I'm very sorry to just learn of the sudden death of US Supreme Court Justice Scalia. He was a true convervative voice on the Bench and a strong opponent of abortion. He was a true defender of the Constitution. He was also a devout Roman Catholic. This is first and foremost a loss for his family and I place his soul and their grief into the hands of Our Merciful Savior. This is also a tremendous loss for our nation. A nation so deeply divided with every major decision being a single justice making the difference. One would hope that Obama would as a lame duck POTUS allow the new POTUS to fill the seat. Yup! I just read the sad news that Justice Scalia is dead too. God Rest His Soul!! He was one of the stalwarts that was always in the “Five” majority that upheld the Constitution/Bill of Rights and kept the godless Left at bay. Why do I have the feeling that a major “domino” of The Storm, USA anyway, has fallen? This is just a tiny example of what has been ripped away from our Republic today. This man loved the nation. He was a defender of our last thread to keep the Republic together- it's Constitution. I'm watching news coverage of what is to come on the court, and memories of the good judge. Clips of him in court, and with the people. He had a good countance about him...a steadfast man of strong moral convictions, with an added grace of beautiful humility. Such bigs shoes to fill and I'm so worried that what we will get is just the opposite of him. Thank you good judge, you paved your way to heaven and your eternal reward. When my husband told me he passed away I was joyful that this man who lived a life judging and being judged deserved his just reward. Normally I would be devastated by this type of news but I can only imagine the hate directed his way especially the last 20 - 30 yrs after Roe v Wade and the liberal turn the country has taken. He's like a St. Paul who persevered until the end. I'm happy for his soul today. Evil may rejoice today but not for much longer.... God Bless!

What a awesome thing to think that when a man like Scalia passed and stood before God almighty Himself, the judge of the Almighty Supreme Court, that instead of the fear of condemnation, he hears the blessed words of our Lord, " well done, good and faithful servant"! Yes PS... I'm getting text from friends...they are literally crying ...as was I. I am also so very grateful to this good man, a man that I have never met. His goodness and humility were so obvious. What joy awaits him! Wow, just think...he is in the presence of God! How awesome! Especially when you have been a great servant as he surely was. He is soooo blessed! yes, I have a pit in my stomach, that is for sure. if you are conservative and concerned about where this country is heading, you should be a little scared now. if obama tries a recess appointment, he will further divide this country. I think there would be cries for impeachment if he tries that.
