No you are not a Pope basher but I wonder if the Pope is willing to become a martyr more then the average person, just as Christ was. Our nature is to protect ourselves, our families, our country, our way of life. I am not saying that he is correct, I just see the moral dilemma that he is dealing with. I wish I had the answer, some times it feels like a very difficult test. I can clearly see why we do need God to intervene. People just keep going around in circles, we open our hearts, our countries and then we get hurt and we can't help but become defensive again.
This is why many will accept the Anti-Christ, he will show up and have an "answer" to this. "We should put a chip in everyone, we will be able to keep track of the bad guys." HA, the "bad guys" will find a way around it just as they do with everything else.

Crewdog....the Pope is entitled to his personal opinion...and we can legitimately disagree with his personal opinions in good spirit.. He is not making Ex- Cathedra proclamations which of course we must be obedient. I believe Pope Francis is certainly colored by his liberal take on things. To me he is a classic liberal and as such he personal views are reflected in that reality. Since God choose this man to be Pope at this definite time in history I can only trust that this is Gods man of the hour.

He is Pope and Head of the Vatican State and as such his "opinions" get broadcast WorldWide to be sliced, diced, spun and twisted just like any other International Big Shot. Make no mistake! Papa's comments have caused confusion, angst and division in The Christian Church, Catholic, Orthodox & Protestant, and given "ammo" to Christian Haters that they will use on The Faithful to do further harm

I don't know Crewdog....I have this sense that somehow the hand of God is mysteriously working through Pope Francis. Perhaps in in the economy of salvation...you know...give a little here for a bigger pay off in the end. I consider myself a conservative so obviously I personally disagree with few of his opinions...but I just can't help thinking that God choose him for this hour...and perhaps I shouldn't be to secure in my reasoning. The Holy Spirit moves with the fluidity of the wind...that I ought not squelch. At any rate...I pray for our pope and his intentions.

 

Yes, and I believe that there was another recent message to Luz de Maria stating that people are already giving their most intimate and familiar information about themselves and their family members to complete strangers on social media.....so it won't take much to simply go from that huge amount of naive trust to the next step of giving in to such things as complete control via the "chip" or other ordered means of control in order to secure the means of survival when things get horrific.

 

Isn't there some catholic prophecy that Muslims would invade europe? Is so, I believe that the migrant situation fulfills this prophecy. A Russian invasion on one side and Muslim invasion on the other is the prophecy I believe. But someone else more into prophecy will have to confirm this. Either way europe is in a whole lot of trouble but they did it to themselves.

 

What's the bolded sentence supposed to mean? Did the US, Canada, Australia, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Iran and Pakistan have no role in the conflicts in Iraq, Syria, Libya and Afghanistan? How many ships and planes have those countries sent to rescue migrants from the Mediterranean and offer them refuge? Which country's ambassador lost his life in a terrorist attack amid suspicions that he was arranging arms shipments to terrorist insurgents? How many of those countries have supplied arms that are now in the hands of jihadists? I think you'll find that the US led NATO vies for top spot in the culprit stakes where this catastrophe is concerned.

 

I think it is necessary to remember...this thing has been brewing for some time now. The Jewish/Satanic/ Freemasons have been planning this over throw for centuries now. We must remember...this is a war against Christianity. I ask but one thing...take a look at the personages behind all these political and economic movements. What do you see...I will not state the facts nor the truth because one is immediately attacked as being racist or whatever...let truth be your guide and be prepared to kill off pre conceived notions. My last sentence refers to Europe's open border policies potentially causing them harm. It seems to have helped fulfill a Catholic prophecy. If there are more terrorist attacks in europe, their own policies are partly to blame. There is plenty of blame to go around as you point out in your post, but Europe's immigration policy is not protecting it's citizens.

 

The open borders are internal EU borders. The external borders are supposed to be controlled by individual member states. Greece was inundated because the Turks wouldn't control their own border, either to halt the flow of jihadis into Syria or to stop the people traffickers sending hundreds of thousands of migrants westward across the Mediterranean or northward via Bulgaria. NATO's Turkey has shown that it can control its borders when it's profitable. The alternative route, and the one used by the traffickers of Africans is via Libya entailing an even longer and more precarious sea journey to Italy which has also been inundated with refugees. This has nothing to do with Europe's internal borders and everything to do with the mess that is Syria and Libya combined with Turkey's cavalier attitude which has been encouraged for years most notably by the US and Britain to keep them onside with NATO.

Europe's immigration policy is that refugees should claim asylum in the first safe country they reach. No EU member state has a border with the countries these people are fleeing, for example, Syria, Iraq, Libya, Pakistan, Somalia, Eritrea, Afghanistan and Somalia. This crisis was caused by the greedy power brokers running NATO along with a few of its allies. The useless UN whose responsibility it should be to manage the crisis needs to come up with a better solution than lecturing poor European citizens about their lack of charity. There won't be a solution to this until the military powers put a stop to their proxy wars.

 

It's very easy to say, yeah, I'll get to this segment soon, but guess what...satan doesn't want you to. So at least take the time to listen from about the 20 min mark to the 26:50 mark, and then surrender your life anew to Jesus.

Vladimir Putin has warned that Romania and Poland could be caught in the 'crosshairs' of Russian rockets for hosting elements of a U.S. missile shield that Moscow considers a threat to its security.

The Russian president said Moscow would be 'forced to carry out certain measures' against the European nations, at an Athens conference on Friday.

Earlier this month the U.S. military - which says the shield is needed to protect from Iran, not threaten Russia - angered Russia by switching on the Romanian part of the shield.

Vladimir Putin has warned that Romania and Poland could be in the 'crosshairs' of Russian rockets because they are hosting elements of a U.S. missile shield that Moscow considers a threat to its securit

Work is also going ahead on another part of the shield, in Poland.

'If yesterday in those areas of Romania people simply did not know what it means to be in the cross-hairs, then today we will be forced to carry out certain measures to ensure our security,' Putin told a joint news conference in Athens with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.

'It will be the same case with Poland,' he said.

Putin did not specify what actions Russia would take, but he insisted that it was not making the first step, only responding to moves by Washington.

'We won't take any action until we see rockets in areas that neighbour us.'

He said the argument that the project was needed to defend against Iran made no sense because an international deal had been reached to curb Tehran's nuclear programme. The missiles that will form the shield can easily reach Russian cities, he said.

'How can that not create a threat for us?' Putin asked.

He voiced frustration that Russia's complaints about the missile shield had not been heeded.

'We've been repeating like a mantra that we will be forced to respond... Nobody wants to hear us. Nobody wants to conduct negotiations with us.'

The Russian leader also touched on relations with Turkey, which have been toxic since the Turkish military shot down a Russian fighter jet near the Syrian-Turkish border last November. Ankara said the plane strayed into Turkish airspace, an allegation Moscow denies.

Putin said he was ready to consider restoring relations with Ankara, but that would require a first step from Turkey, and so far there was no sign of that.

Putin was asked about the South Stream project, a planned gas pipeline from Russia that would have gone under the Black Sea to Bulgaria and onwards to southern Europe. Russia shelved the project after Bulgaria backed out.

He blamed the U.S. government and the European Commission, saying they had pressured Sofia to withdraw. But he said Russia was going ahead with an extension of its Nordstream pipeline in the Baltic, and he hoped no one would try to hinder that project.

Alexis Tsipras, the Greek prime minister, noted that Putin's visit comes just days after Athens reached a deal with eurozone bailout creditors to continue rescue loans, under a deal that expands power of a state privatization committee.

'Improving relations with Russia on multiple levels is a strategic choice,' Tsipras said. 'Of course ... when the disagreements exceed our powers, we can act a positive influence within the EU and NATO.'

The Nudol direct ascent missile was launched from a facility in Plesetsk, 500 miles north of Moscow, and was monitored by U.S. intelligence.

It is unknown whether the Nudol was fired at a target or just launched on a suborbital trajectory but the successful test represents a major milestone for Russia as it continues to modernise its strategic arsenal under President Vladimir Putin.

The developments have been shrouded in secrecy but Russian state reports have insisted that the Nudol is for defence purposes, describing it as 'a new Russian long-range missile defence'.

But God allows him to be chosen -he would have no power if it were not given from on high. God's hand is in everything but no evil will ever be found in His hand. In all things God works for the good.
