That is what is known as a loaded question. That people, including children, are killed in wars and conflicts is an ever-present reality. I still remember, during one of the recent conflicts, a hospital being filmed and the sudden sound of a rocket being launched just outside. When Palestinian militants pusillanimously use a hospital as a human shield, do not be surprised if they are equally reckless with children.

At least Israel has a history and it was preceded by a century of escalating Jewish immigration into an under-populated backwater, that was Palestine. Most of the other states in the region are the real absurdity, random lines drawn on the map by the British and French, and bearing no resemblance to proper nations, which Israel undoubtedly is. It is these truly artificial states that have led to most of the current instability, combined with the shameful intervention by the US in Mosaddegh's Persia which ultimately delivered the country to the Ayatollahs.

This is paragraph 674 from our Catechism:
Catechism of the Catholic Church

Therefore if Israel(the Jewish people) does not exist there is no conversion and no second coming.

 

Not to belabor the point, because the hour is late, but here are a few reasons to suspect Charlie is misleading:

12/29/13 (Blog) “We have now celebrated the last traditional Christmas of the old era. People worry that America is passing away. It is not - it already has."

Charlie defended that prediction in his January 9, 2015 blog, saying that what he meant was “that the cultural consensus on Christmas was dead".

9/28/13 (Facebook) “I talk to friends who worry about the next election cycle and I indulge them, even advise them…but I roll my eyes almost every time. It will be a long time before we have another regular election cycle; at least five or six years….I do not know the moment that collapse will come. I will be surprised if we get to the end of the year and it is not fully engaged.”

3/8/14 (Blog) Our internal defense systems have collapsed. The social compact has collapsed.… For if you will not believe anything seriously is wrong or has collapsed until federal agents are at your door with the paddy wagon to take you to the FEMA camps, there is really nothing I can say that will be of help to you…

10/17/14 (Blog) “When final crash comes (and as I said, it is imminent. Do not be deceived even if things smooth out for a month. It is here), there will be a period of utter chaos for, I believe, about four to six months. I know very little of the detail of what happens in this period. It is noteworthy also that in talks and on his blog, Charlie has said Jesus will not hear the prayers of those who disrespect his mother. He has said that Jesus told him:

9/1/14 (Given to Charlie in July 2013) (Blog) “I will no longer hear you if you do not honor My most favored daughter in your heart. Ask her to pray to me for you and I will forgive you.” I am not aware of Catholic teaching that says Jesus will not forgive or hear prayers of those who ignore his mother.

Pray the Rosary. Join the Legion of Mary. Go to Mass. Stick with the ordinary. Stay away from unapproved seers. You'll find more joy and no fear and anxiety.

 

Are you entirely sure you're being entirely accurate here? You say "...Charlie has said Jesus will not hear the prayers of those who disrespect his mother" and counter with the non-sequitor that you are "...not aware of Catholic teaching that says Jesus will not forgive or hear prayers of those who ignore his mother". There is an enormous difference between active disrespect and passive ignoring. To disrespect someone requires a choice. To ignore does not.

Please remember that there seem to be few gullible imbeciles here. I know of nobody on here who has been naive enough to stake everything on these prophesies. All seem to be quite sensible, sane and prudent. Anyway, the final denouement will be soon enough.

Not necessarily. Where I live, Carol, school boards have chairpersons. School president can (and sometimes does) refer to the head of a private school.

Big problem is the timeline. Even if you accept that Charlie was chairman of the school board in a large suburban Chicago district, it raises questions, since he'd have to be elected when he was in his late 20s up to 30 years old. That's unlikely, because getting on the school board takes years of being active in school affairs, from PTA membership and youth sports coaching, to build a base from which to run for that office, even in my small town (under 20,000). And no one starts as head of the board; you have to be on the board before you move up. So the timeline doesn’t work.

If you're running for any office in a major metro area you need to have been around a while longer to get experience and contacts.

Mostly, I think Charlie makes big claims without backing them up. (And if you ask, you get called every name in the book.) This "school president" may be a small thing, but it is one in a series of questionable claims.

Just to add to the “newspaper editor” claim: Charlie now lists that job as first in the short introduction on his blog. He did not mention it to Michael Brown of Spirit Daily, however; “newspaper editor” doesn’t appear in any of the archived stories. Nor did Johnston mention this in any of the articles he wrote for small online journals in which he discussed his political career, or in the comments he made in these journals or in Disqus.

 

It's prudent to warn people away from this stuff, because many of these false or shaky seers do great harm spiritually. You can never go wrong with approved devotions and ordinary spirituality.

Why be shy?

I know Charlie is running a backroom operation here, and enlisting forum members to counter information damaging to him. I believe CrewDog has quoted a private conversation in one of his online remarks, because a quote he used did not appear in online discussion. I have seen Charlie come onto MOG at odd times, check threads -- "Charlie Johnston" and "Discerning Apparitions" -- and then disappear into conversation. He's masking his log-ins lately.

I suspect those invited into Charlie's backroom feel privileged, maybe even sworn to secrecy. I'm pretty disappointed that Padraig allows this game-playing.

 

Harper, I did say usually and it appears that he refers to a public school district.

I think that most of FreshEggs points out can be disputed and I believe that we should be cautious about approved or unapproved. As for not worrying, I suggest the same thing but heaven has gone to great lengths to give us these messages and at a minimum if you believe in Fatima there is good reason to be fearful. Even though we were told what to do to help alleviate our fear it is difficult.

At this point Charlie is probably doing what most of us are doing, waiting to see if his predictions happen. I would assume that he expected this surge of questioning as we draw closer to the timeline that he stated, nerves are on end no matter how much prayer has been engaged.

As for your backroom allegations, well, people are free to communicate privately with whom ever they want to.

 

Ms. Harper and HER Disciples are beginning to bore me ... but .... for Charlie's sake and that of his Trust God; take The Next Right Step message (TNRS) it's well that we keep this thread Active, as I've said before, the "Hits" on his site have, no doubt, increased dramatically and if he is the "Real Deal" then The Message gets out as intended .... and if he is not the Real Deal his basic message is still a sound one!
I'll say again! I don't need Charlie or any other Seer/Mystic to tell me the SHTF Moment is HERE-n-NOW .... and YOU shouldn't either!!

Good gravy, I know Charlie, I've met Charlie and his family. And if there were any iota of truth to your ramblings he'd be in here right quick to refute you and set you straight, he's kinda like that. Instead, you're exhibiting very concerning behavior and now paranoia so I'd bet he either has no idea what you're doing here but if he does he's probably just praying for you, as I will continue to. Until that sets in for you please rest assured there is no conspiracy against you and I highly doubt anyone is taking your crusade seriously, rather I would guess most feel like I do and that is concern for you. You've said your peace ma'am and we're all informed adults who can make up our own minds. If you truly wish to highlight your concern about it then word to the wise, say your peace and move on. Because now you're just exhibiting some very concerning behavior

 

You are now not just naming names, but making some very grave allegations about the patrons of this forum. If things are as you say, you should provide us with the evidence you possess for what you claim to 'know' and this would be the appropriate time to name the names of those you consider to be engaging in this perfidious behaviour.

It is hard to understand why Charlie Johnson might go to such trouble to influence another forum. Is this his practice with all the other forums he is linked to or are we just particularly gullible? What would be the point of deceiving others in this way when it is as plain as the nose on one's face that his prophetic credentials are going to be null and void if upcoming events, over which he has no control, do not follow his forecast? For short-term gain, he would prove himself a knave as well as a fool.
