That's not what I asked. You claimed that the good Fr. Iannuzzi was a deceiver

I know Fr. Joseph personally and he is not a "deceiver". What a terrible thing to say about him. I think the person who said this should get to Confession.

That is the obvious conclusion from the quote in post 116. I dont remember mentioning the word' Good'.

    Daniel,

I am cautiously encouraged, for my reservations regarding living the Divine Will devotion revolve around this Eucharistic issue and also the seemingly negative attitude toward the human will expressed in Luisa's writing. I will come back to these issues soon; time constraints presently constrain me.;)

Safe in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary!

  6. the author seems to be drawing false conclusions....and "He does this, deliberately (now the author is accused of culpable misguidance of the faithful) it would seem, (again). "Seems" being the operative word here and such excuse wording will get you what...a detour around Hell?....and your "source's" basis in any comparable expertise to the author's fullest study of the subject is what...being that he had the complete writings to draw from? Better to speak to the Church then with such quasi control of the facts and tell them they picked the wrong guy to be currently the only theologian permitted to give the "proper" interpretation of the writings of Luisa since what is offered in such a treatise on the subject is the complete writings. And..."his postmillennial 'era of peace'." Huh? It would seem that this source is the one confused and offering such confusion/doubt to others. If one simply can't grasp it then he/they should just be honest and up front but don't then proceed to project your own obvious misunderstandings and own personal prejudices onto others. Probably Pope Francis would categorize such treatment of another as fitting within the realm of "gossip".

"Your divine commandments are broken, your Gospel is thrown aside, torrents of iniquity flood the whole earth carrying away even your servants… Will everything come to the same end as Sodom and Gomorrah? Will you never break your silence? Will you tolerate all this forever? Is it not true that your will must be done on earth as it is in heaven? Is it not true that your kingdom must come? Did you not give to some souls, dear to you, a vision of the future renewal of the Church?" St. Louis de Montfort, Prayer for Missionaries

That is quite a long prayer Lynn...https://www.ewtn.com/library/Montfort/PMISSION.HTM

How do agents of Luisa use this prayer to try to justify her position?
By your own admission what Luisa brings is new.
St Louis new nothing of her DW kingdom.
He did know who would be there for the end battle.

"They will be true apostles of the latter times to whom the Lord of Hosts will give eloquence and strength to work wonders and carry off glorious spoils from His enemies. They will sleep without gold or silver and, more important still, without concern in the midst of other priests, ecclesiastics and clerics. Yet they will have the silver wings of the dove enabling them to go wherever the Holy Spirit calls them, filled as they are, with the resolve to seek the glory of God and the salvation of souls. Wherever they preach, they will leave behind them nothing but the gold of love, which is the fulfillment of the whole law."

St Louis is not interested in Luisa'new road.
    Or any other road.
    Even a new holy road.

And St Louis' method is complete.

Show me a new road to our Lord, pave it with all the merits of the saints, adorn it with their heroic virtues, illuminate and enhance it with the splendour and beauty of the angels, have all the angels and saints there to guide and protect those who wish to follow it. Give me such a road and truly, truly, I boldly say - and I am telling the truth - that instead of this road, perfect though it be, I would still choose the immaculate way of Mary. It is a way, a road without stain or spot, without original sin or actual sin, without shadow or darkness,. When our loving Jesus comes in glory once again to reign upon earth - as he certainly will - he will choose no other way than the Blessed Virgin, by whom he came so surely and so perfectly the first time. The difference between his first and his second coming is that the first was secret and hidden, but the second will be glorious and resplendent. Both are perfect because both are through Mary. Alas, this is a mystery which we cannot understand, "Here let every tongue be silent."

    Lynnfiat,
The vision of the future renewal of the Church was given to St. John and St. Paul, as well as to Isaiah, Daniel and others in the Old Testament, wasn't it? A more perfect world of peace...lion and lamb..."One Lord, one Faith, one Baptism, one God and Father of all"

    Mac,
After reading about "true apostles of the latter times" I am reminded of Mother Teresa...

The Divine Will is the immaculate way of Mary. See for yourself: http://luisapiccarreta.me/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/The-Virgin-Mary-in-the-w-cover-8.5-x-11.pdf

At the risk of sounding blunt, these flippant ad hominem attacks on a priest and theologian such as Fr Iannuzzi as are now appearing on this thread surely constitute a serious breach of etiquette and I appeal for them to stop immediately, otherwise I will call for their removal.

Although Emmett O'Regan has some stimulating ideas, theologically he is not remotely in Fr Iannuzzi's league, as those of us who have studied his doctoral dissertation on Luisa Piccarreta's writings defended at the Pontifical Gregorian Academy in Rome will attest. The insistence of Emmett O'Regan and similar writers that the millennium should be dismissed on the grounds that a strict Augustinian eschatology is the exclusive position of the Church doesn't stand up to historical scrutiny, as I tried to demonstrate in the portion of my introductory essay to Brian Nugent's book Marian Apparitions in Ireland dealing with questions of private revelation and eschatology.

I would not have used the word "flippant", as they are much worse, even perhaps diabolical. Best to pray about what one does not understand, rather than speak and draw God's admonishment.

Julia Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us.

It makes me so sad to see Children of Mary our Heavenly mother, squabbling about mysteries.

None of us know the answers. We just try to discern what must be of God or otherwise.

But we don't have to act like daesh who want to kill or destroy anyone who does not agree with their beliefs. And fool ourselves into believing we are doing Gods will. Fooling ourselves in believing we are warriors for Christ.

If we don't believe one or other messenger or visionary is authentic, surely we can just say so, and leave it at that.

Sorry, that is just how I feel.

That's fine. Ignore everything since St. Louis, then (who, by the way, died in 1716). Ignore devotion to the Immaculate Conception, ignore Fatima, ignore the Miraculous Medal, ignore St. Faustina's revelations, etc., etc., etc. After all, anyone (even Mary herself) who dares add to St. Louis' "sure way" must be diabolical, or a fraud at best.

(Forgive the sarcasm, thread-perusers. It is not my ordinary way, but here I could not help.)

these other devotions only add .
Luisa and her new way take over.
You cannot practice True Devotion to Mary as taught by St Louis while at the same time removing the pebble.
