Russian documentary about new world order

Discussion in 'The Signs of the Times' started by Prince of Peace, Jun 29, 2016.

  1. Just launched on the Internet a version of the documentary New World Order, now with English subtitles.
Putin and Oliver Stone, among others, contribute to this work, perhaps one of the most important documentaries of our times. A critical and current view of the world on the role of NATO, the major powers and especially Russia.

  3. Putin is building the case for when he acts. Putin didn't just "contribute" to this; he was the mastermind; it was all about him for heavens sake. And then, boom, the unsuspecting will then wonder how they swallowed this guy's own recipe for Kool Aid! And Oliver Stone?? Puleeze! I noticed that he wasn't asked about his own brutal role within the KGB during the Soviet Union against their "own" people....or at least those they took captive in order to control within their system. Noticed how he so easily dismissed that "wall"....it meant nothing really! Ha! Tell that to all those cut down trying to get out via that obstacle to their freedom. Oh the big bad USA and NATO and their "threats" which in real time have armies that have been allowed to disintegrate on purpose by their own current leaders and that "big" nation under Obama has such a reduced military that their own fighting volunteers must now go to "graveyards" in order to replace their old parts on the very "fighting" instruments they are forced to depend upon. Meanwhile Russia is building and developing their fighting machines like never before. Pure propaganda. Those continuing to anoint Putin....well, I've got a bridge to sell you.

"No wise person in the world would dream of Russia attacking the Baltic States"!! Except maybe the Baltic States themselves who are begging the West for protection along with Poland and getting next to nothing in comparison to the threat against them.

The decision to review recognition of the independence of EU-member Baltic nations follows the Russian Prosecutor General's Office ruling last year that Crimea was illegally handed to Ukraine in 1954; and is certain to alarm the small Baltic NATO-member nations of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
    .................

In the context of Russia’s recent aggression, it cannot, unfortunately, be dismissed.

Russia’s Prosecutor General’s Office has launched an improbable but nonetheless outrageous investigation into the legality of the independence of the three Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania).

The Baltic countries were grabbed by the Soviet Union during World War II and added to the long line of oppressed neighboring states along Russia’s borders.

As in Crimea, the Soviet government used a massive influx of ethnic Russians to cement its control, populations that remain and continue to cause a host of problems.

Putin would never have put this out for world consumption if he had any fear of Obama whatsoever....never would he have chanced this propaganda and challenge if Reagan were in office or if Germany didn't fear their loss of energy, being dependent upon Putin. But as he said here in so many words...."hey, we're willing to deal"! He has tested and knows, feels confident that he can move on without repercussions. No threat exists against Putin from the West....only from within his own disenchanted country if he doesn't use this opportunity handed to him on a silver platter.

I don't think that anyone here is claiming that Putin is an angel. He isn't. Neither is he the devil. He's just another self-serving politician in a world full of self-serving politicians. NATO is a military alliance of countries led by self-serving politicians.

Putin is mending fences with Turkey. So is Israel. Not so long ago, the US and UK were pushing the EU to fast track NATO's Turkey into membership. Thanks to US efforts to export democracy to the Middle East, Syria and Lybia are destroyed and the EU was coerced into pushing ahead with Turkey's accession in an effort to stop the waves of migration which Turkey seems to be able to turn on and off like a tap. Ironically, the likelihood of Turkey joining the EU was among the reasons people in Britain voted for a Brexit. And all the unrest and manipulating of Muslims didn't start with Obama. There's something rotten in politics all across the world, and it didn't start in the last few years. They all use propaganda and they all have their media hacks.

Who do you think is behind the threat to Putin from within? Who pushes gender issues on foreign countries? It wasn't Obama who coined the "Religion of Peace" mantra. Who exploits every dissident group in any country that doesn't toe the line? NATO has adopted Soviet tactics. I can't think of a single NATO country that doesn't preach about freedom and democracy while their business leaders would crawl over coals to get a slice of the action in China. Not only are they all hypocrites, they are dangerous hypocrites.

  5. Putin "mending fences with Turkey"....ha! Two devils dealing with each other do so under the threat of whoever has the advantage at the moment. And it's not Putin offering such mending. It's Mr. Erdogan begging for some kind of assistance....from anyone willing no matter the possibilities in the long run. Turkey is completely surrounded by hellish choices....as we've recently witnessed. And one of those other satan minions looming over Turkey is Iran....and guess who just might wield a bit of influence with that one in order to offer Mr. Erdogan a little containment of that threat!! I'd say they are rather at a disadvantage momentarily, with ISIS as well....another "opportunity" for Mr. Putin while he plays Assad as well for his own purposes in the region. So everyone is a hypocrite these days....well, welcome to the real world! But the current "where the action is" neighborhood isn't within the U.S.'s or NATO's purview. They're too busy letting the enemy in within their own borders! It just may be down the road though that Mr. Putin might get his clock cleaned by President Xi Jinping.

The only fences mending are those in Saudi Arabia, Turkey and the U.S. And all three have made a mess in this world.

Erdogan is most definitely NATO's devil. They brought him to power, massaged his ego and walked him into a nightmare. Turkey was doing ok until they got involved in destabilising Syria and Iraq. Now Erdogan is trying to mend his fences with Russia because he realises that he won't have a say in a post-war Syria, he has lost the support of his Kurdish minority and the jihadis are turning on him. Satan has more minnions in the neighbourhood than Iran, among them NATO's allies Saudi and Qatar. Putin's biggest asset is Lavrov who is worth ten of John Kerry.

Sure, the Chinese could turn on Russia eventually but right now they have more to gain by staking their claim to potential oil fields in the South China Sea. Obama keeps warning them off, but nobody pays attention to Obama other than the sycophantic media.

Yes, the real world where I realised a very long time ago that we do well not to put our trust in princes.

    1. Russia is not the Soviet Union.

    2. The Catholic Church has been praying for Russia for close to 100 years now. Monasteries, Convents, Churches, and Lay People. If you think this had no effect you are dreaming. There is an old saying in the church, if you want to know the future find out what the Convents and Monasteries are praying for.

    3. 70% of Russia now defines themselves as Orthodox Christian, where as during the Soviet Union it was 30%. While the rest of the western world is becoming more pagan by the day, Russia is becoming more Christian. What do you think the effect of this is?

    4. Our Lady in Medjugorje in 1981 prophesied that Russia would come to glorify God more than any other Nation.

"Russia will come to glorify God the most; the West has made civilization progress, but without God and act as if they are their own creator.” – The Virgin Mary at Medjugorje 1981

    5. In the TLIG messages Jesus states that he will raise Russia up, gather Her shepherds, and set up his throne in her. Russia will be glorifying God, while the rest of the world commits abominations

"Russia, My Loyalty and My Gentleness will sanctify you; Russia, My daughter, acknowledge Me entirely and I promise you on oath to exalt your descendants like stars and give them sacred vestments; acknowledge Me entirely, Russia, and I will annihilate all your opponents; I will, if you acknowledge Me wholly, do fresh wonders in you to prove to everyone living under the sun, My Mercy and My Holiness;"

    9. Putin had every right to protect the Crimea. The Crimea belonged to Russia long before it ever belonged to the Ukraine, and the people there define themselves as Russian not Ukrainian. After the west meddled in the Ukraine evicting Yanukovych, it created a huge mess (as usual) trying to increase its influence.

Have you ever thought that Russia is not the same State as the Soviet Union?
Have you ever noticed that everything that Russia does as of late is a success?
Have you ever thought that perhaps God has Ressurected Russia from the Dead?
Have you noticed that everything happening in the west has been nothing but a string of failures for the last 20 years?
Do you think it possible that Russia will be the Means that God Glorifies himself against the abomination in the west?
How much more will it take for you to see the obvious?

You may not like Russia and Putin, but it is clear that God is using them right now.

The last time I checked both China and Russia

    - have control of their Central Banks in a world where the rest of the Central banks are owned privately.
    - have mutually beneficial trade agreements.
    - do not force their will on each other.
    - engage in war games together.
    - are in trade agreements which bypass the USD, and are encouraging other nations to follow suit.
    - currently have the best relations that they have ever had.

    So please educate me

    1. What is the benefit of China to engage Russia in war?
    2. What is the benefit of Russia to engage China in war?
    3. What are the reasons for either of them to go to war against each other?

From where I stand the answer to all three questions is NONE.

P.S. China is on track to become a Greater Christian Nation than the US in 15 years. Is this a Coincidence?

US Has Another Close Call With Russian Ship in the Mediterranean

A Russian ship again made a close approach to a U.S. Navy ship in the Mediterranean Sea in an encounter that American officials are labeling "unprofessional." [oh, those nasty aggressive Americans]

On Thursday, the Russian frigate Yaroslav Mudryy came within 150 yards of the guided missile cruiser USS San Jacinto -- two weeks after the same Russian ship came within 315 yards of the American destroyer USS Gravely.

  11. Outside of all of the lovely hopeful articles about what great changes are occurring within the Russian borders....of course still no permission for Roman Catholics or for that matter any other conservative Christians to preach to the people openly and without being carefully "observed" when they only visit for a couple of days.....Russia will not be converted until she is consecrated in fulfillment of the specific requests of Fatima. Then will come the amazing example to the rest of the world as also prophesied. I for one do not dismiss the Father's request through His beloved daughter quite so easily. Until that time Russia will continue to spread her errors effecting the whole world...as we currently see with all the Putin muscle flexing and propaganda going on while attempting to take advantage of all of the openings given to him with no strings attached.

  12. And that lovely budding China/Russia alliance with the background of historical baggage of each in their approaches to the rest of the world: (makes one grow nostalgic for that dear melody....."You and me against the West" - um, sorry, meant world of course)

China and Russia have increased their security, economic and diplomatic relationship, complicating an already fragile Asia-Pacific region. Many analysts have viewed this enhanced collaboration as the beginning of a partnership set on destabilizing the Western-led order and diminishing the capacity for the United States to influence strategic outcomes in the region. But this line of reasoning affords primacy to the material components of Beijing and Moscow’s newfound affection for each other, neglecting the salience of the historical and normative elements that inform their relationship.
In fact, the perceived belligerency of this China–Russia nexus is driven by a shared historical and ideological connection, which has manifested in both states adopting an authoritarian style government. Some analysts perceive this rigid style of governing as a representation of their mutual mistrust of the West, and a shared desire to rewrite the rules that shape the global order.
The willingness of Russia and China to deploy, or threaten the use of, military force to further their national interest, and challenge existing regional security orders, appears to confirm such pessimistic assessments. Whether it is Russia in Ukraine, or China in the South China Sea, both have demonstrated a militaristic dispositionto resolving their historical territorial grievances. According to one such view, “Russia and China are now competing to arm anti-democratic and anti-U.S. regimes in Latin America, and may be cooperating to help Nicaragua build a trans-ocean canal, which may yield port access for Russian and Chinese warships. Both countries actively support U.S. enemies in Syria and Iran.”

The film (which I watched all the way through) is certainly very interesting... and it is just as certainly Kremlin propaganda destined for shaping Russian public opinion, as is patently obvious from the obsequious behaviour of Putin's interviewer in the final minutes. My own sense is that this is what the Russian audience is being fed in order to prepare them for a possible war which will be presented to them as an existential necessity on the basis of self-defence of the Motherland as it is surrounded by enemies. True to tradition, Serbia is of course portrayed as a completely innocent victim of NATO aggression in the 1990s...

What transpires very clearly is the Russian political elite's deep-seated resentment of the independence of the nations of Eastern Europe formerly in the Soviet Bloc, resentment which can be found in numerous threatening statements from Russian political and military leadership in recent years towards Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Moldova... This is coherent with what is effectively a legitimation by Putin of the division of Europe at Yalta in 1945 (as a realistic recognition of the balance of power), leading to decades of Communist oppression for the Eastern Bloc. In the film Putin makes an apology for the Soviet Union as initially based on attractive national values and 'devotion' to the 'ideological Motherland' which only later lost their 'attractiveness'.

Leaving aside the question of Oliver Stone's political preferences, just who is Sahra Wagenknecht, the Bundestag member who features extensively in this film? She was vice-president of Die Linke (having been a Communist Platform member of the ex-DDR PDS party, her early academic work in the 1990s having been on Karl Marx's interpretation of Hegel).

The most chilling quote from Vladimir Putin comes at 1:07:20. 'As far back as 50 years ago, I learned a good lesson in Leningrad streets: if fight is inevitable, it's you who should hit the first!' Think about the geo-political implications here, then Google the words 'ZAPAD military exercises'.

No, there's still no permission for Roman Catholics to proselytise but that's also the case in Israel and quite a few Muslim countries that NATO regards as allies. They don't suffer the same restrictions as in Saudi, that stalwart NATO ally where even owning a bible could get you prosecuted, and their priests aren't being hacked to death in the name of the unmentionable strain of Sunni Islam - that seven letter word that Obama fears to say which starts with rad and ends with ical. Let's be honest, some of those bible bashing, prosperity Gospel, conservative Christians might as well have CIA tattooed on their foreheads. If their version of evangelising weren't so in your face and political, a tactic that wins them converts in Catholic Latin America, other Christian groups might not be treated with such suspicion.

Why can't you just accept that every country uses propaganda and most if not all countries will stoop to subversive tactics to protect their own interests. Painting Putin as the devil doesn't make NATO's star shine any brighter.

There is always two sides to the story.

Clearly the incident with the Russian frigate and US missile cruiser was the fault of the US Cruiser.

“The US sailors, in particular, neglected Rule 13, which stipulates that an overtaking vessel must keep out of the way of the vessel being overtaken,” the Defense Ministry said. It added that the USS Gravely had also violated Rule 15, which says that a vessel that has another vessel on the starboard side must yield and avoid crossing ahead of her.

The ministry also said the Pentagon should take note of such incidents rather than accuse the Russian Air Force and Navy of unprofessional conduct. “US sailors allow themselves to neglect key foundations of navigation safety without thinking of the consequences that dangerous maneuvering in a heavily trafficked maritime area might involve.”

    https://www.rt.com/news/348677-destroyer-patrol-boat-mediterranean/

If anyone is flexing in this event clearly it was the US, however I would surmise with so much traffic in the Mediterranean this type of event occurs regularly on both sides.

What concerns me most is the western mainstream media painting the event as Russian aggression, when clearly the US Cruiser had made mistakes in operating procedure when overtaking another vessel.

Please tell me what errors Russia is currently spreading.

From where I stand the errors of Russia that have spread are of an ideology that Russia no longer operates under. I see the main error being relativism which has spread into the west, something that Russia does not tolerate any longer.

The way I see things playing out as it currently stands is that if Russia fulfills the prophecy of Fatima, they will have no option but to believe in the messages of Fatima. This will be a door opening towards the unification of the Catholic and Orthodox churches.

This is laughable. So the reason that China and Russia are trading is because they are trying to destabilize the influence of the west and the US in particular? Give me a Break! Do you see any other nation in the world complaining about Trade agreements in the west as a means to diminish their influence?

Currently the American dollar is going down the toilet due to poor fiscal practices. The world is tired of trading goods for a piece of paper that loses value every day. The reason that China and Russia are trading is to protect their national interests. The US and the west have only themselves to blame for their diminishing capacity to influence other nations.

What a sense of entitlement the west has according to this statement. The west has the right to determine what the world order should be? how smugly arrogant. Russia and China are independent nations, and do not have to answer to the west. If both nations decide to have trade agreements that are mutually beneficial that is up to themselves and themselves alone. If this upsets what the west desires for a certain kind of world order, too bad!

Much like the Western use of force in the middle east, destabilizing the region entirely over the last 25 years, crescendoing with millions of people having to leave their nations that are entirely destroyed. The fact that Russia and China no longer kowtow to the west in light of this is hardly surprising, and I don't blame them either. The west meddles far to much, and causes far too many messes.

On top of this if the west had never intruded in the political affairs of the Ukraine, after Victor Yanukovych decided to pursue ties with Russia instead of the EU. It would still have the Crimea and there would be no war in Donetsk.

This last quote takes the cake!

So now because Russia and China have decided to bypass the panama canal by opening one in Nicaragua, it is considered an attack on the west? Ridiculous! There is nothing more western than competition. Another canal being opened is a good thing, but this article uses fear to suggest it will be used to move warships. I hate to burst your bubble but one direct strike on either canal will render it useless. So there is no need to worry about the movement of warships in the canal.

As for supporting the enemies of the US in Syria. Syria was better under Assad before for the war for all peoples, in particular the Christians living there. Russia is right to help Assad to re-stabalize the country, and is doing a good job cleaning up the mess the Coalition has made. The US thought it could go in there, change the order, and have another lapdog. This did not happen as they wished, so now when Russia tries to bring order back they become the bad guy.

China and Russia may not be right to support Iran in my opinion, but the US has been doing nothing lately but giving into Iran left and right. The US lifted its sanctions against Iran, and gave it access to 150 billion dollars in frozen accounts. Suggesting that Russia is supporting US enemies in Iran, while doing all the previously mentioned is hypocrisy.

I will qualify the following with this... Milosevic is a Monster, and Serbia committed horrible crimes following the break up of Yugoslavia. I am also very grateful for the involvement of NATO after the break up of Yugoslavia as it prevented a lot more war. That being said why is it that NATO got involved in the first place? There were many horrible events that were happening in the world at that time, yet Yugoslavia is where they chose to focus their humanitarian efforts. Why not Rwanda, Northern Ireland, or Guatemala where during that time there were all sorts of atrocities happening. Is it possibly because after the break up of the Soviet Union it chose to still follow socialism?

"That U.S. leaders have consciously sought to dismember Yugoslavia is not a matter of speculation but of public record. In November 1990, the Bush administration pressured Congress into passing the 1991 Foreign Operations Appropriations Act, which provided that any part of Yugoslavia failing to declare independence within six months would lose U.S. financial support. The law demanded separate elections in each of the six Yugoslav republics, and mandated U.S. State Department approval of both election procedures and results as a condition for any future aid. Aid would go only to the separate republics, not to the Yugoslav government, and only to those forces whom Washington defined as “democratic,” meaning right-wing, free-market, separatist parties."

    http://www.michaelparenti.org/yugoslavia.html

The west is not innocent in Yugoslavia. There is a pattern, and it normally involves return on investment, even if the investment is war.

So you believe that Russian resentment towards the Baltic states has everything to do with Russian elites despising their independence, and nothing to do with the fact that NATO is building up forces in those same Baltic Nations.

"But how are Russian troops deploying inside Russia “provocative,” while U.S. troops on Russia’s front porch are not? And before we ride this escalator up to a clash, we had best check our hole card."

    http://www.wnd.com/2016/05/russia-resents-us-for-good-reason/#!

This is a chicken and the egg argument. Is Russia getting ready for war because the west is building up Military along its border, or is the west building up military along the Russian boarder because it thinks Russia is going to invade Eastern Europe.

Even the links to the military exercises you posted could just be Russia preparing its military for what it sees as a threat to its nation. The fact that Russia does not have a privately owned central bank tells me that it is Russia that needs to be afraid of being invaded.

"But how are Russian troops deploying inside Russia “provocative,”

    Because they're not "inside Russia"....hellooo!

So you believe that Russian resentment towards the Baltic states has everything to do with Russian elites despising their independence

Although the "you" here isn't moi, well, yes, any territory around the current regime controlled Russia that is independent of them makes their goal of greater hegemony more difficult. Before the disintegration of the SU which has been more than a thorn in the side of Mr. Putin, such controlled territories made their image of power in the world a lot stronger. He is desirous of regaining that image. Very simple....for anyone very familiar with the history and the man.

and nothing to do with the fact that NATO is building up forces in those same Baltic Nations.

Now that is laughable when compared with the actual threat to the Baltic states. They are the ones watching such a so called "build up" which they consider only for show so far and incapable of truly defending them with the limited size of such "training" shows. Contrary to what you see as simply an invitation to live under such "tempting" circumstances again (after all what you write is a stellar travel agency invitation to jump at the chance to experience the all encompassing hospitality of the benevolent nations of China and Russia....take your choice...or perhaps, if you're even allowed to leave one, once you're there, for the other....and I would sincerely have my doubts about that!) as those states have indelibly burned into their memories they have chosen what appears to be anathema to yourself.....begging for help from the West in order to reassure them that they won't simply be left again to be gobbled up by the encroaching bear. You would like to think that someone who had previously had his home demolished by a tornado shouldn't at all be alarmed when the weather service announces that another grave weather system of the like is again heading their way.

Ah, if only the geopolitical history of the world really matched your star struck scenarios. Just why aren't those populations surrounding the "magic kingdom" of Russia just clamoring to be so delightfully included in that "magic" again??? If only that Beast could just be kissed and "loved" by the envied Beauties of the world it would be immediately tamed to everyone's delight. That can only be hoped for, btw, when it is finally consecrated to the Immaculate Heart as ordered by heaven....otherwise it continues to spread its evils....

China and Russia may not be right to support Iran in my opinion, but the US has been doing nothing lately but giving into Iran left and right.

Thank you for proving the point I've stressed here and there....that Obama has been supporting Mr. Putin's goals from the very beginning. That old saying but with a little twist: "The 'enemy' who has the same enemy as myself is my buddy"! They at least are all aware of that fact....only the willing duped aren't as yet capable of digesting that truth to their own demise.
