Having never heard of The Protocols of whatever, I can't comment on them. I have to say, though, that it isn't unusual to read or hear about links of a Jewish connection to the Masons. On this side of the world, the Masons are associated more with Protestant elitism, especially in business and the legal profession. Any Jewish connection would most likely be down to a Jewish sense of self-preservation being manifested by cultivating links with people of power and influence, i.e. the Masons.
They're all very brave when it isn't their own children who do the fighting and suffer the consequences. Please if you are willing .. . pray for her safety, all our military service members need our prayers. Ty
Yippers...and I beg to differ...funny the folly...it plays out just as it said it would...but I digress...Patraigs said no Protocols...Padraigs gets no Protocols. Tis odd a time when concrete proof is no reason to believe. Oh by the way Muzhik...the Anti Christ says he's the Jews Messiah...but its anti-Semitic to point that out. Off with the head!
I have a young family member in the Air Force being sent to the Turkey/Syria border soon. Please if you are willing .. . pray for her safety, all our military service members need our prayers. Ty[/quote] I will indeed pray for your relative's safety, especially at Mass tomorrow. I don't know how safe it is these days, but if she gets a break she might take the opportunity to do some sightseeing. That's a really interesting side of Turkey. I did a bit of travelling there many years ago. My memory isn't good enough to give precise distances and locations but I recall coming across some US military personnel on leave from, I think, the Incirlik air base. On that side of Turkey we visited Mt. Ararat (probably too far North towards Iraq), Cappadoccia where there are ancient Christian churches and cities in the hollowed out rocks, and I have a dim memory of the surrounding countryside being dotted with caves that judging by the painting on the walls had once been churches. All the blue eyes of the paintings were scratched out because, as explained to us, the Turks regarded them as evil eyes that followed them wherever they stood. No doubt there's a more politically correct interpretation these days. Lake Van is also on that side of Turkey. There's an island in the middle of the lake with a ruin of a very old church (possibly Armenian?) where Aramaic was spoken. Tarsus is also in that general direction, although I didn't get to Tarsus. South towards the Med, I recall visiting a Mosque in a place called Sanliurfa or Urfa that was very important to the Muslims. There was a fishpond in the grounds teeming with carp fish that had some special meaning to them. The grounds also had a well in a kind of cave that was known as Abraham's well where, presumably, the prophet had stayed and everyone lined up to get a drink from the well. The area is steeped in history. I hope your relative will be safe and that she'll get to do some sightseeing because I recall spectacular scenery although the towns were unattractive. I will keep her in my prayers until I hear that she is back home safe and sound.
Thank you! I am not sure how much she will get to sight see, 2 years ago she was in Qatar and could not leave the base. She is only 23! It's hard not to worry. My father had been stationed in Turkey in the mid sixties , I was a young child , he had taken us on many sight seeing trips, Sardis, Our Lady's home at Ephesus, Many places with ancient ruins, the huge pillars. I so wish I could remember it more! I have just a few of the old slide pictures my parents had taken. I am fond of the thought of standing in Mary's house, my brothers always talked of the camel fights and dancing bears. Again, thank you for the prayers, much appreciated! I will let her mother know also (she will be thankful too.)

This pastor could be right...... BREAKING NEWS COMING IN NOW...... http://www.cbsnews.com/news/turkey-saudi-arabia-threaten-ground-troops-syria/
The foreign-sponsored conflict in Syria, which flared in March 2011, has claimed the lives of some 470,000 people and left 1.9 million injured, according to the Syrian Center for Policy Research.
I didn't share for the statistic.. but I think I'm understanding what you mean. I shared for the fact of how long it's been going on .... and the world just now seems to be catching on to just how bad it was/is. Did this time around start with the Arab Spring? It is just so sad.. .
Saudi Arabia launches military exercise with 20 nations (CNN)Saudi Arabia launched a massive military exercise that will include troops from 20 nations, state media reported Monday. The drill, dubbed North Thunder, involves Arab and Muslim countries, according to the Saudi Press Agency. It's taking place in King Khalid Military City in northeastern Saudi Arabia. The news agency did not provide much information on what the exercise entails but called it "the largest in the region's history." The agency said it will involve air, sea and land forces. In addition to Saudi Arabia, other participating nations include Jordan, Bahrain, Senegal, Oman, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Sudan, Kuwait, the Maldives, Morocco, Pakistan, Chad, Tunisia, Comoro Islands, Djibouti, Malaysia, Egypt, Mauritania and Mauritius. "North Thunder drills represent a clear message that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its brothers and friends of the participating countries stand united to confront all challenges and maintain peace and stability in the region," the agency said. The announcement comes two months after Saudi Arabia said it will form a coalition of 34 nations to fight terrorism. http://www.cnn.com/2016/02/15/middleeast/saudi-arabia-military-exercises/index.html
