Is Conchita Jesus' Mother?! I thought not. I'm calling Conchita a fraud; not my Blessed Mother. Stop trying to bind the two together.

With your attitude, you would defend Garabandal if Conchita herself told you she was lying.

SAINT Pope John Paul II - on Garabandal

There is a book on Garabandal, written by Albrecht Weber in 1993, entitled Garabandal Der Zeigefmger Gottes (Garabandal: The Finger of God), of which a first edition copy was presented to Pope John Paul II. He later asked his secretary, Fr. (now Archbishop) Stanislaus Dziwisz, to write to the author. In the subsequent printing (2000) of the book, on page 19, a portion of the Pope's message is reprinted, as follows:"May God reward you for everything. Especially for the deep love with which you are making the events connected with Garabandal more widely known. May the Message of the Mother of God find an entrance into hearts before it is too late. As an expression of joy and gratitude, the Holy Father gives you his apostolic blessing."Weber writes, "From the attached greeting in the Pope's own handwriting, with his signature, it is clear how deep an interest he has in the events of Garabandal, and how anxious he is that they should be made known in a credible way."

On July 23, 1988, during a special general audience with the Pope at the Vatican ... "special" because it was held on Saturday, rather than the usual Wednesday... Father Robert introduced Garabandal Visionary Mari-Loli and family to him. Father Robert who was holding 7 year old Maria Dolores, one of the three Lafleur children, said to the Pope: "Your Holiness, a special blessing for your littlest children who come on behalf of The Blessed Virgin from Garabandal." Our Holy Father exclaimed "Garabandal!"

Now try to answer these without trying to force an answer that fits your beliefs:

    1. 6 local bishops don't approve it
    2. Joey doesn't receive his sight BEFORE he died
    3. "Only three (or 4) more Popes"...

It is ok to say "I know the second two didn't actually happen as they were stated, but...". At least just be honest about it.

See this is my point . You didn't read what I told you to to answer #1 . ( see post #271 ) Now go Google " Ezkioga" , and you will have your answer as to why the Bishops NEVER even bothered to interview a single person, yet formed a biased opinion. Ask yourself why the Bishops ( all of them ) NEVER sent their report to the Vatican ???? ( Maybe because these cowards had no facts to support their fraudulent ruling)
    Q3 I already answered on post 318 .

I dont expect you to know about ALL the prophecies of garabandal, but heres another for you to study & learn , before speaking.
On December 6, 1962,Conchita had a 90 minute ecstasy around 5:30 in the afternoon after which, she provided two more pieces of information regarding the Miracle: 1) One day, before the Miracle, something will happen that will cause many people to stop believing in the apparitions of Garabandal. The doubts and desertions will not be due to an excessive delay of the Miracle.

Jesus comments on belief of Garabandal before the Miracle
From Conchita, Diary pg. 204, 1966: He [Jesus] replied..."I want to tell you, Conchita, that before the miracle occurs, you will suffer much, for few people will believe you. Your own family will believe that you have deceived them. I am the one who wants all this, as I have already told you, for your sanctification and so that the world may comply with the message. I wish to advise you that the remainder of your life will be a continual suffering. Do not be freightened. In your suffering you will find me and also Mary whom you love very much... I will be with whoever suffers for me."

    https://whatisgarabandal.wordpress.com/2015/11/09/new-restrictions/

In light of these most recent restrictions by the good bishop of Garabandal. It would be wise to put Garabandal on the back burner till things get sorted out or maybe never. Of course continue on with conversion, reconciliation, penance, prayer, Mass and Confession as many, many other authenticated or less restrictive Marian apparitions have also called for.

AGAIN , KNOW YOUR FACTS HERE ! THAT WAS A MADE UP STORY BY A NEWSPAPER ! NEVER HAPPENED ! HERE'S THE PROOF, REPORTED AROUND THE WORLD ( BY GUESS WHO )

    http://whatisgarabandal.blogspot.com/2015/11/from-glenn-hudson-via-facebook-update.html

I have received this email regarding the article posted last week.
    Dear Brothers in the Faith:
Given the many questions that have recently come to the Center through various means regarding the veracity of the articles recently published in the newspaper, "El Diario Montañés," that have direct or indirect reference to the events of Garabandal, we see the need to clarify the following:
    1. No official document of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Santander has imposed new restrictions.
    2. The letter dated June 24, 2015 written by Bishop Manuel Sánchez Monge referred to in the newspaper article contains the same information from a letter written by Bishop José Vilaplana Blasco dated November 7, 2001.
    3. We have no evidence the journalist wrote those words on behalf of the diocese or the pastor are true.
    4. There is no new official letter from Bishop Manuel Sánchez Monge making any changes at all with what was previously written.
    5. Within published articles, many faults or assertions of truth can occur and these can lead to confusion.
We believe, at this time, it is better not to dwell on these issues and not enter into discussions that lead nowhere. We try to be good Christians, follow the Gospel and fulfill the messages given to us by the Blessed Virgin.
    Prayers in Union,

It all seems to opaque for me personally. Is there any one who has visited Garabandal since November 2015 and can give us a personal testimony as to the current going on's ?

Gee, thanks for acknowledging my current information . ( SMH ) Yes, I am in constant touch with people who live and work there, and there has been no new announcements, since most people feel that we are quickly approaching the Warning, I believe, as most there do, the new Bishop will wait (as the Vatican is ) to see if the Warning & Miracle happen as predicted. Very prudent.

I can understand why you say that, I feel the same way. But that is the problem anytime I am not thoroughly educated on a subject. Ask questions, get answers... figure out the context. See what stands out. Then ask questions again.

What amazes me is that Glenn has an answer for everything so far. His facts and logic line up. What chokes me is that the dialogue in this thread has turned hostile. When Glenn shows facts to the contrary to the Narrative of LM or LMBB, they dismiss the points/facts he makes entirely, get angry and fly off the handle, then make bold statements based on flimsy facts.

What they should be doing is reading into what Glenn says since he is an authority, and try to find incongruities there. At least then the debate would be interesting, and have some validity.

I noticed that Glenn has answered your question 3 and your question 1. I hope I can answer your question 2.

Like you, I had wondered about the prophesy that didn't eventuate as we all had expected, in regards to Joeys death before he recieved his new eyes/sight.

I then took this to prayer and mediation and I was struck by three things.

    Number 1)

I remember a homily given by my very holy parish priest Father O’Hallaran. It was about the prophet Jonah who incorrectly prophesied the destruction of Nineveh, it seems.
God sent his prophet Jonah to the city of Nineveh, the capital of Assyria (one of ancient Israel's fiercest enemies), Jonah's initial message seems to be one of inevitable doom: "Forty days more, and Nineveh shall be overthrown!" (3:1-4)

Contrary to Jonah's own expectations, however, the Ninevites respond to his preaching by believing in God, proclaiming a fast, covering themselves with sackcloth and ashes as signs of repentance, and praying to God not to destroy them. (3:5-9)

As a result, God does not destroy the city of Nineveh after all. (3:10)
Jonah became angry with God because God did not destroy Nineveh, Jonah had been looking forward to the destruction of the capital city of this great enemy empire! God then teaches Jonah further that God is more interested in mercy and forgiveness than in punishment and destruction! (4:1-11)
However, Jonah looked like a fraud because his prophesy did not come to pass.

    Number 2)

Our Holy Mother herself at Garabandal tells us that the chastisement itself can be mitigated by prayers and sacrifice. The chastisement is conditional on mans response to her message!

What can we learn from these storys?

When prophets speak about the future, they are not predicting an inevitable, unalterable future! Rather, they are warning people about a possible future that might come upon them if they continue in their evil ways and do not turn back to God.

But if the people do listen to the prophet's message and react appropriately, with prayer, repentance, and faithfulness to God, then the future will look very different than what the prophet has foretold! Therefore God, through Our Lady, Jonah or other prophets tells us that the state of the world, is conditional upon our response to His requests!

And when you think of it..... what other purpose is there for prophesies other than calling us back to Gods ways and warning us of could happen if the call to change our sinful ways are not heeded?

    Number 3)

I love the Gospel of St John and also the Epistle to the Hebrews. They really speak to me.

In Hebrews we see our Lord Jesus as God, yet also fully man! And in the wisdom of Hebrews 7, we read that Jesus......... During his life on earth, he offered up prayer and entreaty, with loud cries and with tears, to the one who had the power to save him from death, yet He submitting so humbly His prayer was heard!

Our Lord has shown us that in humility all that we can expect or may expect to happen, can be changed according to our submission to God’s Will. Our desire for God’s desire, will result in the ultimate good.

If Joey had offered up prayer and entreaty, with loud cries and with tears, singing God’s praises and humbly accepting his sufferings!
Who is to say that God in His infinite wisdom and love did not accept this offering of Joeys and take him to Heaven before Joey experienced the wonderful and awesome feeling that receiving his sight would have given him?

We are here just pondering the marvels of God and His individual love and compassion for all.

And we also ponder the holiness of those saints, that are so humble, that they can move the hand of God.

Praise be God in all His Angels and Saints. Amen

Wow...She really covered her bases with that first one.
Again, you can call all six bishops what you want but the authority was theirs.
No comment on Joey's sight (probably because even you know that's a square peg in a round hole)
And 3/4 Popes... that is sprh (I say it so much I might as well use the acronym from now on)

For the longest time I just thought you were and unwitting boob carrying out the whims of Conchita due to a lack of common sense. Now I'm believing you are a willing conspirator to convince people in the unapproved. Why? I'm not sure. Maybe your mom didn't love you, maybe you're a gullible person, maybe you're getting kickbacks on the books sold... again, I don't know. But you're unwillingness to face the REAL truth (not yours) and your direct insults to all who oppose you and Conchita (not the Blessed Virgin) show you are one of those three or something close.

So you're saying this seer didn't see something she saw? And you can buy into Glenn's responses to Q1 and Q3 if you want but I don't. Again, it doesn't make any sense. Also, watch the video... does the eucherist mysteriously appear on her tongue or did the camera finally pan to her tongue and it was there? Yes, I know Glenn, how could she put it in her mouth without anyone seeing? But what if it was already in her mouth? If that is the case than it proves a conspiracy with the cameraman. Which I believe it does.

They are not attacks. And this isn't a debate. I believe Conchita is a fraud and so is Glenn. That's it. End of story. There is nothing to debate.

Where are your facts? You make statements with little logic or facts to back them up. Yet you expect everyone to agree with you.

You claim that Conchita put a host on her tongue, then opened her mouth and the camera man took pictures (they conspired in this act). While this is a possibility, it stands in the way of logic. Why would Padre Pio give so many relics of his to her, if she was going to commit such a horrible sin? Padre Pio is known for having the ability to see peoples nature. This alone stands in the way of your argument.

You act like you have the final word, but it is self proclaimed. I see very little in your posts that are worthy of such definitive statements.
