Even without the typos, why on Earth would anyone pay the least attention to me? A great sinner, theologically totally illiterate and clearly crazy as a bat. The only thing might be said is that I'm a poor sap who is fond of praying.

Go straight to Our Lady and ask her yourself, do as she tells you. I am sure she at least does not do typos. :)

To be quite honest I was always astonished that anyone at all ever visted this forum in the first place. It certainly could never have anything to do with me. But Our Lady drew folks. I would have left the site as soon as I saw people were mistaken and started to show me the least respect but Our Lady insisted I stay and put up with it. So I did. I am so glad people at last have finally woken up to how useless I am. I always tried to convince people of this but clearly failed.

I know if I visited a place like this and someone out of the blue declared the Pope a heretic I would run from the place as I would from Satan himself. Although since the nut invited me to go to Our Lady in prayer, I would not see any harm in that and would do so.

But you are quite right, I am totally useless and can't even type right.:) I have never ever really understood why folks bothered with me at all. :) But this a good chance to leave this place and find someone learned and Holy and who can type right. :) Why waste time here? The internet is full of a billion better Catholic sites. I would certianly encourage you and everyone else to do so.

A billion yes but none of them claim to be in touch with Our Lady or were instructed by her to create this. I don't want to engage in a lengthy debate either Padraig just trying to understand what you have come to understand. Did Our Lady tell you the Pope is a heretic or did you feel it in your own soul in prayer?

I recieved an insight in prayer last niight. I always supected it but waited prayerfully. I was also shown something of where this is going to take us. It is going to snowball and get much, much , much worse that it is now. Just as Catholic Prophecy and the Book of Revelations has always indicated.

We ar eonly at the very start of it.

Let's put our cards on the table. What are we saying?

    1. The Pope is a heretic like many before him on the throne of Peter.

    2. The Pope has formally taught heresy and actively propagates it.

Once this is clarified we can proceed with a much more deliberate and directed discussion.

I suppose if it is 2. then we are in fact saying the Pope is an apostate a wolf in sheep's clothing.

This would be a judgment that I for one will not make.

I have felt it too but it is hard to know what is the light and what is the dark and even harder to come right out and state it one way or the other because I just don't know. I am not a very happy person these days in the world. It is hard to find happiness in anything really but I don't view this as a bad place to be because as we are on the precipice of all proverbial hell breaking lose what better place to be then in seeking and desiring to be fully in the arms of the Lord and receive all our consolations from Him and only Him. Nothing in the world can bring one happiness because we don't belong in the world we just happen to be here. We simply must seek and desire to belong to Jesus and surrender completely to Him. This is no easy task but if my general worldly feeling is a right one then I feel I am well on my way from "divorcing" if you will all the world and preparing as a bride should for the wedding feast of the Lord. He is truly coming for His bride and we all should be finding our joy in Him and preparing for him. As for the pope I just don't know as I try to piece it all together. I still feel he is essential for the times we are in but not in the way you may think but more in the way of preparing all, especially the lost souls for the return of the Lord. Could he be a wolf in sheep's clothing? Sure but in time as you say we will know when/if he is it becomes more clear as the Lord thins the veil and exposes evil for all the world to see.

Padraig, Please don't put yourself down, we come here to help each other and Andy just gave you some good advice. You have done your job, our radar is up and that is a good thing. As Andy says it will become clearer.

I have been coming to this forum for over two years since Charlie Johnston recommended it to me.

I rarely comment because I like to listen.

But even as I have a strong reaction to this thread I want instead to focus on the good I have found here in this raucous community that Jesus and Mary love so dearly.

    You are dearly loved Padraig.

Your motto has always focused me on what is truly essential.

Sometimes I feel confused here but I have always felt safe.

    Why?
    Because I
Remember reading about your experiences in the short stories you wrote.

You are true (as compared to right).
And in these times that is what I look for.

All I know is you are cherished.

I don't see how any discussion will cast more light on this dilemma. If you were to ask me the old once-rhetorical question: Is the Pope Catholic? my honest answer would have to be "I don't know". I would have to give the same reply to a question asking "is the Pope a heretic" because it's above my pay grade and I need to make sure that I'm not a heretic because I simply don't trust Pope Francis. Before one particular Mass I prayed hard for guidance because I'm really troubled by the Pope and especially his close circle of friends who constantly remind me of the old saying "show me your company and I'll show you what you are". The reading at that Mass was the one about not being saved by the law. I don't know whether that was my answer because no sooner do I suppress the uneasy feelings than the Pope preaches us some new controversial message via the secular press. No use pretending that he isn't doing this deliberately because his annoyance about the women deacons spin proves that he is aware of what is being portrayed on other issues and makes no effort to correct them. In other words, he is knowingly preaching via the secular press to people who will never verify the spin by checking the Catechism. That could be considered to be preaching heresy.

Our guarantee is that the Church will not preach heresy, and thus far the CDF and some bishops have protected the Church from preaching heresy by telling us that everything the Pope says must be interpreted in line with the Catechism. So far, so good. Any personnel changes in the CDF would leave me very worried. Thank God for the CDF and the dwindling number of faithful bishops.

As to Padraig's locutions or visions, no disrespect to Padraig but we have always been taught to be careful of such private messages because they come via humans who could be projecting their own concerns when interpreting the messages they receive. We must let today's concerns be sufficient for today and worry about schisms if and when they happen. Hope that makes sense.

Padraig, you are being deceived. I find it no coincidence that today's Gospel is the following. You and the few here who constantly harp on everything our Pope does are the modern day Pharisees and I think if you're honest with yourself, you see that you would have done the same thing to Jesus in His day on earth. The loss of peace and constant worry you have about our Pope and every single thing he does does not come from heaven. Pope Francis is doing God's will, we completely understand you and the few others that constantlly harp don't think so, but why do you harp on it day after day? We are prayerful people and we have concerns over what he says, but through prayer we have been led to trust Jesus' promise and trust God and not become one of the Pharisees. Like Jesus, our Pope is calling the sinners at this hour, not us:

    Matthew 9:9-13

As Jesus passed on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the customs post. He said to him, "Follow me." And he got up and followed him. While he was at table in his house, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat with Jesus and his disciples. The Pharisees saw this and said to his disciples, "Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?" He heard this and said, "Those who are well do not need a physician, but the sick do. Go and learn the meaning of the words, ´I desire mercy, not sacrifice.´ I did not come to call the righteous but sinners."

We all make typos but few pronounce that the Pope is a heretic. And honestly the number of typos suggested to me that the posts were not seriously considered before the post button was hit.
I'll sign out of this thread now, aim for the Divine Will, and suggest that you look up loath in the dictionary!;)
I think this is just a bad hair day all round so i'll say sorry now for any offense / offence I've caused!

Funnily enough I noticed the first reading from Amos in todays mass, which I belive is strongly prophetic.

    Amos 8:4-6, 9-12

4Hear this, you who trample upon the needy, and bring the poor of the land to an end, 5saying, "When will the new moon be over, that we may sell grain? And the sabbath, that we may offer wheat for sale, that we may make the ephah small and the shekel great, and deal deceitfully with false balances, 6that we may buy the poor for silver and the needy for a pair of sandals, and sell the refuse of the wheat?" 9"And on that day," says the Lord GOD, "I will make the sun go down at noon, and darken the earth in broad daylight. 10I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; I will bring sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness on every head; I will make it like the mourning for an only son, and the end of it like a bitter day. 11"Behold, the days are coming," says the Lord GOD, "when I will send a famine on the land; not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD. 12They shall wander from sea to sea, and from north to east; they shall run to and fro, to seek the word of the LORD, but they shall not find it.

Yeah, but everyone knows that the Gospel reading trumps the 1st reading, so there :)

Seriously though, I also find that 1st reading prophetic but not speaking to our Pope. I will keep praying for you, brother! Trust.

I know nothing about anything but eighteen months ago I knew even less. I had just started to pray more, was led here and my life has been on an improving prayer track ever since.

That's what this forum has done for many of us, I am sure. Thank you Padraig.

In the confusion ahead, we have been asked to keep our eyes on God.

I think we can all do that. I know we can.

Terrible things might happen in Rome but we have a duty to pray and keep praying, because we know it will be all good in the end.

(I know that is so easy to type on a rainy Friday evening, when I have no clue what's about to happen, but what other choice is there?)

How much time, Padraig, before you think we all see we are in meltdown?

  17. Well, then that would make pope Benedict a liar. Considering what he just said in public about how much hope and comfort that Pope Francis gives him. I am constantly reassured of Pope Francis 's God given authority despite confusing headlines and misquotes because our lady has said over and over and over and over again throughout all of time throughout all of her apparitions...NO MATTER WHAT...STAY WITH THE POPE.
Be very careful here my friends. Do not lose your integrity, over Headline News.

The Abomination of Desolation may already have happened. According to Vassula Ryden this happened when Cathedrals in Europe were sold, and in the place of the perpetual Host things like bars, casinos, hotels, and rock climbing was put in its place.

"Vassula spoke about the Apostasy, especially in the West. As a result of abandoning God, the world has become extremely violent and evil. Jesus says that people have transformed everything that is good into evil, and instead of praising God, they boast about themselves. Many Christians have rebelled… Christ’s churches are either shut down or sold and turned into restaurants, casinos, sports and entertainment facilities… And the Holy Altar, on which His Sacrifice was celebrated, remains as a table on which drinks are served or is used for any secular purpose! This abomination of the desolation is what Jesus quotes from the prophet Daniel in the book of Matthew Chapter 24! These are the signs of the End of Times."
