Cardinal Ratzinger: We Have Not Published the Whole Third Secret of Fatima

Actually to clarify, Pope Benedict didnt pray for the triumph to occur by 2017; he prayed that it be "hastened"-without going any further than that. The most plausible explanation is that a second text does exist, but the Popes were not convinced the words were from Our Lady. That way there is no lie in stating everything of the "authentic" third secret has been released; yet an interpretation exists which is not included among those deemed definately supernatural. If there was a message for instance in which it was stated the Antichrist was to come very soon, would that be something the vatican would divulge? I think not. cardinal ratzinger in 1984 warned it could be seen a sensational. This revelation would fit the bill perfectly as to why it would remain in the pope's desk

Yes. The missing text , attachment, full third secret , whatever you want to call it, is what has been deemed inauthentic.

Written on one sheet of paper ,consisting of 25lines. Starting with ''In Portugal the Dogma of the faith will always be preserved,etc...'

Since the mental reservations employed by those in charge , have been 'Seen through' It is time they were dropped, and time they come clean.
The great ' Truth telling' as Socci calls it, must continue.

Anyway , since Fr Dollinger has suggested that the 3rd secret points to a 'Bad Mass & Bad Council ,'

Is there any basis to this?
Of course there is. From early on, Sr Lucia had actually spilled the beans herself to a degree , to the future Pope Pius XII.

And there would be many leaks through other sources. Look here at Cardinal Oddi...

''The prophecy of Fatima was completely defied! It is a lack of sense, I would say, because according to the interpretation that seems to me most worthy of consideration, the Third Secret - which John XXIII and his successors thought inopportune to reveal - is not about a supposed conversion of Russia, still far from becoming a reality, but regards the 'revolution' in the Catholic Church.

From a Council convened to throw light on the beauty and profundity of the Christian mystery by presenting the Church as the spouse of Christ, according to the beautiful words of the same Pope John XXIII, so many innovations were born that they appear to constitute a true internal revolution.''http://www.traditioninaction.org/ProgressivistDoc/A_052_Oddi_CCL_Fatima.htm

Didn't all the doomsday stuff depend on whether or not the Pope consecrated Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and didn't Sr. Lucia say that Heaven was satisfied with the consecration by Pope John Paul 11? So what difference does it make whether or not all the secret has been revealed if the repercussions have been averted by the consecration? Why are people obsessing about the 100th anniversary? The King of France had his head chopped off because he didn't do what Heaven requested. The consecration was done late as predicted and after Russia had already spread her errors but it was carried out to Heaven's satisfaction, so what are people expecting in 2017 and why are they expecting anything at all? Are they expecting ISIS to storm the Vatican and start chopping off heads next September? Whatever, if any, part of the message that has been withheld was most likely for the Pope's attention. We got the message intended for us - the part about the First Saturday devotions, so what right have we to demand to know the part that wasn't meant for us?

Whether the Consecration has been completed is still debated. And there are multiple threads on this forum that discuss this.
Where in the whole story of Fatima, has anyone ,on any side of the issue, ever stated there is a secret message for the Pope alone?
Why make things up with which to criticize people?

I'm not making up anything and I'm not criticising anyone. I'm merely asking questions. I used to think that Fatima was done and dusted. I used to think that the secrets had been revealed in their entirety. Now I'm not so sure. I do believe that the consecration has been completed to the satisfaction of Heaven because Sr. Lucia said so. The reason given for Pope John Paul 11 consecrating the whole world made sense to me because by that time Russia's errors had spread throughout the world. If the consecration was good enough for Sr. Lucia and Heaven it is good enough for me. I also read somewhere (can't remember where) Sr. Lucia being quoted as saying that the secret was for the Pope. I could try to find the source but, to be honest, I have read so much on so many websites about Fatima since I started reading about it here that it could take me forever to find it.

Now, if Heaven was satisfied with the consecration, what difference does it make whether or not all of the secret has been revealed? We haven't had a period of peace but perhaps Heaven decided that a belated consecration didn't deserve a period of peace. So, what do people expect to happen next year? The French king was beheaded. Are they expecting a bloodbath? My questions are not intended to criticise and they aren't intended to get under people's skin. If you don't want to answer them, feel free to ignore them.

Have you ever read about the French Revolution?

Yes. Are you expecting a revolution within the Church - a major schism, or widespread civil unrest across the world where people will start persecuting the Church and murdering the clergy and anyone who stands with them?

    Hello Dolours,
I think some believe one or two events from your list are about to occur, and others, all of them. Soon.

Thanks JAK. Are they expecting it to all kick off on the 100th anniversary with a spectacular catastrophic event? I can't imagine that happening on the day of the major celebrations in Fatima. Isn't the Pope going to Fatima for the celebrations?

Have you heard of Charlie Johnson?
There are a number of voices more or less coming together at the moment and saying the same thing, including the reported messages from Heaven posted on this forum. I was just thinking this pm that if some one lovely could collate them in a very simple way, their power would be very great, and help us (mainly me) make sense of it all.

However, in answer to your question, there is a belief that events will accelerate well before the anniversary, and happen very quickly. I know I should be referencing or summarising sources for you. Perhaps I should try and produce that simple summary myself!

No need to reference or summarise sources for me but I appreciate that you would even consider it. For starters, I have a head like a sieve and only retain the bits of information that don't fall through the perforations. I'm also a bit of a sceptic where unapproved private revelations and apparitions are concerned. Since I firmly believe in Fatima, I just wanted to know the what, when and why of people's expectations for the centenary.

Incidentally, I also read somewhere that the comparison with the King of France didn't come for some years after the apparitions in Fatima. I think it was in a private visitation to Sr. Lucia circa 1938 but I'm very likely mistaken about the year. The source where I read this speculated that it could be 2038 before there is any spectacular event along the lines of what happened to the French king.

    Apparition at Rianjo (1931)

Make it known to My ministers, given that they follow the example of the King of France in delaying the execution of My command, they will follow him into misfortune. It is never too late to have recourse to Jesus and Mary.’

The request for the consecration of Russia was made in Tuy , June 1929.

I thought it came from Our Lady of Fatima in 1917, and the reference to the King of France came in a later private revelation to Sr. Lucia when there was no sign of the Pope consecrating Russia.

I never heard of Rianjo or Tuy. Were they places where Sr. Lucia was staying when she had subsequent private apparitions? Please don't tell me that they are part of some private unapproved locutions to a seer who claims that Heaven is giving them daily messages as long as War & Peace that boil down to repent, do penance and pray or the world is doomed.

It shouldn't be that difficult to figure out which secret contains the part about Portugal given how many years it took to release the third part of the secret. Since we knew about it as far back as 1960, I suppose it was in the second part of the secret, but was it included in the official text of the second part of the secret released by the Vatican? Was it included in any of the three parts of the secret released by the Vatican?

With regard to any interpretation committed to paper by Sr. Lucia, I expect that people in the Vatican could answer the questions. The question for me is whether we have the right to know, and I'm not sure that we do.

I read on a blog that Our Lady said she would appear "here" a seventh time. Some people say that the seventh time happened with a private apparition to Sr. Lucia, but Sr. Lucia wasn't at the Cova for that apparition, and Our Lady also appeared to her subsequently in other places. The person who wrote the blog maintains that since there hasn't been a seventh apparition at the Cova, it is possible that there will be another apparition there. What do you think of that? It makes sense in one way but since the people Our Lady made the promise to are dead, who would she appear to?

The Official position of which I speak is that which was promoted in particular by Cardinal Bertone.http://www.fatima.org/exclusives/pdf/ssh_epiloguepg3.pdf

'I know nothing else and anything that could be said rests upon the text of Sr. Lucia herself on this matter'.

Can you think of any reason why Cardinal Bertone avoided this most important issue? He had the good sister at his disposal for as long as he wished. And was obviously aware of its importance.

  20. Hi Kevin
While I fully respect Mac's right to confess his allegiance to SSPX you must realise that all his comments are infused with their agenda and perspective. Sadly his enthusiasm can result in misrepresentation of other convictions and comments as has frequently happened with Pope Francis and recently happened to me and now seemingly to you. I hope Mac takes note of your rebuttal: "Those are serious words that I did not say." And I hope the yellow card is raised by the owner of this blog.
