I enjoyed reading Charlie's essay on Job. Thank you, Charlie.

 

I had the pleasure of having breakfast this morning with Mother Superior7. She was in Denver for a bit, came to Mother Cabrini Shrine in Golden where I usually go for Daily Mass when I am home, and then we went to a place with a few of her friends. She is a delightful lady.

Charlie...this is not to put you on the spot but I guess I am. In one of your post if I recall correctly you said that we would not have any normal Christmas's after 2013 if memory serves me right. Now I know you are big about self serving pride and all that...but I'm trying to discern if your legit. Nothing personal...you 've got a good message and I'm sure you are a faithful Catholic...and I thank God for that...but these are treacherous times and one must be careful. Do you have a explanation why last Christmas was any different from the one's before and will this Christmas also be different? If you are wrong simply state so as there is no dishonor in giving a failed prediction. I for my part have given failed prophecies in the past but nothing is perfect but the love of God.

I know from past posts that asked this same question ,Charlie stated basically, it was normal for us in the West , but in the middle east the Birth place of the Faith , our Christian Brothers and Sisters were fighting for their lives and homes. So,it was very different looking on a Grand scale of things....Lord, Come soon!!!!

That is just part of it, from what I remember his answers to others with the same question (you are not alone in asking that question). He also mentions the NSA eavesdropping on US citizens, the IRS targeting religious and conservative groups, etc. So, while, yes, the trappings are all still there, the undercurrent is not the same. My husband refers to what is going on as "boiling the frog". They got the pot out, they filled it with water, and put the frog in already, and now the burner is on. So, I'd guess that Christmas 2013 is when they turned on the burner. They've been very slowly turning up the heat ever since.

Charlie has also said, often, that God whispers, so just because nothing large and booming has happened, it doesn't mean everything has changed. (I think I have that mostly correct, anyway.)

But, Charlie will be here to answer you in full. Also, if you haven't, I'd recommend going to his blog and reading his posts AND the comments. Many great questions are asked in those comments and he answers them. Also, other followers of his blog have great commentary as well.

 

I have had a lot of trouble with Charlie's writings, not because they don't make sense -- the next right step, trust do love certainly make sense!-- but because of the 2 years+ time frame he has set out, and the number of 26 million dead as a result of the Storm. The number seems very low considering the scope of what must happen, a complete breakdown of society.

The only explanation I can come up with that satisfies me is that the world will experience something like a near-death experience.

I'm sure that many here, like me, were/are looking for a Big Bang that has not happened ... and somehow feel let-down about it!? There have been so many little bangs over the past 40 years that we have become numb to it all. If one were to connect all the little bang "Dots" and study/dwell on them, he/she would spend the rest of his/her life in prayer and supplication. Speaking of Christmas, I'm guessing there has already been a Big Bang ... like The Star of Bethlehem ... that most where unaware of!? YUP!! WE are living in That Generation that is throwing away our Faith & Freedoms ... that sounds like a pretty damn BIG BANG to me!!

It does seem fast, but God is the one in charge and He can do anything he wants. However, I think (and forgive me, Charlie, if I'm misremembering what you've said), that the destruction will be man-made.

My husband is reading Ted Koppel's new book, "Lights Out: A Cyberattack, A Nation Unprepared, Surviving the Aftermath" so I asked him, based on what he's read so far, if it is plausible that 26 million people could die within a short amount of time based on the book's premise, and it is and it doesn't take nuclear attacks.

Think about New York City. This is one of many large population centers entirely dependent on our power supplies to survive. Thousands of people are in elevators in NYC in any given minute and they become stuck in a power outage and it could take days and days to free them all. That's just part of it. I don't think NYC has enough food to last more than three days for the entire population even with the MRE's they have stockpiled. Within a week, they theorize that people will be killing others for resources. Given that people are willing to kill for high-end sneakers, of course, they will kill for food. And, that's just one city. Take out power in Chicago, LA, and other large population centers throughout the world, and I think you hit that mark fairly quickly. Granted, he's still reading the book, so I haven't had a chance and he's just mentioned points here and there, so I don't have the information directly. But, my take-away is that, yes, it's plausible and given the security issues around our power supplies in the US, entirely possible. Plus, winter is coming for the Northern Hemisphere and most of us need power to survive the cold.

And, if Charlie is wrong, well, his advice is wonderful and is worth following regardless. But, I hate to admit (especially given we don't live in a home that is easily defensible or set up for long-term homesteading & we're too close to a major city, so we'd likely perish), I almost hope it does happen. We need a re-set. It's only getting darker out there for people of Faith. I don't know how far that burner is up to yet, but the water is getting hot and that poor frog keeps sitting there with no clue.

On another note, I like what Crew Dog had to say about the "Big Bang" of Christmas. Everything changed that night when Jesus was born but only a very small group of people had any idea that the world changed. It was years before Jesus grew up to start his ministry but, it started at his birth. Just because we didn't see what changed yet, doesn't mean it hasn't.

I also had my eyebrows raised about this and I think it's a normal reaction but I'm also trying to stay little and remember "with God, all things are possible". If we are going to see the greatest action by God since the flood, then our feeble minds can't imagine what it is that is going to happen, because we've never seen it happen before. And just because we've never seen something before doesn't mean it's not possible. I think this jives with his urging to just take the next right step, because when it really hits the fan, all of our mortal planning and scheming is going to be just completely worthless, the only thing that will truly help is if we're in a state of Grace and allow the Holy Spirit to guide us literally one step at a time.

 

Nope. We both like canned corn beef hash and eggs and coffee for breakfast though! Great minds think alike!

 

Considering most eastern and mideastern countries don't even celebrate Christmas, I think Charlie's prophecy on this missed the mark. It surely wasn't an abnormal Christmas anywhere in the west. I think Charlie is a good man, but have any of his prophecies to date been fullfilled other than what we could all have deducted?

 

When I'm walking in a strange area and am a bit lost I don't go studying individaul fields and rocks, I try to step up high as I can so I can have a good view round me.

I tend to believe in Charlie's Prophesies because I believe in Charlie himself. Which, come to think of it is as good a reason as any.

You know when the Church and other folks were examining Lourdes; again and again the comment was how much they were taken by Bernadette herself. They didn't figure the girl was capable of lying.

She was Lourdes biggest single proof.

I get the same impression of Charlie. He's a friend of the truth and wouldn't tell a lie if it made him a Rockefeller.

The guy's transparent , the kind of people, like Bernadette, God chooses for these kind of things.

There are funny old winds blowing in the air at the moment.

It is very hard to write anything on MOG that would seem to question Charlie, because we all agree he is a very likeable guy. So dare I ask, besides his likeability what in his prophetic paulse gives him credibility?

Please correct me if I am wrong, but prophecy on the Christmas of 2013 being the last normal Christmas was flat out wrong, unless you agree with Charlie that there was chaos in parts of the world on Christmas 2014 that validated this prophecy.

Then he coined the slogan we all like: 'take the next right step'. The other alleged message he received was 'the Rescue comes in late 2017". What this specifically means is left to personal interpretation.

Again, we will have to wait 2 more years to see if this comes true and what the 'recue' means. Hopefully it is not as vague as the 'last normal Christmas' prophecy.

God bless Charlie and his work, but I will wait, as I do with all other alleged prophecy, to see if it bears fruit.

Fatima, I really don't know all of Charlies prophesy to be honest. Im fairly new to him. From some things hes posted about I don't think we will have to wait 2 years. Hes made a few predictions to happen in the next year, so I will watch and see.

To be honest, when I decided to give a look and see on LttW with its Sept economic collapse.....etc. I did so based on Msgr Esseff alleged involvement as SD...only later to find out he is Not the SD since 8/2014. I had a knot in my stomach when I did a 2nd look, which I ignored.

I don't have this knot with Charlie I must say, doesnt make me right, Im just goin by my gut at the moment. He gives really sound advice for me

I am sorry, third time on sharing this message to Lec of the Philippines because personally, to me the messages many times sound so imminent (now reading them for 18 years), hah!

Maybe the prophetic sounds this way partly because of man's continued disbelief in prophecy and Heaven hopes watchers will pray more. People shouldn't get upset about timing. Our Lord gives reason for delay.

This morning after the 6:00 am mass, I stayed behind
in the church in front of the Blessed Sacrament and
went on to complete my usual devotional prayers said
every morning. After saying all my prayers, as I am
wont to do everyday, I listened. ....


...It is pathetic when prophesied events given
through consecrated souls do not happen as thus
declared and the messengers vilified for doing what
their hearts feel as our injunction, namely, to let
people know in advance so that they can prepare. I
grieve for these messengers when they suffer out of
obedience to their calling.

Please tell people not to be so hard on God’s
messengers if the events, especially the dire events
do not happen as thus stated, for as I have told you
earlier, God the Father’s heart is easily moved by
even the faint calls for mercy. He is not in a hurry
to render judgment. Certainly, He derives no pleasure
in that. But what is a little delay compared to
eternity, maybe just like a grain of sand on the
seashore or a drop of rain in a raging thunderstorm.

I hope people will understand why there is a delay in
the fulfillment of prophetic events especially for
those presaging the coming of the new Heaven and
earth. But remember also that the glorious era is to
be preceded by the days of woe and that is an
essential consideration why there is a delay. As
Prophesied, a great multitude will perish during
those times and will find themselves before us to
render an accounting of how they lived their lives.
The Father’s heart knows very well how many are
prepared for their judgment and how many are not,
how many will enter into the Father’s House and how
many will not make it. I wish not to burden your
heart anymore on this matter but simply share what
you have to help people in their journey. ...
