My point about Kibeho is that Our Lady warned them, was ignored and that they inflicted the consequences of their evil passions upon themselves. They didn't receive their punishment specifically for not listening to Our Lady, but because they didn't change their ways. One should avoid the implication that not heeding a prophesy is per se a punishable offense. My understanding is that the Church does not compel one to believe private prophesy, even in the case of Fatima and Lourdes (I do myself, but that is beside the point). As for your last point, I prefer to follow the teaching of the Catholic Church on matters of prophesy and avoid sola scriptura private interpretation. I am well aware of current events, but I am not going to jump where angels fear to thread and start making assumptions about purported forthcoming events that contradict what has been the traditional, consistent, eschatological interpretation of the Catholic Church with respect to the Scriptures, the Fathers and approved private prophesy. I recommend Desmond A. Birch's 'Trial, Tribulation and Triumph: Before, During and After Antichrist' for an orthodox, detailed treatment of these issues.
One great thing that JPII preached was to use reason along with faith.....that includes watching for just those signs that our faith has spoken about or else one winds up with a loss of oil to burn when the times (so expected and warned of) suddenly come upon one like that "thief in the night"! Otherwise it appears more like as some here wish to advise....just continuing to "whistle past the graveyard"....seeming to fear more their own fears or reactions than the actual realities only speeding up and surrounding them at the moment!

I find myself returning again and again to the conclusion that all speculative commentary regarding times and dates is truly superfluous and even specious. My peace is disturbed when I stray from the original simple witness that I have followed, like John T, for 40 years, even though this following has only been truly active in me for a few years. I find peace in the simplicity and reliability of the messages and only lose my peace when I neglect their instruction. The more I put into living the mesages the clearer my mind becomes, the stronger my faith becomes, and the greater my peace is. Thank God for the example of Conchita and her uncomplicated truth. Thank God for the life she has lived and the grace she has shared. Like so many others how I would love to have one big hug from Conchita. But if she got all the hugs that others would love to give her it would be bad for her back then she would have to come to see the likes of me , a faithful Scottish osteopath. I am only asking here about biblical interpretations, so after WCWTS on 9/23/17 you believe that we will have anti-Christ/false prophet for 1260 days pretty soon after this sign and 3.5 years of no sacrifice beginning around 13/9/17 to 13/10/17. Then after 3.5 years the chastisement?
The 1260 days period is not the same as 1290 period. I now understood the 1335 days period. It is so clear Everybody thinks that it begans in the same date. But it is exactly the opposite So you can deduce the day of begining of abomination, if you discover the key. Only year will be evident after the first secret of Medjugorje, rather not. Yes, You understood me right. Then will be The Great Chastisement.
A little update. In other thread I found new information. Third special synod after Warning. Now it is evident, what for a synod it will be. The synod takes circa three weeks. I believe, that mentioned special synod regarding the unification of Churches beginns on 18th March and ends in period from 8 to 16 April. So we can determinate, that such synode can end on Sunday or in other Feast. But in March there is always Lent. So when is the first feast day after Lent? On Holy Thursday!!! Now is all clear. 2017 is confirmed.
Now you are way over my head, where is 1335 day period mentioned? Regarding last post, you may then be correct about the unification before the Miracle? How do we know that book is not in error about the timing of the synod?
When I first became a member here I made the mistake of taking a guess at dates but once I studied the WCWTS sign and Revelations, I more or less have realized that if one believes in Garabandal and is interpreting the scriptures well enough then these events should be happening soon. I do not want to take a guess at specific dates but before the WCWTS flees to the wilderness Satan appears and therefore it seems like the clock will start ticking (1260 days begins) almost immediately when the child is born. In addition, the warning is said to announce the beginning of the end of times, so it seems that the Garabandal events should occur before 9/23/17. LV, So you believe there will be yet another synod, maybe a direct result of the warning. Sort of an emergency synod that will occur before the miracle. If that is the case then it makes sense that the warning and the miracle are separated by months, as Glenn as always thought. We shall see.

I have always found Mark Mallett's writings that are sewn with references to scripture, popes, saints, Catholic Catechism, and prophets to be most compelling and believable.
