God takes no pleasure in the death of His servant. I thank God that I do not have the mind to justify condemnation of the the way of Pope Francis. As you know I am behind him every step of his way which I believe, despite all arguments to the contrary, is The Way. If however he is in error I suspect that God will keep him alive to be a living witness of his saving power after the correction of conscience. This would be like another Damascus moment, a new moment for a new time and we know what terrific results came from St Pauls correction. God could have cut short St Paul's life to prevent him doing further damage but he chose him as a great witness to the truth. Again I must reiterate I see no fault in Francis and in my mind he is not only free but obliged to continue in his way of mercy. Whatever happens ,I agree Brian, Divine Intervention is needed. Only then shall we see more clearly but it will be a vision of the future.
Our Lady warned me one time that the day would come when most would leave this little Home Of Mary and I would be left almost alone here ; I see this day draw much ,much closer. But God's Will be done. Only the very little ones, a Faithful Remnant, will remain. Depised, spat upon and almost forgotten. They will pay the price of their Faithfulness in their own blood. Their Bishops and Pastors shall pursue them and seek their lives and their very souls. 'It was as if people were splitting into two camps' Blessed Ann Emmerich But in the end the Immaculate Heart of Mary will Triumph.
Matthew 24:22 The Abomination of Desolation …21For at that time there will be great tribulation, unmatched from the beginning of the world until now, and never to be seen again. 22If those days had not been cut short, nobody would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, those days will be shortened. 23At that time, if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There He is,’ do not believe it.…
I see this time as being after the world has once again fallen away from Christ. After the Warning and the The Great Miracle the resultant huge number of newly converted will once again turn back to sin and take part in the major apostasy that leads to the Chastisement. Mary, under her title, The Lady of All Nations, which by then will have been conferred through the proclamation of the 5th Dogma, will take up her command and lead us to The Great Rescue in which her Immaculate Heart will be seen to Triumph over evil and the Kingdom of God will be restored. There will be a new heaven and a new earth and Christ will come again in all His glory. Amen and Amen. Marantha.
The devil could never take full control of the World unless he first infiltrated and took control of the Church. This reminds me of the Ladt Supper when Saan had entered the heart of Judas. Satan has entered the very fortress of the Church and has opened the Gates to his cohrts who will stream in almost unopposed: John 13:2 The evening meal was in progress, and the devil had already prompted Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, to betray Jesus.
I believe it will be in the time leading up to the Chastisement that there will be two pope's, a good pope and a bad pope. To me Ven Catherine speaks with great love of the good pope. On Oct 13 1973, Our Lady said in Akita "If men do not repent and better themselves, the Father will inflict a terrible punishment on all humanity. It will be a punishment far greater than the deluge, such as one will never have seen before. Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priest nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so desolate that they will envy the dead ( same words as Garabandal) The only arms that will remain for you will be the Rosary and the Sign left by my Son. Each day recite the prayers of the rosary. With the rosary pray for the Pope the Bishops and the Priests."
"The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see Cardinals opposing Cardinals, Bishops against Bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned by their confreres. Churches and altars will be sacked. The Church will be full of those who accept compromises, and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord. "The demon will be especially implacable against the souls consecrated to God. The thought of the loss of so many souls is the cause of My sadness. If sins increase in number and gravity, there will no longer be pardon for them. " pray very much the prayers of the rosary. I alone am able to still save you from the calamities which approach. Those who put their confidence in me will be saved." Akita Oct 13 1973. Sins have increased and will increase further. It's only a matter of time.
Powerful footage. If God can use Mel Gibson He can use anyone. We are well warned but I doubt many in the world take any real notice. I hope Mel finds his way back.
Now they are increasing because the Pope has given the green light. The ink is not yet dry on the exhortation Amoris Laetitia, which allows “pastoral exceptions” that authorize divorced and civilly remarried persons to receive communion, but it has already been put into practice as a matter of urgency. In the Philippines, Archbishop Socrates B. Villegas of Lingayen Daupan, president of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines, wrote on April 9: After discernment as a group, our bishops will develop more concrete guidelines on the application of the apostolic exhortation Amoris Laetitia. But mercy cannot wait. Mercy must not wait. From now on, bishops and priests must open welcoming arms to those who have been kept away from the Church by feelings of guilt and shame....This is an arrangement of mercy, an opening of heart and mind that needs no law, awaits no guideline. This can and must be done immediately.” In Italy, Msgr. Alberto Carrara, editor of the diocesan bulletin of Bergamo, wrote on April 14: Divorced and separated persons who have remarried can be readmitted to the sacraments. This is one of the innovations of Amoris Laetitia, the apostolic exhortation Pope Francis wrote following the two synods on the family.”
Padraig I am sure there will always be a welcome at your door. There will always be a warm fireside, a story and a song. Always a friend to turn to. I share your weariness but also your hope.
I will not enter debate with one who takes quotes out of context or with one whose very context of faith defies legitimate authority.
If I could I would (that is actually one of the responses in Masonic ritual) but sorry I have spent it (and much more) on statues.....and a big car that I now see I did not need. Ask me again when the bank balance has had time to grow. I will be glad when the spending spree is over.
I have not checked this weeks lottery numbers. I will send it express Bet you wish you had asked for more now.
For the first time ever my business has been going down hill badly ...just at the time when I most needed funds to complete my commissions for The Lady of All Nations/Our Lady of Akita. I have no explanation for its deterioration. It may have struck at me but it has not stopped me. She has Her heel on its head and it is squirming and writhing in the inevitability of its humiliating defeat. We just have to hold our ground in the face of its fury and frustration.
On the first Saturday I attend Marian devotions and turpentine Mass at Institue of Christ The King who have taken over a disused church in Limerick. I was there today. The Mass there was so holy and the grace there was so palpable it was difficult to leave the church. Thinking about it afterwards I think the enemy has robbed us so much and young people who have never known anything other than the decimated liturgy we now have are almost defenceless against Satan. It really will take divine intervention to save the church. All we can do is comply with Our Lady's request to fast and pray. My fasting is a bit hit and miss but I really need to get serious about it. We are in deep trouble. The end game is being played out. I think of the prophesies of Our Lady of Good Success.
I love the Tridentine mass. I knew all the Latin responses as an altar server by the time I was six and had a miniature set of sacred vessels with which I would play at saying masses on my own. It's a real shame it has dropped by so many. We were also taught how to read and sing Gregorian chant at school. Another great loss. I believe that if the altar rails had been left in place many would still kneel to recieve. There is a great thirst for reverence and ways to express reverence that is being denied. Most political activists know that the best way to defeat and annihilate a culture is to suppress its language. I am not talking about the language of Latin alone but the way we Catholics have always understood and recognized each other, our Catholic identity, our Catholic language, that which gives us unity and a sense of place in the world but not of the world. If only the likes of SSPX could have fought for this from within the ranks of the Church militant, obedient to the Pope yet campaigning for the preservation and promotion of this great tradition. No greater complement or compliment to Vatican II could have been made.
Such a shame so much has been lost. What's really striking is the youth of those on the altar, not a grey hair in sight. The reverence for the Blessed Sacrament is noteworthy. God is truly honoured and worshipped. At least Benedict got to give the tridentine rite a boost.
