    Divine Will (Book of Heaven)
Luisa, having accepted the role of victim soul, came to experience a most peculiar condition: every morning she found herself rigid, immobile, huddled up in bed, and no one could move her because of her weight, as if she were a large piece of lead, nor could they stretch any of her members. Her arms, head and legs were strongly stiffened and no one was able to stretch her out. Her body assumed a rock-like hardness. Her tiny frame grew so heavy that no one could lift it. In this death-like state, Luisa was totally paralyzed. It required the presence of a Priest who, by blessing her with the sign of the Cross with his thumb on the back of her hands, reciting at the same time the Trisagion prayer of the Byzantine liturgy, “Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, Have Mercy on us.” This would dispel the corpse like rigidity and Luisa could then be moved into a sitting position.

Divine Mercy – Jesus to St. Faustina, “This prayer will serve to appease My wrath. You will recite it for nine days, on the beads of the Rosary, in the following manner: First of all, you will say one Our Father and Hail Mary and the I Believe in God. Then on the Our Father beads, you will say the following words: ‘Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son Our Lord Jesus Christ , in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.’ On the Hail Mary beads you will say the following words: ‘For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.’ In conclusion, three times you will recite these words, ‘Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.’” (Diary #476)

Luisa prays to Jesus for mercy:
‘Adorable Goodness, infinite Mercy, knowing that You are Mercy Itself, I have come to ask for your Mercy – Mercy on your very images, Mercy on the works created by You; Mercy on nothing else but your creatures themselves.’ And He said to me: “So, it is Mercy that you want. But if you want true Mercy, after Justice has poured Itself out It will produce abundant fruits of Mercy.” (Book of Heaven, Vol. 6, April 16, 1904)

Divine Mercy, St. Faustina – In answer to Luisa’s request for Mercy, St. Mary Faustina of the Blessed Sacrament was born the following year on August 25, 1905.

Luisa: "Jesus, I want to be poor poor, little little; I want nothing, even of your very things; it is better if You keep them. I want only You, and as I need things You will give them to me; isn’t it true, O Jesus?"

And Jesus: “Brava, brava, my daughter! Finally I have found someone who does not want anything. Everyone wants something from Me, but not the All - that is, Myself alone; but you, by wanting nothing, have wanted everything, and here is all the fineness and the astuteness of true love.” I smiled and Jesus disappeared.

"My daughter, what is not enjoyed today, will be enjoyed tomorrow; what now seems darkness because it finds blind minds, will turn into Sun tomorrow for those who have eyes. How much good they will do. So, let's keep doing what we've done. Let's do what is needed from our side so that nothing may be missing of help, light, good and surprising truth to make my Will known and to make It reign. I will use every means of love, grace and chastisement. I will touch all sides of creatures in order to have my Will reign. When it will seem that the true good is about to die, then, it will rise again more beautiful and majestic."

"I must live within Mary, imitating Her virtues and Her love of the Most Holy Trinity. The mystical incarnation (The Indwelling, Living in the Divine Will) puts the soul in contact with the Three Divine Persons. In Them and in Mary, I must find my life, not only my spiritual life but also my maternal life, letting it vanish in the offering of the Son to His Faher. I must, centering everything on this same offering, eat, sleep, find joy, suffer, and simplify my whole life in this continual offering which glorifies the Holy Trinity. I must spend my whole life in union with Mary, without leaving Mary, imitating Her love for Jesus, Her total submission to the Father, acting only under the impulse of the Holy Spirit. To depart from the Gospel and from the teachings of the Cross would be to deny Christ. We are speaking in the same sense Therese of Lisieux spoke of a "wholly new way." We are incontestably in a new era of spirituality. What constitutes its newness is:
    1.
A calling of ALL, even of the laity, even of married people, to the greatest holiness.
    2. Through transfiguration of daily life, the sanctification of the profane, divinization by faith,by love and by the spirit of sacrifice ordinary life.
    3. The greatest holiness, trancendance of the message of the Cross. Even the most banal actions are made of value to the infinite by the offering of love in union with Christ, in imitation of the last years on earth of the Mother of God..." Fr. Marie-Michel Philipon, O.P.

  7. Has anybody else in the DW felt the world and all it contains has lost it's appeal. This is how I am increasingly feeling since I started trying to live in the DW. Places I used to frequent for entertainment no longer give me a buzz, favourite films are losing their appeal, I have lost my taste for alcohol, not that I was ever much of a drinker. The only thing I feel drawn to is to try to continuously live and pray in the DW. On the other hand though, I am filled with peace for the most part of most days, except when I forget to put myself into the DW. I do wonder though if this is the way I should be or am I being deceived on some level?

Our Lady takes over our life and fills our hearts with Her desires which are all of God and not of this earth. The more you live in His Will, the more you will live more of Heaven than earth. As Blessed Dina Belanger says, "He is my heaven!" And when we leave His Will we are no longer at peace. Peace is the sign that we are in His Will. Bless you.

“My daughter, you should not be surprised if you find more pleasure and you feel more inclined to write about my Will. In fact, hearing, speaking, writing about my Will is the most sublime thing that can exist in Heaven and on earth. It is that which glorifies Me the most, and takes all goods together, and the whole of sanctity at once. On the other hand, the other truths each enclose their own distinct good; they are drunk sip by sip, climbed step by step, and they adapt themselves to the human way. With my Will, instead, it is the soul that adapts herself to the divine way; it is not sips that one drinks - but seas; not stairs that one climbs – but flights which seize Heaven in the twinkling of an eye. Oh! my Will, my Will! In just hearing It from you, It brings Me so much joy and sweetness; and as I feel surrounded by my Will that the creature contains, as though by another immensity of mine, I feel so much pleasure that it makes Me forget the evil of the other creatures. However, you must know that great things have I manifested to you about my Will, but you have not yet masticated them well and digested them, in such a way as to take all the substance, so as to form the whole mass of blood in your soul. Once you have formed all the substance, I will come back again, and I will manifest to you other things, more sublime, about my Will. And while I wait for you to digest them well, I will keep you occupied on other truths that belong to Me, so that, if creatures do not want to avail themselves of the sea - of the sun of my Will in order to come to Me, they may make use of the little fountains, of the channels, to come to Me and take, for their own good, the things that belong to Me.” Vol. 13, Oct. 13, 1921

  10. Perhaps lynnfiat or somebody else can answer this question? Are there any guidelines as to how to pray in the DW for healing with a specific person?

When we offer our prayers to Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Our Lady, if we are properly disposed, the prayers are always offered in the Divine Will as She always lived in It. She gave us a beautiful prayer in Medjugorje that I pray for a sick person: "O my God, behold (name of the sick person) before You. He has come to ask You what he wishes and what he considers as the most important thing for him. You, O my God, make these words enter into his heart: 'What is important is the health of the soul.' Lord, may Your will in everything take place in is regard. If you want him to be cured, let health be given back to him, but if Your will is something else, let him continue us to bear his cross. I also pray to You for us who intercede for him; purify our hearts to make us worthy to convey Your holy mercy. Protect him and relieve his pain. May Your holy will be done in him; may Your holy Name be revealed through him. Help him to bear his cross with courage. Amen."

    Suffering in the Divine Will:
"Think that every pain you suffer is an 'I love you', a kiss, an affection, a hug that Jesus sends to you. In this way you will feel strength in your sufferings, and the joy which the pains suffered for Jesus bring. May the continuous word on your lips be: 'I want to do your Will and live in It!' In this way you will feel strengthened, and the pains you suffer will be sweetened." (the Letters of Luisa, Nov. 13, 1943)

  13. That's a lovely prayer to say for a person but my question is how to pray with an ill person. There can be a lot of discussion within the prayer itself depending on what revelations the Lord gives and I was wondering how to be disposed properly for both the other person and myself to avail of all the graces offered in the DW. Or perhaps it is enough for me to enter into the DW and proceed from there?

I would say in answer to your question about praying for a sick person - just enter into the Divine Will with a simple prayer like, "Come Divine Will to pray in my praying." In that way the Holy Spirit will pray through you - it will not be your words but His. God bless you.

Just came across this video by Father John Olin Brown, who recently died on Aug. 20th, about the fourth degree of living in The Divine Will. Not sure if it has been posted here before.

Fr. Brown was a wonderful holy Priest. He was one of the people who got the writings from the Vatican archives. Thank you Fr. Brown - you will be missed! Intercede for us!

"...it is the Will of God that His Kingdom come upon earth; therefore, it is most certain that It will come - either by means of love, or by chastisements. Otherwise, creation would be deprived of Its crowning. God would seem as though impotent in the face of the other creatures who possess fecundity because only the Divine Will would not be able to form Its divine Life within our souls." “My daughter, if Rome has the primacy of my Church, she owes it to Jerusalem, because the beginning of Redemption was precisely in Jerusalem. In that homeland, from the little town of Nazareth I chose my Virgin Mother; I Myself was born in the little town of Bethlehem, and all of my Apostles were from that homeland. And even though, ungrateful, she did not want to recognize Me and rejected the goods of my Redemption, it cannot be denied that the origin, the beginning, the first people who received the good of It, were from this city. The first criers of the Gospel, those who established Catholicism in Rome, were my Apostles, all from Jerusalem – that is, from this homeland.

Now there will be an exchange: if Jerusalem gave to Rome the life of religion and therefore of Redemption, Rome will give to Jerusalem the Kingdom of the Divine Will. This is so true, that just as I chose a Virgin from the little town of Nazareth for the Redemption, so I have chosen another virgin in a little town of Italy belonging to Rome, to whom the mission of the Kingdom of the Divine Fiat has been entrusted. And since this must be known in Rome just as my coming upon earth was known in Jerusalem, Rome will have the great honor of requiting Jerusalem for the great gift received from her, which is Redemption, by making known to her the Kingdom of my Will. Then will Jerusalem repent of her ingratitude, and will embrace the life of the religion which she gave to Rome; and, grateful, she will receive from Rome the life and the great gift of the Kingdom of my Divine Will. And not only Jerusalem, but all of the other nations will receive from Rome the great gift of the Kingdom of my Fiat, the first criers of It, Its gospel - all full of peace, of happiness and of restoration of the creation of man."
