Well, I think I shouldn't miss this opportunity to post one of the later more important messages given to Vassula on December 14, 2009: Testify my child on My behalf and in My Name, and speak and tell this generation: do not listen anymore to false prophets who keep stroking you with caresses telling you that all is well and that you have improved when you, at the same time who call yourself a Christian do not behave like one, for you hardly act on My Words in the Gospel; for I tell you, if your virtue in being a Christian goes no deeper than the godless ones, My Father, not recognizing Me in you will never allow you to enter in Our Kingdom! Hi Robert, When pondering the threads here on the MOG forum about a coming schism in the church, the unknown direction that many feel is disquitening in regards to either our Holy Father's silence or his words, the prophesis which foretell of dire consequences for mankind, the apparent warnings in nature and signs of warnings in so many events and the increase in evil all around, clashes somehow, with the words given to Vassula who speaks of a greater unity in the church and one fold under Our Lord Jesus's rule. However it is the otherside of the very same coin! When evil abounds so too do great graces from God. God is warning us but He is also giving us reassurance of His continued presence and all this will not be for naught. How could it be? God is pure Goodness and Love. The sufferings of the church go hand in hand with its renewal! It makes sence that both must happen side by side. There is much hope and many graces in store for the church. If there is confusion it is because we do not know the mind of God. Oh how Holy He is! His ways are above our ways. My soul Praise the Lord! All you who suffer Praise the Lord! All you who laugh Praise the Lord! All you Saints Praise the Lord! All you Angels Praise the Lord! All you creatures of the earth Praise the Lord! All the heavens Praise the Lord! You can talk to me also! I have been reading True Life in God since coming into the Church 22 years ago and have read most of her books. I feel God speaking to my heart when I read them - just as I do when I read Luisa's writings.

I know. but after reading that notification from the Vatican... I had to let someone know. Hopefully, they will research it! There were even testimonies about how some people were believing her messages over the Gospels!! Oh well .. Discernment is key... Thank you!
Thank you, jada, for "letting someone know" about the Notification regarding Vassula. Sadly, it is almost impossible to mention her name without someone informing us of this document. There are over a hundred references to it on this forum alone! As sunburst points out, once someone has "made up their mind there is no changing it" and positions on Vassula (as with Medjugorje) are particularly illustrative of this problem. As you yourself say, "discernment is key" but that discernent is difficult when so much error is spread constantly around us. Humility, openness and a profound love of Truth is needed.
