He certainly was a saint. I am a little surprised and saddened there was not more a move to get him canonised, I know he had some,very,very special gifts. Oh well God has His reasons.
Five year wait for any promising saint as that's the rule coming from the Vatican. Then after five years had elapsed , anyone could move to get him canonised. what gifts did he have ? i met him couple of times before i realised he was something as he had no airs and graces. Normal priest very unassuming until confession that he made a remark that made my hair stand.
I think one of the great signs of a saint for me from the very holy people I have from time to time is this. When they are talking to you , you are the centre of their entire world. You kind of bask in the sun of the love of their loving, compassionate attention. You may think that people paying loving attention to others is not that unusual. But I think it is at least when it is done as fully as the saints do. A few years back I did a couple of counselling courses and the first thing they taught us was the art of listening. They said the great problem with most people is that no one ever listened to them. That the counsellor might not come along with a magic wand and solve things but they could at least listen to peoples problems and in most cases that is all people really want. I was walking round the park a couple of weeks back and I watched a mother with her child gazing at the toddler as she talked to her with a rapt loving attention. The mother paid so much attention because she deeply loved the child. THat, it seems to me is the love the saints give when we meet them. Many , many years ago I read the story of a New York policeman who recntly died. He was just an ordinary on the beat patrolman when he died suddenly of a heart attack. Well his precinct was suddenly inundated with tributes to the man saying how heart broked they all were at his death and paying tribute to him. The cops in the station were intrigued by this and detectives went out to find out why he had gotten such a huge funeral turnout and thousands of tributes. It turned out it was as simple as this , he paid loving attention to people. It sounds so simple doesn;t it? But look at the world around you . How many people do you knwo that pay this kind of undivided loving attention ot those aorund them? Very, very few, I'll bet.

In any case, even if it were true that L. de M. made a mistake in discernment regarding Giorgio B. at some point, that in itself is not conclusive regarding her own alleged revelations. All it would show would be her fallibility.

I wish I convey to poor people the utter gravity of what is about to transpire in the world for I have seen at least a little of it. It makes the Second World War seem like a snack in a picnic area. People need to get moving to fasting and their rosary beads, double quick.
Technology has become our drug of preference. The vast majority in the West have become completely numb, unable to wake up from their media-induced narcosis, unable to use God-given reason to interpret events in the world around them. Logically, a video such as this or any other lacrimation ought to be headline news given the obvious implications (starting with small matters such as the fact that God exists...). But we have become so unbelievably trivial that it seems that virtually nobody is listening.
I'm afraid that until it is all around us in our backyard we are too navel-focused for this to make a genuine impact. Even if others are already experiencing the Apocalypse. By the time that events are in our face it will be too late for many to know how to respond as they are completely unprepared psychologically and spiritually.
The saints in heaven must look away because of the horror of sin on the face of the earth. That video of the child Jesus crying tears of blood is a real sign of the times: "I tell you," he replied, "if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out."
Yes, people conveniently forget/ignore that parts of our world are already in tribulation. Most people are spiritual comatose and cannot read the signs of the times. When one dares to speak out they look on you as the village idiot. So many asleep, so few awake.
Yes very true, you know a few weeks ago I was asking a few historians what were the odds of WWIII in the next five years. Most said about the same as winning the lottery, a million to one or so! How can anybody think that when they look at the world around them, even Russia is clearly rearming big time. I would put it at no more than 50/50.
