion that it is possible that the Joint Plan of Action is the covenant discussed in Daniel. I have also wondered if Gog is the Anti-Christ but I don't think that Obama fits what we have been told about the AC**. In any case, I looked at the date this covenant was signed 1/20/14 and came up with the following timeline: 1/20/14 - Joint Plan of Action (covenant) 8/3/17 - is 1290 days later the Abomination of Desolation*** 2/15/21 - is 1290 days after 8/4/17 AC is usurped, huge Gog battle Second Coming on Mt. Zion 4/1/21 - is 1335 days after 8/4/17 which is Holy Thursday, possibly the beginning of the 3-days of darkness (Judgment?)* Now we know that we have the WCWTS sign completing on 9/23/17 1260 days after that we have March 7, 2021 this may be when the church and Holy Eucharist is restored. This is a lot of conjecture on my part but if Natan's vision is authentic then Antonio Yague might be very close although I never believed he was correct on what he called Gog/Magog occurring on 8/24/16. * There is a prophecy from someone which states that 45 days after the AC is usurped we will have the 3 Days of Darkness. ** I also believe that someone said that there are 3 major players: Gog, AC and FP. *** If the Joint Plan of Action is the covenant then how is it broken? An attack on Europe which causes the OofD? Which makes way for the AC&FP to come on the scene in a big way beginning after 9/23/17?
If you look at a Catholic Jew Pontificates he has 8/1/17 as the possible date for a war. So maybe war breaks out on 8/1/17 and by 8/3/17 the AofD? I don't know about all of you but in my opinion the fact that many of the predictions are lining up is a bit unbelievable. http://aronbengilad.blogspot.com/2012/08/garabandal-miracle-april-13-2017.html Of course, it is possible the AC/FP are on the scene a little earlier then 9/23/17, if you read Rev 12 it is difficult to tell if this happens after the birthing or before since it states, "The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth". PS- I just checked Stelarium and on 8/1/17 Mars is in conjunction with the Sun in the constellation Cancer. This begins at the end of July at lasts for a few days into August. Now I need a Sacred astronomer to tell me what that means (he may tell me I am nuts but oh well). But I believe that the Sun represents God (correct?) and Mars is the associated with war and we know being in Cancer can't be good. Also on 8/3/17 from the Earth's perspective the Moon appears to circle Saturn (the church), strange looking. AGAIN these are not my guesses but I am trying to figure out how everything ties into the WCWTS sign and I guess that I have too much free time on my hands. I found these links to be interesting if you have time http://3daysofdarkness.com/ http://www.thepopeinred.com/antichrist.htm (they also have a link to page on the great monarch which is very good),
I take that as just the fact that the souls in Purgatory cannot pray for themselves and many non-Catholics do not believe in the doctrine of Purgatory so that those souls would not have persons fond of them on earth praying for their souls while they are being purged. Since God takes all of these factors into His justice and mercy such souls can be covered by those on earth who may be aware of souls who have no one to pray for them and then can and should include them in their own prayers. I pray each day for the souls who have no one to pray for them in Purgatory. I don't think you have to necessarily have special prayers for such but having such prayers designated by title teaches and reminds the faithful not to forget such souls in Purgatory and brings down help for them. I think it was to St. Faustina that our Lord said that it hurts Him less to be insulted by those who have never been taught the truth about Him and so they are given a bit more leeway than those who know Him and His goodness and truth and then insult and reject Him.....those, esp. the consecrated, tear at His Heart the most. So it's not just a question of having all the tickets punched! It's always a question of the heart. And since this is a consideration of the Church as well, then including such "ignorant" souls in the prayers of the faithful would as well fulfill working through the Church. After all, once in Purgatory, one is on his/her way to heaven....one way or another! Such souls, in ignorance but of good will cannot be condemned to hell.
Carol55, I remember the Baltimore Catechism, I think it was published around 1962, having a picture (we were kids)of a big steamship (the Holy Catholic Church and Salvation). Attached to the Catholic Church were lifeboats, tied by ropes to Salvation. In the lifeboats were people of other faiths who were going to Heaven by the MERITS of the Catholic Church, the Merits that Jesus won for us on the Cross, and through the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, and the Church that He founded. So Fr. Gruner is correct, salvation is only obtainable through the Catholic Church.
Oh, by the way, remember that little "winged demon" creature?....well, closer examination now points to a hoax! Back to the scorpions then I suppose!!
FWIW, 1 Macc 1:54 has the date of the Desolating Abomination -- 15 Kislev. The Protestants ignore books like Macc and so miss out on the great many historical hints in them. Also, the UN Resolution establishing Israel was passed on 16 Kislev 5708 (29 Nov 1947). In this year, 16 Kislev 5777 is on 16 Dec 2016; next year 16 Kislev 5778 is on 04 Dec 2017, which will make it 70 years since the return of Israel (Zechariah 1:7-17 -- "O LORD of hosts, how long will you be without mercy...")
HH, At the risk of starting a debate about Medjugorje which is not my intention nor am I prepared to do, here is the video of Father Gruner which I was referring to: https://www.bing.com/videos/search?...98A3930287D893E5711D98A3930287D893E&FORM=VIRE So now we have 2 sources which basically disagree with FG's statement on belonging to the church. I am not certain which is correct, if FG is wrong then one of the intentions of Garabandal which is for conversion is possibly only for the conversion of the Jews which per our catechism and the bible (Romans 11) is required for the second coming. Any thoughts? (Let it sink in a little bit) PS - What ETA stated may explain it as best as possible.
I am a novice on all of this but I didn't think that Macabees was prophetic, I thought that the events contained in it have already occurred? It states 15th Kiev year 145. Please educate me...
"The greatest opposition to Antichrist will come from the preaching of Henoch and Elias whom he will destroy after 1260 days. They will rise again after three and one half days. The first fifteen days will be a reign of terror. At the age of thirty-two and one-half years he will be slain on Mt. Olivet, probably by St. Michael. The jubilation of his followers will be suddenly cut short by a general slaughter. Forty-five days for repentance will intervene before the Last Judgment. After the destruction of Rome, Antichrist will appear and exalt himself above pagan deities and the Trinity. His name signifies one who is against Christ. Begotten, of a sinful man and of a woman into whom the devil has entered, Antichrist will be born of the tribe of Dan in the city of Corozain. The good angel assigned to him at his birth will be obliged to leave him as witches, necromancers and other disreputable characters take charge of his education in Bethsaida. Coming to Jerusalem, he will proclaim himself Christ and at first feign to be holy. He will succeed through false preaching, miracles, gifts, terror, aided throughout by the devil. An evil spirit will come out of the air and descend upon his followers. He shall feign a resurrection from the dead, cause rain to fall, stone images to speak, and perform other wonders, all through the power of the devil. The recalling of the dead to life will be only apparent; devils entering the dead bodies will cause the illusion. Antichrist will be the greatest tyrant of all time. His adherents will be marked with his sign. Devils shall be let loose from hell. The Jews will welcome him." (Richard Rolle of Hampole) I am not certain if Richard Rolle has been approved by the church or not, maybe someone can comment on this. If this prediction is true and everything else that I surmised is correct (???) than we can expect Henoch and Elias before 9/23/17 for the other predictions to work out properly, maybe soon after 8/4/17?
This would probably not happen until the Last Judgment. What we are expecting will be Antichrist before the Second Coming and the Era of Peace, a different time from the Final Judgment, I would venture to say. However, I might be wrong.
Not certain either. He states Last Judgment, so that is a very good point. This is a bit confusing because AC is before the 1000 years and the judgment of the dead is after the 1000 years correct? I need to think about this some more. Thank you for spotting that.
I don't think that's compatible with Church teaching which is that the AC immediately precedes the Second Coming and the Last Judgement. There will be no era of peace between AC and Second Coming because when Jesus comes to finish off the AC the dead will rise and He will judge all of mankind, sending us either to Heaven or Hell for all eternity.
Dolours, Can you point to the scripture that states that? I think I am making sense of everything and then I get spun around again and again. PS- We pray it, he will judge the living and the dead, but does this happen in phases? Could it be that the living are judged before the 1000 years of peace? I think from reading so many things this is just what I started envisioning. And then the dead are judged after the 1000 years of peace? Need to think more....bothering me that Richard Rolle calls it the Last Judgment.
Here's a summary from EWTN of Catholic Teaching on the Second Coming, including scriptural references: https://www.ewtn.com/faith/teachings/judga2.htm The New Advent Catholic Encyclopaedia gives a history of "Millinarianism". I'll leave you to figure it all out, but the impression I get from reading it is that although some/many early Christians believed in a literal Millennium of Christ's reign on earth, it wasn't a universally held belief and that the understanding of it as a spiritual rather than a physical reign prevailed until some Protestants in the sixteenth century adopted the belief in a physical millennium. http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/10307a.htm
I still need to read the article in the second link which you provided, I have only read a little so far. Going back to Revelations now I see why I came to the conclusion which I did: Revelation 20 4 I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years. It might be that Richard Rolle was referring to this first resurrection as part of the Last Judgment, in my opinion it is a good possibility. I forget who said it but they basically said that once things start happening we will be amazed how quickly things progress (/digress), I am starting to agree with that. I can see that after the abomination of desolation that the 3.5 years following will take us from Revelations 12 right through Revelations 19 (and a small part of Revelations 20, the piece that I mention here). I know that many people do not feel that Revelations is in chronological order and I agree with that also but I think a good portion of it is.
1 and 2 Maccabees are historic; they describe events about 200 years before the birth of Christ. "Year 145" is the year in the Syrian calendar of the Seleucid Empire, which was ruled by Antiochus. According to the footnotes of the NABRE, this date would be 6 Dec 167 B.C. Maccabees may not be prophetic in the sense of Isaiah or Ezekiel, but they are prophetic in the sense of "what goes around comes around." We can expect persecutions of the level and type described in Maccabees. 2 Macc has a section that describes how a widow with seven sons was forced to watch each son be tortured to death (and the tortures are described) rather than eat pork or otherwise betray HaShem. As for Richard Rolle, he has not been DIS-approved by the Church. His writings are not considered prophetic or infallible (as they are not a part of Scripture), but as useful for study.
Well.... back to the sun, moon and stars. Did anyone see the biggest brightest moon ever last night? Something special.
